This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. This review is based off of a single playthrough of the game. There are multiple branching paths (and I guess multiple endings), but I've only completed a single playthrough. If you're curious as to which path I took, then it's the path where you stay at the university and try to fix everyone's memory loss, and your character ends up falling in love with Kaen Kurumi.

    == Genre ==

    First thing that needs to be said: based on my experience, if you were looking for an interesting adventure game, then you'll be sorely disappointed. This is a Dating Sim. The store page describes this game as an "adventure visual novel", but during my playthrough, the game made me spend more time developing relationships with the 3 main female characters than actually spending any time doing any adventuring or mystery solving.

    Since I was expecting an adventure game and not a Dating Sim, I found the dialogue in this game to be very boring. In fact, the pacing of the game in general is very slow and boring, I felt like a lot of the dialogue and scenes were just a lot of unnecessary padding and filler. There were very few interesting and eventful scenes that actually progressed the story forward in any meaningful way. For example (minor spoilers),
during one section of the game, you'll spend several scenes having a very boring conversation about white and albino animals, which all leads up to a very tiny reveal about the personality of one of the female characters. Then there's the scene about eating a bunch of bugs
.

    == Tsukuba University ==

    Large portions of this game are dedicated to describing the area around Tsukuba University. There's this one portion where your character walks around touring the campus and visiting different shrines in the area, and it feels like you're reading a promotional travel pamphlet for tourists. I found that to be quite boring.

    == Art and Fan Service ==

    The art for this game is generally very high quality, with only a few exceptions here and there, such as the side profile art for Togi (the female character with long green hair and pointy teeth), which has her mouth drawn in a weird position...but perhaps that's just a subjective criticism of the art style.

    There is no visual fan service in this game (at least none that I found in my playthrough). You will see no panty shots, no cleavage, or anything sexually suggestive in general. In general, the female characters are visually portrayed in a non-sexual manner, with perhaps the small exception of Kaen Kurumi, who has a very prominent chest, and who occasionally throws up her arms in such a manner that her chest becomes emphasized.

    So if you were looking for some fan service in this game, you'll be disappointed. If not, then you're all good.

    Although there is no visual fan service, the dialogue in the game can occasionally be very sexually suggestive or downright dirty, especially between the two main male characters and one of the main female characters.

    == Translation ==

    In general, with a few minor exceptions, I found the English translation to be very good.

    There were occasionally a few minor grammatical errors here and there, and sometimes the punctuation would be odd, such as using questions marks "?" for statements, and using periods "." for questions. Also, when there would be a quote within a quote, the translation wouldn't use single apostrophes for the inner quote.

    For example, instead of saying something like "The police officer said 'Stop right there!', and held up his hand", the translation would just use double quotes for everything, like "The police officer said "Stop right there!", and held up his hand".

    Finally, some of the choice of words used in the translation were awkward, such as the use of "incorrigible". While incorrigible was used correctly in context, it's a very intellectual word that you would probably never hear someone speak aloud in spoken English, you would probably only find it in an academic paper or a speech by some super smart politician or something. I actually had to look the word up in the dictionary to learn what it meant.

    Using simpler terms that would sound more natural in casual spoken English would have made the dialogue more believable and immersive.

    Overall though, I have to reiterate, the English translation is very good, and had very few, minor issues.

    == Closing Thoughts ==

    I completed a single playthrough of the game in about 8 or 9 hours, but I started skipping a lot of the boring dialogue about halfway or 3/4 of the way through, so if you actually bother to read everything, then your playtime during a single run might be a little longer.

    Overall I was very disappointed with this game, but mainly because I wasn't expecting a Dating Sim, I wanted to solve an interesting mystery. If you're looking for a Dating Sim with fan service, then you won't find one here either. If you don't mind the lack of fan service and boring dialogue, then maybe
