    Chernobyl Commando could have been a pretty great retro first-person shooter but, as it stands, it's an utter letdown. From the shooting to the movement, the actual content, or the visuals, the game disappoints in all sorts of ways.

    This game is one of the worst games that i ever played it made me get out of my room and think how could a Nvidia geforce GTX 960 that runsThis game is one of the worst games that i ever played it made me get out of my room and think how could a Nvidia geforce GTX 960 that runs Battlefield 4 on ultra average 60 fps go 45~50 fps in this game the graphics the graphics are horrible the gameplay made me never want to play a game again in my life and at the start of this game you carry a pistol a semi auto svd a not auto svd and a awp wich is ridiculous why someone brings 3 snipers and no assault rifle or smg the music is the same thing looping it almost make me vomit on the the floor.… Full Review »

    bumped score down on reflection. this isn't a great game by any standard. however, it was some what cheap. game play was generally uninspired.bumped score down on reflection. this isn't a great game by any standard. however, it was some what cheap. game play was generally uninspired. the weapons didn't feel very realistic and the frame-rate was mediocre at best. the less said about the voice-acting the better. there isn't much room for strategy and you're pretty much funneled in a linear-direction. the only reason i wasn't totally fuming at the game was because i bought it for 4.99. even then, i still feel slightly ripped off.… Full Review »

    let's see what's wrong with the game

    First, the Weapons, you get 3 snipers (Edit: plus one more sniper in the final mission), a pistol, and 2 machine gun, and with three snipers you would think "Wow, three snipers? this sounds like a good and easy game" oh, buddy, you're so wrong, let me tell you, one of the sniper didn't even work properly, for example, for me! it took 20 bullets with one of it to kill someone! 20! **** 20! It's not fun when you had to use a sniper! and you NEED TO SHOOT FOR A HUNDRED TIME WITH IT! TO KILL AN ENEMY!!! The second sniper is slightly better, but still sucks, and the third sniper, by some miracle, works, sometimes you still need to shoot for about 3-5 times, but it's still better than shooting someone with a sniper for 30 seconds with 20 bullets, the machine guns your average weapons, which is good, really, not something groundbreaking, but good, and the pistol...the ****, pistol, that you never even use, i used for, 3 minutes in my entire walkthrough, and only when i didn't have bullets in my machine guns, but then i **** i have 3 **** snipers, why not just use them, but when i wanted to use one, i remembered, two of them sucks! so let's get to the other point, which is the framerate issues

    what specs the developer recommends you? A Dual Core Pentium processor, 1 GB ram, and a DirectX9 Compatible videocard, with at least 512MB Of VRAM, sounds good right? well, no. now i don't have the best computer, but let me tell you, my specs is way better than a Dual Core Processor, 1 GB Ram, and the 512MB Of VRAM Card, but i LITERALLY HAD TO DOWNGRADE! THE **** GAME! ON LOW GRAPHICS, TO GET 30 **** FPS ON THE GAME! that's not **** funny you know?! when the game is so terrible, even the game doesn't want to run at an acceptable framerate! but now, let's talk about the AI a little

    I Played the game, on Easy difficult (Edit: No matter what difficult you play on, you heal way too quickly), because i didn't have the patience to spend most of my time on a **** game, and, the AI, from 100 **** Meters, can shoot you! and no, not with a sniper! WITH A **** MACHINE GUN! FROM 100 METER OR MORE! WHO THE **** THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA! TO MAKE THE AI SO **** STRONG?! IF I DIDN'T PLAY THE GAME AT EASY DIFFICULT I WOULD HAVE DIED FOR GOD KNOWS HOW MANY TIME! the AI, is the most disgusting thing! in the entire game! most of the time i didn't even know who the **** shoots me because they are so **** far away! the only reason i didn't die for 1000 times is because, again! Easy difficult! i died for like, 5 times in the entire game, but if i would have play the game on normal difficult, well, that's another story, but let's talk about the story

    26 years after a fatal accident in Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant that covered half of the Europe in clouds of radioactive smoke, a large group of terrorists took over the area, trying to steal all the remaining radioactive waste - and use it.

    Ukrainian and Russian forces hit them with all they could, but the enemy was well prepared and the small war raged on. Two of the best Spec Ops agents move in on their own, hitting the enemy hard before they can escape with the loot. This is a no-frills, old style, gun-blazing and explosion-roaring attack against multitude of enemies. While sometimes helped by the Army, you are mostly on your own. Hit them hard where it hurts and become a legend for generations to come!

    so...where is the story? this is the most generic, stupidest, piece of **** i ever read in my entire career on steam, this is just a sad, a sorry excuse of a story, this is not a story, my 9 years old niece can think about a better story in 5 minutes, than the developers of the game, and that tells something, now, for 10 Euro/Dollar, you would expect at least like, 5-7 hours of gameplay, just look at how long it took me to beat the game! 3 hours! 3 **** HOURS! And that's not something like Sega's Sonic Forces, for 40 Euro/Dollar with 1 hour of cutscene and about 1,5-2 hours of gameplay, no, at least Sonic Forces tries! tries to please the fans! BUT THIS?! THIS GARBAGE?! THIS GAME DOES NOT EVEN TRY TO PLEASE THE AVERAGE FPS PLAYERS! IT'S JUST THE TYPICAL "Let's make a game in Unity Engine (or i don't care what game making software it was to develop the game) and put it on steam for 1/2/5/10 Euro/Dollars to get a quick cash" BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT THE GAME TOLD ME WITH THE GAMEPLAY AND THE STORY! **** CASH HUNGRY HENTAI PUZZLE GAME DEVELOPERS ARE BETTER, BECAUSE AT LEAST THEY PUT THEY GAMES ON STEAM, FOR REALLY CHEAP,
