I enjoy platformer games and this one hits the spot on several categories! It first drew me in the unique art style that reminds me of those early 2000's cartoons like Samurai Jack. The promise of rapid switching between 3 different characters holds true as well, being extremely quick and fun. Its good that they manage to make the 3 characters distinct enough that they are needed but not too specialized that I can't have a favourite one to use for most of the play time.

Controls are very tight. The combat is very fun and even though it might seem simplistic at first, it actually holds some depth, being able to create fun an interesting combos by switching between characters. Also the economy in the game is aimed to get you upgrades for the characters, unlocking new abilities that are both related to combat and platforming. I am glad they added this avenue to gain some character progression.

Gameplay wise, the mix of platforming and combat is good with some puzzles peppered through out the levels. They are not too difficult and they break the pace in a good way. Also Im glad they don't take too long as I feel the structure of the levels are fertile grounds for some quality speed running.

In terms of levels, they are pretty standard (platforming, some combat, some puzzle solving) for the genre, but Im glad they added some where a hazard will be chasing you. Even though is not new, is very well executed and these levels tend to be shorter but pretty challenging. Add in a recurring mini boss, some levels where they are attempting a bit of exploration (perhaps a metroidvania in the future?) and some well thought out boss fights and you get a solid 7 hours of entertainment that reminds me of old school platformers but with a modern approach.

Beautiful game with a fun beat-em-up combat system with a healthy dose of puzzling. You're able to switch between 3 sibling characters in order to solve the puzzles. The boss fights are super fun and challenging, but the game has an upgrade system to help you out if you get too stuck.

Really fun platformer with lots of cool mechanics. The game requires switching between 3 characters. Each characters has their own special abilities for combat, platforming and puzzles. The art style is highlight of the game. It's bright and colorful with the esthetics of Samurai Jack. I would highly recommend this game to any platformer fans.

This is a super fun platformer! I really enjoy the gameplay for each of the characters; it is my favourite aspect of the game. The levels are a decent length and not too difficult which keeps it entertaining and engaging. The artwork and visuals are really neat.

Fantastic short platformer game full of clever challenges and beautiful art. Reminiscent to old school, tough as nails platformers with a fresh new swapping mechanic between 3 different characters with their own mechanics. I love how well the combat, platforming, and puzzling is woven into the game, keeps a good pace despite the game only being a few hours of length. Definitely worth yourFantastic short platformer game full of clever challenges and beautiful art. Clan O'Conall and the Crown of the Stag is a fine title. It isn't a very long experience, and it doesn't feature multiple difficulties, but the balance between combat and puzzle-solving is well done, and it helps that both elements are quite good on their own. If you don't mind the lack of multiplayer and you wanted an experience like the classic Trine offerings, give this one a spin.

There’s not much to complain about in Clan o’ Conall — the developers have successfully managed to put together a pleasing side-scrolling action-platformer that looks amazing, plays well and manages to implement a neat multi-character system. This one might not break new ground, but there’s no question that it’s a win.
