Despite its visually stunning fractal-inspired world and towering monsters, the gameplay fails to deliver a cohesive experience, leaving players frustrated and the intended message unclear. While the game's organic development shows potential, it ultimately struggles to fulfill its ambitious vision.

    It makes for an interesting experience that probably won’t appeal to everyone – but it’s such an intriguing mixture that it feels like it deserves to be recognized, and it’s very easy to imagine someone absolutely loving Chasing the Unseen.
