    One of the most underrated games of all times. For me is a masterpiece if you like that hack and slash genre. Don't listen to the haters and go for it. I can't believe how this saga died.

    What the hell is wrong with these critics. No way this game is a 58 game, no fricking way. It may not be perfect, but it is A VERY ENJOYABLE GAME, despised because It has 4 sessions of stealth that lasts 3 minutes each. What the hell.

    This is a very underrated game. I don't know why this game got such bad reviews from the press but they got it all wrong. This is a very good game.

    Great gameplay, cool weapons, interesting characters, good voice acting, nice perks and upgrades, fantastic boss fights, engaging story. It's all there. What more can you ask for ?     very nice fluent playing game . No money rip like all the idiotic extreme **** hard games like, wait a second , i hate this game & the hype about that terrible **** its called -Dark Souls III - .

    If you like a nice playing game buy this one for a little price. Not dirty Dark Souls shXt !!!

    O jogo é lindo, as mecânicas são legais e os gráficos muito bons, porém se você está querendo jogar esse jogo pela história, você está bem ferrado... é bem confusa, informações são entregues a você de forma muito embaralhada e não segue muito bem o ramo dos originais da série, é basicamente um Hack n' Slash legal... enfim, jogue ele pela mecânica, não pela história!

    There are times where I both loved and hated Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. I really like the first Lords of Shadow, with the Gothic setting, the fresh character design, the story, and the many diverse/fun situations. Lords of Shadow 2 is at its best when it puts the player in dynamic combat where you are Dracula, the Prince of Darkness, laying waste to whoever dares to stand against you.There are times where I both loved and hated Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. I really like the first Lords of Shadow, with the Gothic setting, the fresh character design, the story, and the many diverse/fun situations. Lords of Shadow 2 is at its best when it puts the player in dynamic combat where you are Dracula, the Prince of Darkness, laying waste to whoever dares to stand against you. However, the stealth sections felt both tedious and illogical (why would the strongest vampire on the planet be afraid of some trash mobs, with big guns sure, and pushed to hide? I mean Satan and Death itself are afraid of him... I don't get it).

    Pros:
    + Great artistic direction.
    + Dynamic combat.
    + Great boss battles.
    + You play as mothereffing DRACULA, the DRAGON!!
    + I enjoyed both the Gothic & Sciebce Fiction settings.
    + Great voice acting.

    Cons:
    - Stealth sections.
    - The overall world map is tedious to navigate.
    - Could have benefited of more combo variety and powers (remember the animation HELLSING, that's a bad ♥♥♥ vampire).

    The Lords of Shadow 2 keeps many of its predecessor's great assets like charming graphics and fun combat. The locked camera is luckily gone, which means that the gamer experiences much less irritating moments during gameplay. The game, unfortunately lacks awesome gothic atmosphere and refined story, which were present in the first game. Still a great game though. 8/10

    Definitely a downgrade from original Lords of Shadow, but it doesn't mean that this is a bad game, simply original one was a masterpiece. Sequel still has a lot of charm and great atmosphere. I really got into this world and story in original Lords of Shadow so I played sequel mostly because of that, so I may not see flaws that people with neutral approach can see, but from artisticDefinitely a downgrade from original Lords of Shadow, but it doesn't mean that this is a bad game, simply original one was a masterpiece.     I loved the first one, and the same for this one.

    Gameplay, graphics and enemies are at a high level. Maybe the story is not that good...

    Bosses fights are epic and numerous.

    I have read and heart a lot of negative feedback about this game, but if you have the chance, give it a try. Totally worth it.

    Quando esse jogo saiu tive um alto preconceito contra ele, e para onde a historia tomou rumo, e por se passar nos dias atuais. Com a promoção resolvi comprar e ver, e, realmente mudou a forma como eu o via. É simplesmente fantastico a trilha sonora, a dublagem, os gráficos mesmo não tendo paisagens de natureza, somente castelos e fábricas é fantastico, tudo muito bonito. A trilha sonora não é tão variavel mas é muito marcante e bem feita. A historia consegue te prender o que o faz jogar mais e mais. Não é um jogo tão facil mesmo colocando no médio mas isso pode ser porque eu sou ruim, teve alguns momentos frustrantes mas isso que se faz um bom jogo nada de moleza. Eu recomendo sim esse jogo inclusive com a dlc que tem para entender melhor a historia. Pode pegar sem medo.… Expand

    This game is unique. People keep blabbing about how games doesn't change, how things keep repetitive in the gaming world. But this game does this and in its unique way. I think all the gameplay mechanics and all new visual style and story not just better but a great way to continue the Belmont saga. Graphics improved, controls are much more responsive. I think people need to think about it. There are Trojans and there are Greeks and for each one we have a flavor. It's rare the occasions when both agree to chose the same flavor but still, in the end, they will fight for the last slice!… Expand

    First the things that carry on from the first game. There's still the good story, interesting combat, great music you know from the first game.     This time around the world is a semi connected open world which is connected cleverly between air lock type passage ways and elevators that surpass looking at a loading screen.

    The camera is a free form camera this time around but it will try and find a good spot by itself for combat which it's mostly successful at.

    The visuals are beautiful and immersive with the little details they added and the HD textures.

    They changed up the puzzles this time around from being actual puzzles to being more like 'situations' you have to determine the best way to go through. While I preferred the puzzles of the first game, this change wasn't so bad.

    You get transform into a pack of rats, and live the rat life for few sections which is pretty cool.

    If you're into Metroidvania type games, there is plenty of that to go around. However, it isn't mandatory as you'll get a decent amount of power-ups by being observant the first time you go through an area.

    Some of the bad things:
    Ah the stealth sections. They weren't horrible but they didn't make much sense as 98% the things you were hiding from you would wind up fighting anyway 30 seconds later.
    While I can see why they did it, the climbing sections weren't as rewarding this time around due to the game pretty much highlighting where you need to go. Though it's needed because the climbing paths blend into the environments more this time around.
    I also wasn't a fan of the combat upgrade system as it kinda forced you to spam certain abilities to level up your 'mastery' of a weapon type.

    Overall it was a fun game with a good story, music and mechanics. I don't regret spending time on it. Though I do wish they went into more about what the aftermath was with what happened to the 2 original members of the brotherhood.    … Expand

    I really like the soundtracks from this game, Oscar Araujo is the best,
    i like the story, but gameplay could be better, anyway, i played this game 3 times and only the stealth missions were boring, the controls are not good, but you can fix them

    This was a really fun game, The first one was fun too. For some reason I've read over a few of the reviews on there and people seem to be really polarized on this one; you either loved it or you hated it. Me I though it was good but not great. I would give it a solid 85 strong effort with room to grow for LOS3. I'm voting a 10 because I think that a few of negative reviews were written in the heat of the moment and didn't take into account some of the really fun moments this game had to offer, so with that in mind I want to raise the overall score.

    One thing that really stood out for me was the story and the boss fights, both were really well done from start to finish. One thing that I didn't really like too much was by the end of the game it just felt like of hard to get around (meaning you have to do a lot of jumping and cliff climbing and steam morphing) the game word. So IMHO in LOS3 I would like to see a return to the open world but just make it a bit more....open.

    Also I though I would give a nod to the integration of stealth in to the Castelvania series. One of Konami's biggest franchises is metal gear (a stealth based game) and that's a lot fun to play. Now with that being said WHEN the stealth was used in the game needs work, I mean some times it felt like "I and kick theses guys asses at will...why is the game making me hide from them?" So instead of forced stealth and action sections of the game (and never the two shall meet) it would be great to see a more holistic approach to stealth where its always an option open to the player and you can decide when and where to use it.

    Graphics and sound (and music) are excellent the concept art is fun to look over, especially the orthographic drawings of the character models. One thing that does pop up on my radar is that the modern day Castlevania City does has a certain....sameness to it and that can get boring. By contrast the Dracula's castle has a nice variety of maps and level styles to it so that's just one thing to mention.

    Hop on steam pick it up on sale this Christmas and play it if your a Castlevania fan, or like hack and slash games this is a good one to grab!    … Expand

    Great game with good gameplay and well enhanced graphics, has a very broad movement system, allowing a greater variety of moves and combos, the only negative point is the absence of an online mode, still the game was flawless.

    Wow I was really excited for this game due to my love for the first one. Unfortunately it kind of fell in between the cracks of me upgrading my ps3 to the ps4. However, with the recent steam sale on this game I had to pick it up and I have been playing all day. If you are a castevania fan then just hearing the belmont names brings a little warmth to your heart. This story albeit odd, isWow I was really excited for this game due to my love for the first one. Unfortunately it kind of fell in between the cracks of me upgrading my ps3 to the ps4. However, with the recent steam sale on this game I had to pick it up and I have been playing all day. If you are a castevania fan then just hearing the belmont names brings a little warmth to your heart. This story albeit odd, is presented in a way that just gives you amazing moments in the game. Graphics are great in my opinion havent seen anything to complain about. The items in the game add some fun flavor to combat but you could probably complete game without using them. Button mashing yes and no. You will switch between weapons on the fly and it works so seamlessly yes you could just button mash but if you take a little extra effort you can get alot of enjoyment out of the combat. If you are on the fence but enjoy castlevania games or enjoyed the first one I highly recommend getting this game.… Expand

    Game felt a bit long against against the end, and (playing with a guide) I skipped the last collectibles to get to the end. Which I personally didn't like specifically, but I believe it is in canon and hence acceptable. Give this game a try if you liked LOS 1, you shouldn't regret it.    … Expand

    This game is awesome if you liked the first game you will enjoy this one. Game play wise its very familiar with some more variation. Graphics are great. I really got into the story of the 1st game, and as a continuation this one is great. Give it a chance but play the 1st game first so you can get the most out of it, I feel that you wouldn't know whats going on without it. and that'sThis game is awesome if you liked the first game you will enjoy this one.     Casylevania: LOS2 is currently on sale through stream so I figured to try out the demo. After only playing through the demo, the game is FUN. With an Xbox 360 gamepad, combat and movement are fluid and fun. I really don't understand all the negative pro reviews. On one hand, the pro reviews are abysmal, then on the other hand, the player reviews are mostly very positive.     I have to give this game a 10. Its sad to see the low score this game is getting by people who just play this for 10 minutes and leave it in there steam library. Its different from the first one but in a good way. I am happy the combat system and weapons changed and there is even a new learning curve to how to use Gabriel. You can truly see the level of commitment Mercury Steam has put into this game. From beautiful art style, excellent voice acting and strong music score to delighting and hilarious fan service. Yes, the game certainly it’s flaws: sneaking sections and generic level design in some areas. Those flaws are just one hour or less of the 20 hour campaign.     I really enjoyed this game and thought that it was better then the first one. The camera system was a huge improvement and the graphics were actually pretty good..... they did well with the story carrying on from the last game in most part - so if you didn't play the first game and the DLC for the first game you may not understand why things happen the way they do. I mean honestly Critic score of 58/100 .... thank god I generally judge a game on User score.. because that's honestly utter BS. If you play this game without expecting a 'hack and slash button mash' kinda experience (similar to devil may cry) then you will probably be disappointed....... if you don't like those 'kind' of games - fair enough. but that isnt a reason to rate this game low. Anyway I hope they make a 3rd :)… Expand

    The creators have looked everywhere and were inspired by everything, but unlike the competition there's no quality in their endeavours. Instead of a great hack and slash title they serve us a merely stereotypically dull piece without brains. On top of that, the game looks off colour.
