    I'm gonna give it an 8 because I love the multiplayer. It's surprisingly lots of fun...but having to level guns all the way to 70 is a bit ridiculous and unnecessary. 50 to 55 is a good max. We dont need 20 different scopes Activision! The zombies mode for right now is absolutely terrible and painfully boring. Hopefully it improves drastically by season 1

    Battlefield2042 has 22 guns and people are hyping it up like it would be some next coming of shooters lmao. Vanguard - best shooter of 2021.

    Pra comunidade BR, esse jogo é de certa forma apenas uma recriação do mw 2019, usando a mesma engine porém adicionando novas tecnologias para ela. A campanha é muito divertida e bem fluida como a gameplay em geral, você aprende muito sobre os personagens, os gráficos e os níveis são sensacionais. Os mapas não são repetitivos e tem uma estrutura bem única e bonita, além de re-fazer 2 mapasPra comunidade BR, esse jogo é de certa forma apenas uma recriação do mw 2019, usando a mesma engine porém adicionando novas tecnologias para ela. A campanha é muito divertida e bem fluida como a gameplay em geral, você aprende muito sobre os personagens, os gráficos e os níveis são sensacionais. Os mapas não são repetitivos e tem uma estrutura bem única e bonita, além de re-fazer 2 mapas do antigo COD WAW que estão sensacionais. A variedade de armas e vem vasta para um lançamento de um cod novo, muito superior à alguns dos cods recentemente lançados e que com certeza vai ganhar muito mais conteúdo com tempo. Infelizmente o zombies é bem enjoativo mas apresenta também muitas mecânicas noas e pode ser divertido para jogadores novos! Oque eu posso dizer?     Way better than last year's cod and obviously better shooter than battlefail2042. Would recommend to veterans and new cod fans! I also reccommend Battlefield fans looking for a solid FPS game instead of the embarrassment and trash Battlefield 2042 is, I'm both a Major Battlefield and Call Of Duty fan myself and i guarantee that this is a much better Cod than cold war was aswell as a goodWay better than last year's cod and obviously better shooter than battlefail2042. Would recommend to veterans and new cod fans!     I have been playing this game for 50 in game hours now, the multiplayer that is. Vanguard is actually in it's core a very good game and i am really enjoying it. But behind the satisfaction of camo grinds, shipment, das haus, and getting shotgun kills it's really unfinished and is a total bugfest! This game REALLY needs more polish and it's time that activision doesn't make the developersI have been playing this game for 50 in game hours now, the multiplayer that is. Vanguard is actually in it's core a very good game and i am really enjoying it. I think that if this game fixed the overpowered killstreaks, nerfs the shotguns, fixed the mode rotation on ship haus, fixes glitches, fills zombies with more content, fixes the camo challenge bugs, and fixes the riot shield bugh then i would actually admit that Vanmguard would be a solid 10, im being honest. I am going to give it a 8 because that's what i think it will be in atleast 2 months time!… Expand

The heavily scripted and linear campaign is a hit and miss, while the expensive multiplayer mode will keep you busy in a reliable way, without offering any remarkable innovation. The multiplayer maps suffer from various bugs and poor design choices (operators vs operators; not even divided into factions!).     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It turns out that it was actually better than I expected at launch. The Beta was kinda null in certain points, but Sledgehammer Games actually listened to what we wanted in the game, and they did it. Various adjustments and additions, balances, visibility, and everything else in betweens. The superior IW 8.0 engine did show the beauty here, but there are some things that I need to pointed out.

    (+3) Multiplayer at launch was better than I expected. Seems like they have tuned down their controversial and "rage-inducing" skill-based matchmaking (at least, from my perspective). Players are now rewarded more often and penalized less. A solid step-up from Black Ops: Cold War, where in that game, everything would not be able to go along together in the right direction.

    (+1.5) SUPPORT BOTH NVIDIA DLSS AND AMD FIDELITYFX SUPER RESOLUTION.

    (+1.5) Visiblity is an improvement here compared to Modern Warfare (2019). More colors are visible and you can still see characters in certain dark areas.

    (+1) Maps were well-designed, with balances between "predictable lanes" and "encourage camping." They allowed for a more wider-range of engagement, dynamics and balance of gunfights. Covers and destructible environments make this even more intriguing.

    (+0.5) Tons of settings to play around.

    (0) I wish the campaign was longer and go through the beginning of World War 2.

    (0) Despite using IW 8.0 engine. There are NO ray-tracing options in the game. A slight let down, but it really does not matter since a game like this demanded quick reaction and fast frames, and the game still look beautiful without ray-tracing.

    (0) Don't expect historical accuracy from this game.

    (-0.5) No factions. This can cause confusions during an intense gunfight.

    (-0.5) Sniper rifles take forever to aim. But I think they were intended to preserve their true roles to support from long range and not going in aggressively.

    (-1) Grinds take too much time. Even with Double XPs enabled, you can level up your weapon on average - 3 to 4 levels per match.

    (-1) Cheaters are in the game already! They got everything unlocked before they even play their first match! (Still not widespread, though.)
    [New anti-cheat is coming. I hoped that it will deal a major blow to them.]

    (-1) Some bugs were seen, hopefully they will fix them in the future.

    (-3) Zombies were a let down. It feels unfinished for a reason.    … Expand

    SBMM Ruins it a little bit. Gunplay and sound design are still a downgrade from modern warfare sadly. Also the operators ruin it a bit i think along with the censorship. Shotguns are broken atm.
    That's about it, still a solid CoD tho.

I.e. launching with broken challenges, broken camos, broken spawns, glitched infinite killstreaks and overpowered shotguns. Most of these issues have been fixed within the first month, it just seems odd that they're all issues previous CODs seem to always launch with. Even the new map just added feels like it wasn't tested before releasing as the brightness is just randomly 100 times too high.

    All in all, its your pretty standard call of duty release. If you have the time to grind, you'll get your money's worth of enjoyment out of it.    … Expand

However, the maps in the game are so, so so bad. They are too big, I get shot from absolutely everywhere, can't see who is shooting me, etc. Though these are things they can fix when they add new maps.     Campaign and graphics are mediocre, but atleast they are better than cold war. Multiplayer however, bugs bugs and bugs... idiot spawning system and broken things such as legal wall hacks make the game far from being fun to play

    The game is fun, but its very broken. Bugs are left unchanged over 1 month after release, progression is slow and grindy, zombies is awful and the operator system is annoying. Campaign looks nice but its not very fun. I've played 20 hours and will probably play another 40 by the time the next COD comes out, but this is a very mediocre release.

    O jogo tem seus momentos, a customização é bacana, a variedade dos mapas melhorou consideravelmente comparado aos ultimos jogos e a destruição de cenario é boa (dependendo do mapa) e algumas melhoras quando comparado ao MW19 e BOCW.

    Everything’s locked, and requires serious game
    Progression to unlock what was once available to play upon starting the game. The audio has serious issues, the campaign is rinse lather repeat, and of course, the new woke social Justice bullsh*t, woman strong, man bad. It’s a joke. These game developers are catering to Twitter weirdos, which make for an extremely small category of people they’re trying to appease. Everyday people like myself are seeing this nonsense and getting completely weirded out and turned off from the game. I hope they realize that 90% of call of duty fans are males…

    I’ve read the other posts too…Diehard white Knight COD fanboys trying to say that any negative reviews are from Battlefield Fanboys, well, I got news for you, I’m a die hard COD fan that’s been playing the game since its PS1 conception, long before a lot of you were just seeds in your fathers b*lls, and the game is rough, and I legit feel dissatisfied with the games current condition. If you wish you had the PS5 version, don’t stress, because you are not missing much.

    The campaign is locked on the disc I bought and had to download it through the PSN store which is whack, and for the matter the campaign is rinse, lather, repeat. Can I just get a war game without being force fed some women bs? Women are plastered all over this game with sexy quips and one liners, sure it might cool for some under developed pre-pubescent teenager, but old time fans like myself could give two sh*ts about that stuff. We’re women in WW2 sure, but it wasn’t as normalized as COD’s trying to make it. Which is it that COD is trying to here? Make a realistic war game?Or cater to social Justice? Or maybe they’re trying to do both, but come in man, I just want to play a war game, let’s leave all of that modern political agenda bs out of it.

    To me it’s an average entry, and it’s made me legit sick of the WW2 era at this point. COD now needs to remain in the present, or fast forward to the future. There’s only so many WW2 stories I can keep playing. On multiplayer that Ricochet anti hacker thing they’ve been promoting also didn’t do crap, as several lobbies were littered with cheaters. The audio for me was glitchy and even worse than modern warfare. I dunno man, it was or should I say feels like it was lazy. What scares me is that if this was a solid effort by devs, then somethings wrong over there behind the scenes. This game does not deserve a 10 man…No shot… But it doesn’t deserve a 0 either. You’d have to have an IQ of a peanut to give the game a 0. For a game to have a 0 score, then it can’t even be function and it would have to be completely broken, which it’s not. However, it’s average at best, and a slightly below average game at best.

    COD needs to stop releasing annual games, or just focus on beefing up Warzone moving forward. In the meantime start working on a new COD game engine, because what we have is old and dated.

The graphics are good, and you can go down the invisible and scripted corridor and shoot dummies dressed in Nazi uniform. A fresh experience if you are 14 yo. A tedious one for those who remember the D-Day from the original CoD of 2003 and have played those fps for years. The graphics are good, and you can go down the invisible and scripted corridor and shoot dummies dressed in Nazi uniform. A fresh experience if you are 14 yo.     I don't know how a company as big as Activision can somehow manage to have dedicated servers worse than P2P connections, but they did it. Even on Gigabit connection, I somehow manage to drop 30% of my packets, but only in this joke of a game. Gameplay would be good, if bullets would actually function, and i wasn't constantly teleporting

    Give us please a choice between ranked and unranked lobbies. It is very nice to play the first 10 matches and you really have fun with different types of players. But when sbmm turns on it starts to be much sweatier with every match. I want to play for fun and just relax.

    The same as every year nothing changes the same animation the same game loop they added the blitz mod which makes the game unplayable **** map design that you get boxed at spawn overpower guns and the list goes on the only good thing is the graphics if you want to buy it just wait for a sale it's not worth the money

    Tem diversos bugs, alguns são dentro da partida, outros são por fora, como por exemplo os desafios pra tu ganhar a camuflagem, vários estão bugados.
    Os mapas são os piores já feitos, sabe aquele mapa que sempre tem em todo cod e tu nunca joga pq ele não combina com o jogo? todos os mapas do vanguard são assim.
    Desbalanceamento que chega a ser ridiculo, as shotguns estão parecendo snipers nesse jogo.

    No words. This is one of the worst MP, that I ever played. Not only CoD games. Really. Gunplay doesnt work, matchmaking horrible, maps awfull and ugly as hell, recovery on the map in some modes you will die 30 times in a minute, because the game will throw you right next to the enemy.

    Forget that this mode would exist at all. The worst zombie mode of all CoD games. And the iconic and beloved weapons from previous episodes? They are not. Characters? They are not. Story? It's not.

    Just look at what kind of fools he gives 8 or more. Artificially created user accounts, which ideally "rates" on all platforms. I hope Meta intervenes and lubricates this solidly.     notice how the majority of the reviewers aren't talking about the hacker problems and just rip on battlefield, wonder if they are actual gamers, because the story is mediocre, and the multiplayer is a nightmare filled with hackers. in its current state the game is DOA, Activision didn't even bother releasing its anti cheat on day one knowing full well the game was already broken at Beta.

    Invisible walls everywhere, weird scripted scenes, weird and stupid enemy and team AI. Awfull 'boss' fights. The flying scenes are not really flying scenes, you almost have no control. Endlessly talking about 'project Phoenix', while you never get to know what it actually is... . Not worth the money.

    Worst COD I've ever bought. Uninspired campaign, horrid multiplayer with total trash maps, and a lame zombies mode. That was the final nail on the coffin so I would not buy COD anymore, and I'm glad I did it. I'll just play the campaigns when they arrive on Game Pass and call it the day.

    The most atrocious and outdated piece of camping crap i've ever played. Enemy players were spawning in front of me. "No sound" skill is literally ruining the way to telegraph the threat, great against campers, but both of those thing are cancerous.

    Lets talk multiplayer
    1.horrible spawns - this is the first game I played experience I spawn with 3 enemies behind me , I seen enemies spawn in front of me.
    2.dominations- like #1 it looks like sledgehammer don’t know how to program if enemies already spawn camping a base they should rotate your spawns to the other side giving you a chance to take other bases but no you can get spawn camp in an instant if your team mates can eliminate enemies soon enough for them get in position.
    3.explosions are like smoke grenades- I seen a lot of explosions and you can’t even see a thing because they last way too long so it’s annoying seeing this.
    4.Bad balancing teams- a level 1 all ready paired with prestige’s 3 really they all ready have good weapons with attachments and you’re not even playing with players with your level because you unlock the ability to edit load outs in level 4 so hey sledgehammer at least pair people with same level so they can level up first and unlock some things so they can defend themself with higher rank people. ( and im aware the battle pass has some weapons you can unlock that have good attachment but this is for people that don’t buy battle passes or can’t because whatever reasons but even that they should pair people with same ranks at least to get the hang of it.)
    5.new shipment- Horrible experience lets say spawn camp city look for videos you will see what I mean.
    6. Hackers- don’t need to say anymore this was the reason I stoped playing war zone in the first place.

    The champion hill mode - I should say its the one I felt more enjoyable becase here its competitive yes but I never gotten spawned camp or anything bad here for the moment But for me its good played in the alpha in the ps5 and still think is good.

    This is the last one I have and one of the most disappointing thing I seen I can even say even lazies thing and it is the operators - the operators you’ll get at random you need to complete challenges to unlock them that’s fine but the main issue I have is there are no opposing team of operators like heroes vs villains like other call of duty games this I mean because everyone can use the same operators if you have a separated operators sides then you can distinguish team vs enemies because if you run on to someone no many times you can see the red icon on the head to know if they are friendly or not, people can say look at the map to know but you know look away for a second it can be penalizing for the bad spawns.

    The reason I think sledgehammer are very lazy is because this people didn’t even made the engine so most of the work is already done they just did a reskin of a game so there is no excuse for everything I mentioned here (except for the #3 since its my opinion of that) they could have done a better job of the multiplayer since its the place where most players will be and honestly like I said they didn’t make an game engine so all that time they would had spend doing it would at least make the game fun but honestly it isn’t .

    So this is my opinion , I respect what others said as well but I disagree with many people thinking the game is 100% great when clearly it isn’t , even the game got a free week to play to try getting more players to the game but honestly with this issues I don’t recommend anyone buy this game from 50-70 dollars I don’t feel it wort that by the current state because this game is rushed beyond believe even after getting a head start with the engine .

    So this is my review thanks for reading , if you see the game free sometime play it every one has their own opinions , maybe some of the issues are fixed latter on except the operators since they where lazy enough to not create different sides, but hope of the others issues are fixed.    … Expand

    Game is already flooded with cheaters. Anti-cheat is non existent server side garbage that has been by-passed for 2 years in warzone mw2019. RICOCHET kernal based anti-cheat is suppose to launch during the Warzone Vanguard integration. I wouldn't touch this game until then unless planning to purchase on console.

    What do you get when you mix a camping infested S**t show with a generic want to be Battlefield? Call of Duty Vanguard. You will never know where you are getting shot from, Time to Kill is way to similar to hardcore mode. Sniping is trash. I want my money back.

Extremely disappointing with the zombies mode, the other 2 game modes are passable but still not excellent. An overall forgettable experience that blends into past CoD titles.

The game also forces you to only play certain play-styles, the only way you can compete in this game is if you wanna sweat and tryhard with smg's and bazookas.

    Then about the zombies, I never got to play zombies in this game but from what I've heard it's basically just a desperate attempt to copy Cold War's zombies, but even when given a simple task like copying and pasting something Sledgehammer has failed miserably if you wanna play modern cod zombies just buy Cold War or Black Ops 4 I guess.

    The 2 in 2/10 comes from Champion Hill being the only thing in multiplayer that actually feels unique and original to COD and that I have actually heard some good things about the campaign even tho I haven't played it.

    I hope next year's cod will be something worth pre-ordering. Oh and one last thing, the Atomic camo is the ugliest most piece of **** final camo in modern COD's, the only final camo that's uglier is probably COD: WW2's final camo.    … Expand

    Yes I know, it was only released a week ago, but still, can't developers take some more time to sort things out. Even the beta was not running properly and was full of bugs, why not scrap the deadline and work on it until everything is fixed. People that buy the game what to play a finished game, and not be testers.
    Unbalanced weapons, to be fair it is part of every game. But games like Call of Duty, where casuals and "Pros" meet, having unbalanced weapons is just straight up bad. Again, this will probably change over the course of the year.
    Maps, what is up with the maps? I have to say that the maps are, at least for me, the worst maps of the last few Call of Duties. They are super small, constantly winding, but camping and "pick off" spots on every straight. Run a couple of feet out of the spawn, shot dead by someone in a head-glitch or in a window, over and over. These are just the most basic map design ever. A path to your left, in the middle and to your right. To the left and right constant clashes on straights with people in head-glitches, behind cover, or in windows. In the middle a big fight with half of the enemy team.
    Spawns, they remind me of the infamous Modern Warfare 3 spawns, just bad. Running out of spawn at beginning of the round, getting killed, being spawned, being spawn-killed. Over and over again.
    For me personally, except for the career, this Call of Duty is a huge disappointment. While searching a casual lobby of TDM or Capture the Flag, it takes a good minute to find a lobby on Americas Region with an open NAT Type. Quite a few of people I was able to talk to In-Game were also quite disappointed.    … Expand

Modders are RAMPANT on MW and Warzone and they're doing absolutely nothing about it do you know why? Because they're making money off of you being cheated and they don't give a fk..They don't want to ban them because they are a customer base and they don't want them to quit buying their games or give them negative reviews. Why pay all that money just to get online to be cheated? The ONLY players at the top of the leader boards are modders so if you buy this game get ready to spend a whole lot more money on mods just to be able to compete. I see people modding on Vanguard and eventually they will let them take the game completely over. Another thing that I've seen on Warzone is them trying to influence small children and young adults into being ga by including all of the sick creep flags on the calling cards. That makes me want to vomit. Nobody with a brain wants to see that and they should be sued over it along with the fact that they're soliciting drug use to children as well. And you cant pick map you want to play so if you want to go specific map just search and cancel. Camos challenges often glitched and some of them are ridiculous like preciously 3 line rifle 100 bloodthirsties.(when i do it they changed to prone kills). Kill streaks like dogs kills fun as well as hitbox is ridiculous to kill. Tell the difference between friend and foe on hardcore is very challenging as all blurs together.
    Season 1 is not acceptable at all. Incendiary grenades break all the fun of game. Shipmas looks like devs try to make fun of customers all glitches into flares smoke and shaky piece of **** Battlepass never been so lazy before. you try to survive for you no deaths kills camo challenge, you get krampus in your ass. ( completely unnecessary addition). And they still ask for majority cosmetics 2400CP - 16$.

    Zombies : Great mobile app.

    Think all customers need to come together and start petitioning refund as devs clearly having a laugh with this product. For 60$ you need to put effort not copy paste maps and slight change of code + reskin. And I do understand that all teams are stretched across 3 games, but that is not customer concern. The ONLY selling point this game has besides carrying the franchise's name is new content for Warzone. Color us all surprised. This "game" more or less serves as a sandbox to level the new weapons you can use in Warzone.
    None of this should be a surprise, though. We all know Call of Duty's dev cycle is basically non-existent. How can they innovate with barely a year to develop the game? It's the same trap that's been killing Madden and Fifa for the past decade. But it makes hilarious amounts of money, so we will never get a Call of Duty that will fulfill it's potential. Easy, lazy money, because we all suck it all up year after year.
    What an absolute waste. With this dud of a game and Battlefield 2042 off to a less-than-stellar launch, Halo Infinite can't come soon enough. Maybe then we can all actually play a good FPS this year. Oh, did you also know it's Multiplayer is FREE?
    Please for the love of your wallet, save your $70 for something actually worthy of it. Buy some groceries. Get a fresh new pair of shoes, even. Just not this.    … Expand

    Full sbmm, 0 innovations, campagne hyper courte et skriptée de partout, le zombie en dessous de tout, des annimations et des menus totalement repompés, graphiquement désolé mais c'est laid pour du fin 2021, bref ya rien qui va.

    Call of Duty: Vanguard maintains the usual high level of production of the Call of Duty series, with an excellent cinematic narrative that allows players to have an audio-visual experience of being in the battlefield. The online content is also excellent, the new zombie mode has many good parts, but the thin content makes it difficult to retain players for a long time. Overall, it is still a popular FPS worth trying.

    With Vanguard, Call of Duty returns to the roots of the series: World War II. The solo campaign is entertaining but short, and the multiplayer is exactly as expected: full of action and adrenalin. However, the few novelties are not spectacular enough to lift it above mediocrity.
