    Casylevania: LOS2 is currently on sale through stream so I figured to try out the demo. After only playing through the demo, the game is FUN. With an Xbox 360 gamepad, combat and movement are fluid and fun. I really don't understand all the negative pro reviews. On one hand, the pro reviews are abysmal, then on the other hand, the player reviews are mostly very positive.     I really do not understand the lower reviews this game got. I mean, it improves SO MANY aspects from the first game. I couldn't even finish the first Lords of Shadow. It was somewhat boring, unlike this one. Gabriel is wicked sick as Dracula, the plot seems awesome so far, and gameplay is top notch. The artwork is very well made, making the atmosphere of the game look cool and all.

    The engine is very well optimized. The game runs smooth in my modest PC. The graphics are astonishing, WAY better than the first game's. Gameplay-wise, it offers a little bit more of flexibility than the first game made possible. I'm not all fan of hack 'n' slash games, but this one is superb.
    Don't let the bad reviews turn you down. In my opinion, they're not making justice of a great game Lords of Shadow 2 is.    … Expand

    Great game with good gameplay and well enhanced graphics, has a very broad movement system, allowing a greater variety of moves and combos, the only negative point is the absence of an online mode, still the game was flawless.

    Awful - WISH I would have read a review before getting this game. It's 10 steps backward from the original. I was expecting so much more. The graphics aren't bad, but the gameplay just becomes a bore.

    I'm surprised at how well this game turned out. At first I looked at it and thought it would be one of my games I rarely ever played, however this game delivered. The combat feels good and the graphics are amazing. However what drags it down is 1. It doesn't feel anything like the original Castlevanias, yknow, the amazing classic ones and simons quest? 2. There are some glitches 3. TheI'm surprised at how well this game turned out. At first I looked at it and thought it would be one of my games I rarely ever played, however this game delivered.     very nice fluent playing game . No money rip like all the idiotic extreme **** hard games like, wait a second , i hate this game & the hype about that terrible **** its called -Dark Souls III - .

    If you like a nice playing game buy this one for a little price. Not dirty Dark Souls shXt !!!

    The 2th game from this universe is so different. But if you like 1st game, you maybe love this again. But sometimes, when i play a I feel boring. And you must play only with gamepad, combination mouse+key is so bad optimized for playing. But if you like this universe, play it. But others.....

    I loved the first one, and the same for this one.

    Gameplay, graphics and enemies are at a high level. Maybe the story is not that good...

    Bosses fights are epic and numerous.

    I have read and heart a lot of negative feedback about this game, but if you have the chance, give it a try. Totally worth it.

    This one is definetly better than the first one, gameplay wise. But the story is just too childish and uninteresting. I stayed for the epic battles and violance. Stealth sections sucked but I finished the game.

    A good stand alone game, but a very very disappointing sequel. Lords of Shadow will always be one of the best Castlevania games, and one of the most playable overall games. I think where LOS2 failed is the mixing of the old and new. This game felt more like the reboot of Devil May Cry (DMC) than it did an open-world Castlevania title. The play mechanics are fun, and it feels good toA good stand alone game, but a very very disappointing sequel. Lords of Shadow will always be one of the best Castlevania games, and one of the most playable overall games. I think where LOS2 failed is the mixing of the old and new. This game felt more like the reboot of Devil May Cry (DMC) than it did an open-world Castlevania title. The play mechanics are fun, and it feels good to upgrade your character as you progress through the story, but once you see that you are working against an evil corporation that is run by evil, it just feels corny. The characters and 'God of War' style game play is fun and strong but the story nearly stops the game in it's tracks. As a fan, this is a disappointing game to end the story of the previous game which easily had the most jaw dropping conclusion I've seen. If you are a fan of the DMC reboot you may like this, but I can say that most Castlevania fans may be completely unimpressed.… Expand

    Someone once said that a good game should be diverse, and this misconception has killed more than one good project. That's Lords of Shadow 2 for some reason believes that players need to constantly entertain nonsense. She suggests first to fight, then climb, then explore, then hide, and then ride on some platforms.     The Lords of Shadow 2 keeps many of its predecessor's great assets like charming graphics and fun combat. The locked camera is luckily gone, which means that the gamer experiences much less irritating moments during gameplay. The game, unfortunately lacks awesome gothic atmosphere and refined story, which were present in the first game. Still a great game though. 8/10

    Definitely a downgrade from original Lords of Shadow, but it doesn't mean that this is a bad game, simply original one was a masterpiece. Sequel still has a lot of charm and great atmosphere. I really got into this world and story in original Lords of Shadow so I played sequel mostly because of that, so I may not see flaws that people with neutral approach can see, but from artisticDefinitely a downgrade from original Lords of Shadow, but it doesn't mean that this is a bad game, simply original one was a masterpiece. Sequel still has a lot of charm and great atmosphere.     There are times where I both loved and hated Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. I really like the first Lords of Shadow, with the Gothic setting, the fresh character design, the story, and the many diverse/fun situations. Lords of Shadow 2 is at its best when it puts the player in dynamic combat where you are Dracula, the Prince of Darkness, laying waste to whoever dares to stand against you.There are times where I both loved and hated Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. I really like the first Lords of Shadow, with the Gothic setting, the fresh character design, the story, and the many diverse/fun situations. Lords of Shadow 2 is at its best when it puts the player in dynamic combat where you are Dracula, the Prince of Darkness, laying waste to whoever dares to stand against you. However, the stealth sections felt both tedious and illogical (why would the strongest vampire on the planet be afraid of some trash mobs, with big guns sure, and pushed to hide? I mean Satan and Death itself are afraid of him... I don't get it).

    Pros:
    + Great artistic direction.
    + Dynamic combat.
    + Great boss battles.
    + You play as mothereffing DRACULA, the DRAGON!!
    + I enjoyed both the Gothic & Sciebce Fiction settings.
    + Great voice acting.

    Cons:
    - Stealth sections.
    - The overall world map is tedious to navigate.
    - Could have benefited of more combo variety and powers (remember the animation HELLSING, that's a bad ♥♥♥ vampire).

    O jogo é lindo, as mecânicas são legais e os gráficos muito bons, porém se você está querendo jogar esse jogo pela história, você está bem ferrado... é bem confusa, informações são entregues a você de forma muito embaralhada e não segue muito bem o ramo dos originais da série, é basicamente um Hack n' Slash legal... enfim, jogue ele pela mecânica, não pela história!

    Robot enemies don’t fit at all in the Castlevania world
    You transform into a rat in the stealth sections …ridiculous
    Inconsistent art style, some levels look nice like classic Castlevania while others (Theatre) look like Disneyland

    This is a very underrated game. I don't know why this game got such bad reviews from the press but they got it all wrong. This is a very good game.

    Great gameplay, cool weapons, interesting characters, good voice acting, nice perks and upgrades, fantastic boss fights, engaging story. It's all there. What more can you ask for ?     What the hell is wrong with these critics. No way this game is a 58 game, no fricking way. It may not be perfect, but it is A VERY ENJOYABLE GAME, despised because It has 4 sessions of stealth that lasts 3 minutes each. What the hell.

    One of the most underrated games of all times. For me is a masterpiece if you like that hack and slash genre. Don't listen to the haters and go for it. I can't believe how this saga died.

    The creators have looked everywhere and were inspired by everything, but unlike the competition there's no quality in their endeavours. Instead of a great hack and slash title they serve us a merely stereotypically dull piece without brains. On top of that, the game looks off colour.
