    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 benim için keyifli bir devam oyunuydu. Hikayeyi anlatarak başlayayım. Zakhaev'in ölümünden sonra tekrar aşırı milliyetçiler yönetimi ele geçirir ve Yeni Rusya kurulur. Imran Zakhaev bir halk kahramanı ilan edilir ve heykeli dikilir. Yeni Rusya'nın lideri aşırı milliyetçi partinin yeni genel başkanı olan Boris Vorsehvsky olur. Ancak Boris Vorshevsky, aşırı milliyetçi partinin şiddet dolu geçmişini geride bırakarak imajını düzeltmek ve Yeni Rusya'nın meşru yöneticisi olmak için, sınır tanımaz bir Batı düşmanlığı olan ve şiddet eğilimli biri olan Vladimir Makarov'u partiden ihraç eder. Çünkü Zakhaev döneminden itibaren sivrilmeye başlayan Vladimir Makarov, Zakhaev'in intikamını almaktan vazgeçmeyerek şiddet eylemlerine devam etmiştir. Partinin silahlı kanadı Vladimir Makarov'un liderliğinde varlığını korur. Aşırı milliyetçi tehdidin yeni adı olarak sivrilen Vladimir Makarov'a karşı, daha önce Khaled Al-Asad'ı yakalamak için düzenlediği operasyonda nükleer bomba patlamasıyla otuz bin adamını kaybeden General Shepherd tarafından "Task Force 141" adında özel bir ekip oluşturulur. Ekibin başına John "Soap" MacTavish getirilir. Shepherd, Afganistan'da üstün başarı sergileyen Er Joseph Allen'ı ekibe dahil eder. Shepherd, Allen'ın kimliğini değiştirerek "Alexei Borodin" adıyla Makarov'un ekibine muhbir olarak gönderir. Böylelikle Makarov'un yaptıklarından haberdar olmayı hedefler. Makarov, Allen'ın da içinde bulunduğu bir ekip ile "Zakhaev Uluslararası Havaalanı"na Amerikan yapımı silahlarla saldırı düzenler. Makarov'un amacı Amerikan yapımı silahlar kullanarak bu saldırının dünya kamuoyunda Amerika tarafından düzenlendiği algısını oluşturmak ve iki ülke arasında savaş çıkartmaktır. En başından beri Allen'ın kim olduğunu bilen Makarov havaalanından ayrılacakları sırada onu vurarak cesedini oraya bırakır ve Rus yetkililerin onu bulduğunda şüpheye yer bırakmayacak şekilde bu katliamın Amerikalılar olarak tarafından düzenlendiğinin düşünülmesini ister. Gerçekten de planladığı gibi olur ve tüm dünya katliamı Amerika'nın düzenlediğine inanır. Bundan sonra ekip, ilk oyundan tanıdığımız Yüzbaşı Price'ı kurtarmak için bir hapishaneye baskın düzenler ve Price kurtarılır. Savaşın gidişatına etki eden Task Force 141, Shepherd'ın emriyle Makarov'u yakalamak için plan yapar. "Ghost" ve "Roach" Makarov'un saklanabileceği muhtemel yerlerden birine operasyon düzenlerken, "Price" ve "Soap" ise Afganistan'daki eski bir hava üssüne saldırır. Ghost ve Roach onun bilgisayarında yer alan bütün bilgileri kopyalamayı başarır. Shepherd ekibi karşılamak için bizzat adamlarıyla birlikte çatışmanın ortasına gelir. Bilgilerin kopyalandığı diski aldıktan sonra Shepherd, Roach ve Ghost'u öldürür ve oradan helikopterle uzaklaşır. Shepherd'in amacı Task Force 141'i ortadan kaldırarak kendisini bir savaş kahramanı haline getirmektir. Tüm bu olanlardan sonra Price, telsizden Makarov'a ulaşarak onun yerini öğrenir. Botla onu kovaladıktan sonra Price, Shepherd'ın helikopterini düşürür. Düşen helikopterden sağ kurtulan Shepherd, önce Soap'u bıçaklar ardından Price'I etkisiz hale getirmeye çalışır. Tam bu sırada Soap karnındaki bıçağı çıkartarak Shepherd'ın gözüne fırlatır ve Shepherd ölür. Ardından Price, Nikolai'ın helikopterine bindirmek için Soap'u ayağa kaldırır, Nikolai güvenli bir yer bildiğini söyler ve oyunun hikayesi burada sonlanır. Ben oyunun hikayesini, hikaye sunumunu ve karakterleri genel olarak beğendim, bu tür bir oyun için yeterli bir hikayesi var. Fakat oyunun hikayesi çok kısa, 4-5 saatte bitirilebiliyor. Daha uzun bir hikayeye sahip olsa daha iyi olabilirdi. Oynanış olarak oyun atmosfer konusunda oldukça başarılı. Bölümlerdeki savaş atmosferi başarılı bir şekilde tasarlanmış ve oyuncuya iyi bir hissiyat veriyor. Onun dışında oyun oynanış olarak ilk oyun ile neredeyse aynı, yeni bir şey yok. Vuruş hissiyatı ve animasyonlar ilk oyunun aynısı. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2'nin oynanış konusunda yenilikçi bir oyun olmadığını rahatlıkla söyleyebilirim. Grafik konusunda oyun iyi iş çıkartmış, ben oyunun Campaign Remastered sürümünü oynadım ve o sürümün grafikleri çok güzel görünüyordu, internetteki videolardan gördüğüm kadarıyla oyunun normal sürümünün grafikleri de 2009 yılında çıkmış bir oyun için gayet yeterli. Optimizasyon olarak da oyun başarılı sayılır, 1080p en yüksek ayarlarda oyunu 60 FPS'e kilitledim ve nadiren düşmeler de olsa genel olarak 60 FPS'te keyif alarak oyunu oynadım. Oyunu oynarken herhangi bir hata ile karşılaşmadım, oyun gayet stabil. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 keyifli bir Birinci Şahıs Nişancı-Aksiyon oyunu, herkese tavsiye ederim.… Expand

    Il migliore della saga in assoluto, incazzature e oggetti lanciabili inclusi nel pacchetto. Trama alla classica, ma ben realizzata con una soundtrack magnifica. Multiplayer con le mappe migliori di sempre.

    BEFORE YOU READ: I was never into multiplayer so i cant really compare it to others resulting in my review will being solely on the story line.

    The best CoD by far. It contains a solid story line, good mechanics and great pacing *from start to finish*. I also adored that it was different than other RPGs. On the other hand it felt too simple.     Singleplayer is good, as expected from cod games. Characters and presentation is also great.

    Gameplay is same as 4mw and 4mw had great gameplay so yeah.

    I don't know why the game has low ratings, because of the graphics? Still, MW2 is great. Soundtrack, story, game design, gameplay. Even that legendary scene where Ghost and Roach are killed makes you cry.

    The OG of many an individuals'' adolescence, this game is what brought me into the wonderful world of FPS multiplayer games. Despite its flaws, I still hold it in high regard.

    Some would describe this game as the peak of COD both story wise and multiplayer and i agree with both of those the fun i had in this game can only be matched by BO2

    People may say whatever they want, but I like this COD game. At least it doesn't feel like s%it like for example COD Ghosts.

    This game is a legend, it seems like every respected gamer played it. Legend characters, but the script is a placeholder.

    The SP was absolutely great. No doubt about it. I would give 9 for this, but admittedly theres just too much features deleted when compared to the original. The bots in single player gave me a real headache. Enemys shoot through smokes and autoaim always to the player first. Then the buddies... sometimes it feels like they just act what they're should be. They miss the target wich is The SP was absolutely great. No doubt about it.     Would Give it a nine if it had dedicated servers, the multiplayer is full unbalenced weapons and noobs that could be sorted with servers and admins. Other than that, it is a fantastic game, brilliant graphics and play, but COD 4 it aint if you are looking for some rewarding, competative multiplayer

    After reading all the reviews about the game, i was timid at trying but i already got it. Single player was like its predecessor but introduces the new equipment in multiplayer. While i have only played about half of it, it is a decent plot so far. Multiplayer is what i mainly bought the game for. IWnet is exactly like the console version of the game (at least cod4 ps3). IW not putting in Dedicated servers was a huge let down but, for me, IW net has not majorly failed me yet. Sparattic lag here and there but it hasn't had any major effects on my gaming experience. I enjoy multiplayer except for the occasional aim bots you happen to run into and make a good game only a few seconds which can be very frustrating. IWnet is the reason this game for a 7 out of 10, while it is a crappy replacement for dedicated servers, mw2 still delivers some quality game play experiences that cod4 had.… Expand

    CoD MW2 for PC : The single player looks awesome, too bad you need to play it 3 times before you achieve 100% (maybe it's not like this when you start with Veteran, but i started with regular and went up afterwards) and it's a bit short. The multiplayer is nice too, the maps look ok, and the mapsizes vary. Plenty of guns and attachments. The sucky parts though are IWNet ( no servers( but using the network of players(which gives one hell of an amount of lagg(sometimes))), hackers (though i haven't encountered so many), no chatting possibility while waiting for the other map ( takes 30-60 secs) and the game matches only last 10 mins(sometimes that's ok, but most of the time you really want it to be adjustable to 15mins or even 30 mins) If i have to split the multi- and single player, i'd give single: 4/5 (shortness) multi: 3/5 (bad lounge and crappy servers).… Expand

    It was a good game at first, but when you looked back at it most of it wasn't re-playable, nothing to re-do in the campaign and not to mention was very short compared to some of the other games I have played. The three second melee thing, I don't know what the hell IW thought about this when it came into head, but it's horrible! Every corner you take you fire your weapon but the lag is just so horrible do to no dedicated servers, they always kill you with melee. Even my self once I got a 12 kill steak !WITH JUST MELEE! I know that there is no such thing as a perfect melee system but this one is just god awful! The Spec. Ops. mod if fun to play with friends or family which I have done very many times and it's very entertaining but some of the missions or impossible but still fun. But don't get me wrong most of the hackers/glitchers are gone since the holidays and the multilayer can still be very fun when you play with friends and CO-OP is always a option on campaign. Just the game has some serious problems.… Expand

    Ok Just tested COD MW2 on my 14 years old brother PC , and All what i can say is CALL OF DUTY Moedern warfare 2 is a INCOMPLETED GAME , i was 1st been shoked with the weapons 3D modelisation and textures , just before the practice when they ask you to keep a weapon , ive looked for a M4 and i fond a JOY look weapon , then piked up the what should be a M4 , and the missing Peak control to Ok Just tested COD MW2 on my 14 years old brother PC , and All what i can say is CALL OF DUTY Moedern warfare 2 is a INCOMPLETED GAME , i was 1st been shoked with the weapons 3D modelisation and textures , just before the practice when they ask you to keep a weapon , ive looked for a M4 and i fond a JOY look weapon , then piked up the what should be a M4 , and the missing Peak control to shoot while covering , its missing on conrols configiration also E bouton is asigned to Action so its realy not programed "IW !!!!?", bringing us back to countre strike CS game play without peaks and shoot ,also the grenade line efect is horible and break simulation ambiance , and and come the bigest problem on MW2 the NO DEDICATED SERVER5S , i dont i you noticed yes but there is no COD MW2 fan site yet and no clans , as expected IW stoped Mooding and no dedicated servers , thats blowed up milions of Hard core gamers , But hope IW work on Big patch for PC version to Corect 1 - weapon texture 2 - bring back legacy controls 3 - taking out grenade efects , its not relalistic 4 - Squad blocking doors , many time 5 - and bring Back Dedicated servers i f they dont fix the game will dead and gamers will no more trust in IW so the end of the series .… Expand

    The sp mission rates a 8 for eye-candy but the "plot" is bone-headedly stupid. The icing on the cake are the "stirring" quotes from Kennedy, Eisenhower, and ... Dick Cheney?? I literally laughed out loud. This is a $20 mission pack that sells for $60. Life is too busy for mp - sounds like that's just as well from other reviews. But this vote is based on sp only.     The PC version of Modern Warfare 2 is identical to the console versions in almost every way, and that's actually the problem. PC gamers have a certain expectation for online shooters. Removing dedicated server and user mod support from a game that's already $10 more than its predecessor seriously hinders the long term appeal for me.

    It looks better, it plays better, the story is more intense and the multiplayer is more inviting. And with the inclusion of SpecOps, the longevity of this game is sure to have increased as well.
