    For me this is one of The best cod games in history. Graphics are stunning and game runs really smoothly. Multiplayer seems great so far and after playing through whole campaign I can say it was definitely better than blackout from bo4. So for me this is really solid cod game.

    - Gun-play is incredibly smooth and satisfying. Best feeling shooter ive played... maybe ever. - Multiplayer feels up - to - date without losing that special mix that makes cod, cod. This is not like black ops 4 or infinite warfare. This has the original formula with a few modern tweaks. - Game modes are incredibly diverse and never leave you wanting more. - Maps -- to me    Pros:

    - Gun-play is incredibly smooth and satisfying. Best feeling shooter ive played... maybe ever.

    - Game modes are incredibly diverse and never leave you wanting more.

    - Maps -- to me -- are the perfect size. Large enough to be able to use any weapon type on almost any map. Think back to mw2 - mw3 maps. These are the same style.

    - Overall, this game is call of duty. After a long break I've taken from the series, coming back to this is refreshing. W/o trying to chase nostalgia, this game has what I believe most of us were looking for from a new installment of cod.

    - No lootboxes... yet.

    Мне очень жаль тех людей которые не поняли задумки и сюжета т.к. ассоциировали себя с "людьми Баркова" из игры. Специально для вас, в Русской версии игры их переименовали, но видимо этого не достаточно. В CoD MW2 были плохие Американцы, тут есть плохие Русские, в следующей будут плохие Китайцы, но игра-то не об этом. В остальном графоний, звук, погружение - отлично, все как и раньше. В целом, я отлично провел 7 часов за прохождением этой игры. Рекомендую, если истина "нет хорошего или плохого, а только то как мы к этому относимся" для вас уже открылась.    … Expand

    love this game so far. Runs perfect on my Ryzen 7 2700 and RTX 2070 on max details. Campain was awesome, even with all the shots against Russia. But people should understand that this doesn't reflect the real world. Multiplayer is great so far, but the weapon unlocks are a bit hard to collect.

It was incredible. Extremely entertaining, the people giving bad reviews can’t see it for what it is. A game. So what if the Russians are really evil in the game. It is just a game.     Campaign is great. Awesome narrative. The cutscenes are amazingly life-like. Looking forward to when the game itself can have such life-like characters.

    Ignore the review bombs. This is classic COD. Fast-paced, hard-hitting terrorist-killing Modern Warfare. Crossplay lets you play with friends on every platform. Ground War is a take on Battlefield that works pretty well. All the standard multiplayer modes are here with tons of weapons and tons of progression for every character, ability, loadout, weapon, etc. The campaign is shock and aweIgnore the review bombs. This is classic COD. Fast-paced, hard-hitting terrorist-killing Modern Warfare. Crossplay lets you play with friends on every platform. Ground War is a take on Battlefield that works pretty well. Okay so there's a lot of talk about the demonizing of Russian soldiers, first off they're not Russian soldiers, they are an extremist mercenary group led by a rogue general. Secondly they are not the only ones in the campaign that are shed in a bad light and the game is not as black and white as people make it out to be. Thirdly the co op mode goes into more detail on the campaign and you can see a different perspective. lastly, Modern Warfare inst a game that always makes Russians seem like the bad guys. remember shepherd? yeah he was an american who betrayed his country and this was in a *modern warfare* game. (I know i said lastly but i wanna talk about the multiplayer) it is fun as f**k! honestly one of the best cod experiences in a long while, the time to kill actually adds a level of realism and makes you think much like the old hardcore modes of black ops and the amount of content is amazing, the maps are fun, and ground war reminded me of WaW and i hope they continue experimenting with adding vehicles to CoD games.… Expand

    The game isn't perfect but i do think its the best cod in awhile multiplayer is fun with good gun play but the maps are not amazing the spawns are SO bad and make camping easy but i feel like that doesn't ruin the game as of now no loot boxes or anything p2w is in the game the 2v2 mode is refreshing and fun the campaign is ok its short.     Game was awesome. Very good soft Reboot. But single player was controversial. Russians in this game looks like hard villains and this is not much wrong. I am russian but i don't want hate this game because it's comeback to good road for COD series. New gamemods looks awesome, and i finaly buing COD instead of BF. thank you Infinity ward but in next game we want to see plot without: BaDGame was awesome. Very good soft Reboot.     Folks, this game is a fictional one. Reviewers should not be doing political blackmailing on a video game. A video game that is fictional and has no obligation to stick wholly to the actual event in term of what happened. The game is good, pretty decent multiplayer and the campaign was entertaining and interesting. Should be a game that CoD fans will like, and average gamers will also enjoy it.

But let me tell you something , i haven't seen more stupid and meaningless death then the one Activision did to Alex. I mean... Damn... Really? They killed Barkov and everyone else, but they can't wait a bit to Alex can get out(or help him) and only then blow up everything? Scenarists wrote this only because they think this is the only way to impress us or what? ... Oh i get it, its a gray-gray morale game and there can be no happy ending in here... Nice, nice. Cool logic. Ok. But the rest of the game was good: cool grafic disign, sound, interesting missions, and i liked new multiplayer. And hey, do you remember 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi of Michael Bay? Mission with the rescue of ambassador, combat was practically 1:1 to how it was in film, and it was cool.… Expand

    You know you're doing something right if the russian troll farms have been sicced on you. Campaign is exceptional if a bit short. I'm really loving the move towards Rainbow Six style close quarters tactical realism, even if it is in a "lite" form. The gunplay, weapon handling, movement etc. all feel really fluid & polished.

    This game is amazing! Campaign is just gorgeous with nice story. The spec ops are very challenging and require good cooperation in order to complete. And multiplayer ! It is by far the best fps multiplayer I have ever played and I've been playing call of duty since cod 4. This is the greatest comeback the game history.

    The game is awesome. I dont know why, users rate the game so bad. You cant say the game is bad cause of the fictionaly Charakters and Lands. Its important that the gamemechanics work, and that is really perfect. The campain really good and the multiplayer like the others.

    I'm not a huge CoD fan. The last few titles I've picked up almost begrudgingly, just so I could have a bash at zombies with my mates.
    The wall-running, double-jumping, acid-trip visuals and almost chaotic twitch-response gaming wore thin on me fast.
    But there's something different about this latest installment. It's been stripped back, simplified and in my subjective experience, almost    I'm not a huge CoD fan. The last few titles I've picked up almost begrudgingly, just so I could have a bash at zombies with my mates.
    The wall-running, double-jumping, acid-trip visuals and almost chaotic twitch-response gaming wore thin on me fast.

    But there's something different about this latest installment.
    It's been stripped back, simplified and in my subjective experience, almost perfected.

    Regarding the multiplayer specifically, the game demands a more considered, tactical approach to any encounter due to the reduced TTK.

    But instead of it feeling like I'm dying instantly from god-knows-where, the adjustment works in my favour seemingly as I'm putting enemies down first time far more often :)

    CoD used to be a dirty word for me.. but this is this most fun I've had in a multiplayer shooter on PC since BF4.    … Expand

Don't like campers? Play the game-mode that only has Rust, Shipment, and Shoothouse. Those are all great maps and no one camps. I have really only played that and its been a blast.     This is by far the best first person shooter since Siege. In fact, I would say with some bug tweaks and further enhancement, this is Siege on steroids. I have played more hours on this game than anything else in the    First off...I loathe Activision as much as the next person.     This is by far the best first person shooter since Siege. In fact, I would say with some bug tweaks and further enhancement, this is Siege on steroids. I have played more hours on this game than anything else in the past 12 months. The graphics are amazing with ray tracing on 2070 and the sound is amazingly immersive. Multi, coop, and single are all fantastic.

    As far as negative..very few: 1. Shotguns are OP (hopefully fixed) 2. Friends and family with various AMD cards keep crashing 3. Updating of graphics takes for ever..you'll see what I mean.

    I realize that the story line may offend many. But, this just in...there is no group outside tree-huggers, eco-terrorists, vegans, and clowns, that have not been used, abused and stereotyped in COD games. The list of enemies spans every continent and business as well as dirty Black Ops themselves. So, suggest taking a chill pill and enjoying the game. Let's hope the next iteration includes eco-terrorists and clowns...    … Expand

I was hesitant because I don't like the frenetic run and gun style that the last few games seemed to have embraced. I was intrigued by WWII but not enough to warrant a purchase. The last CoD game I really enjoyed was Black Ops.

    To me    Let me start by saying that I haven't played a Call of Duty game consistently, (beat the campaign and played several hours of MP), since Black Ops II. I was hesitant because I don't like the frenetic run and gun style that the last few games seemed to have embraced. I was intrigued by WWII but not enough to warrant a purchase. The last CoD game I really enjoyed was Black Ops.

    To me this game removes a lot of the fluff an unnecessary extras in favor of a great single player campaign and a return to more tactical multiplayer. To me, this game feels like Black Ops and it's a step in the right direction. I don't have the time to devote to gaming like I had 6 years ago but I've still found ways to be successful in all of the different game modes in MP.

    TL;DR
    If you enjoyed Black Ops, chances are you'll enjoy this game too, a return to form for the series!    … Expand

    Great campaign that re-uses favorite mechanics and incorporates new unique mechanics that enhance the overall gameplay. Solid 9/10 Campaign in my books, but I'd give a 7/10 for the multiplayer for its poor map design, camp-friendly gameplay, and bad meta (as of now there are only multiple viable guns, m4, kilo, m13, mp7, shotguns)

    Its alright, its not incredibly by any means, but its a nice slow down and interesting pace. Some of the game modes are not for me, and that's fine, but there are many welcome additions.

    Game is really good. Any bad scores are because story of game is about bad Russians. But in every other aspect of the game, new mw is awesome. For real Russian people should stop hate game cause its offensive to their country. Its war :D Everybody is killing everybody.

    Fantastic game, great fun multiplayer and ok story.

    People do realize that this is a game and nothing political? Rating a game 0 because your a special snowflake which thinks the world rotates around your personal opinions, pathetic.

    Few bugs need fixing in multiplayer, else everything is great!

    Solid throwback to the days of MW and MW2.

    People as so butthurt over the Russians being bad guys. This game has its issues, but for so many people to rate it so low, its just stupid. This is a SOLID game. It's far better than Blackops7-no-content-experience.
    If you can get over how much you LOVE mother russia, this is an excellent game.

    It has been a long time since I enjoyed a single player campaign mode in COD. Although short, this was what I have been searching for in a COD game for too long. Definitely worth getting for the campaign alone.

    Multiplayer is fun, even though I think there is still a lot of work to be done on the crossplay part of things.     The campaign is great! Multiplayer is the same old CoD experience nothing really new. Warzone is super great and it's cross platform. The game file is HUUUUGE like....the biggliest huge ever.

    Firstly I would like to say that I hate supporting Activision and Blizzard because of recent events but not enough to not play the game and I still want to support Infinity ward.

    With that aside id like to say that this game feels like a really solid game and it has the potential to pull call of duty back into main stream. it has great mechanics that make call of duty what it is and infinity ward did great with it. It has great customisation and they’re heading in the right direction with the complexity of gun attachments, allowing cross play and giving the community game modes they want like ground war and gunfight. Obviously theres things wrong with the game but some of the community are basically saying its unplayable atm which is complete bs. Ive been playing league for the last 2 years so ive had no experience with aim, etc and im only lvl 24.... yet i use the mp5 and have a positive kd and finish top of the leaderboard a lot. Maybe im just lucky or whatever but it feels like the majority of the people saying its unplayable and too hard are just not good at COD Or cant adapt well. Like r u used to call of duty???? Theres always a*ds things killing u ,thats call of duty , you have to learn how to play against it. Obviously there are things that need to be patched, 725 range change, fix claymores, some spawns need changes, mini map changed back too normal and a slight m4 nerf. Why are we so focused on this though? Activision finally give us a good call of duty and all this subreddit is is complaining and complaining. Like yeah the devs need to hear whats wrong rn, BUT WHY ARENT WE CELEBRATING???? Finally we have a COD the community wants and the pc support and crossplay is great since a lot of us have grown up and moved to pc. One thing I would really like to see is a ranked becoming more popular in COD. League has had such success because of esports. COD has a massive fanbase so activision should really push esports and twitch. My only major problem ive had is that my game has been lagging ( I have a gtx 1070, easily should run COD)ive had to turn all setting to low and go into my computer properties to help more with the lag. How the f*ck does a ps4 run a game better than a computer with a gtx 1070 intel-i5 8th gen cpu and an ssd its bu11sh1t i cant even use my 144hz moniter cos it crashed when i tried to use it at 144hz. If any of u on pc can help that would be much appreciated.

    Dopo diversi capitoli sotto tono finalmente si ritorna alla guerra moderna senza jetpack e senza armi    Finalmente la saga di Call of Duty si riprende alla grande e ritorna in prima linea con una campagna degna di essere chiamata tale e un multiplayer APPAGANTE come mai prima d'ora.
    Mappe ben strutturate e belle esteticamente, armi ben bilanciate e feedback delle sparatorie davvero unico!
    Dopo diversi capitoli sotto tono finalmente si ritorna alla guerra moderna senza jetpack e senza armi futuristiche o "antiche" della prima/seconda guerra mondiale.
    A migliorare il tutto è l'aggiunta di DLC totalmente gratuiti. Quindi mappe gratis aggiunte periodicamente. Sto facendo questa recensione a distanza di 7 mesi e vi posso confermare che sono pienamente soddisfatto delle mappe implementate. (unica nota negativa è il pass stagionale a mio avviso..ma è comunque opzionale e oltre a dare skin estetiche dà anche dei progetti che apportano modifiche alle armi standard, ma comunque niente di troppo peso).
    Sta di fatto che non provavo così tanto piacere nel giocare un Call of Duty dai tempi di Black ops. Veramente un bel lavoro da parte degli sviluppatori!!!    … Expand

    Very solid campaign I actually enjoyed slowed pace and lot of stealthy missions. I kinda dislike few of desert ops. Very serious camping, without stupid jokes or fortnite kids playing in warfare. Nice and pleasant experience from the start to finish.

    Very realistic game! Russia is portrayed as a cruel enemy of the world just like in real life. Great graphics, awesome gameplay/gunplay. One of the best shooters in a long time.

    I don't give a **** about multiplayer, ie for me the game is amazing, perfect graphics, and great realism/violence. Probably the most realistic COD there is, it has a mission in a house at night it is so perfect it looks real

    THIS GAME IS JUST NOT WORTH A 10 BECAUSE I STRESSED A LOT WITH THIS GAME CLOSING ITSELF. HAD POTENTIAL

    The campaign for this game is simply fantastic. Beautiful graphics, story, and characters with actual depth made this a fantastic game.
