    +- ok campaign, the worst everything (just as usual Treyarch). They can't make games, why the **** do morons from Activion task them so..? Huge step down from last year's WM reboot. Gunplay is just proper plastic **** ttk is massive **** also, maps are the worst (as usual Treyach). Only **** like Black Ops frach.

    The pc optimization is complete garbage. The graphics you get for the system it takes to run the game even at 1440p is horrible. I’m using a 3090 at 3440x1440 and consistently drop below 60 fps. Glad I got this game for free otherwise I’d be REALLY pissed off. Just a reminder of why I don’t buy these garbage games anymore.

    Game looks good. Pros stop there. This terrible cash grab of a game is just a big meme. And you paid $60 for it. Server tick rates and pings are a joke. And the trolls that play this trash can of a game are not less funny. Call of Duty needs to take their shooter serious or just stop pumping garbage out of their studios. We NEED a solid competitor to put this dead cow to pasture....

    The visibility on multiplayer on absolutely terrible to the point where the game is difficult to play. Also, snipers are way too strong. one shot to the foot kills in this game when nothing but a head shot should be a one hit kill. There are a LARGE, LARGE amount of bugs multiple weeks into the game being released in multiplayer and zombies. Это абсолютный провал: цветокор на некоторых картах заставляет глаза слезится, умирать когда ты запрыгнул за стену будет выбешивать не хуже чем сраные дропшотеры, МР5, как всегда, валит, обесценивая абсолютно все пушки, кроме снайперок, необходимость выдрачивать уровень чтобы получить доступ к оружию и перкам -Игра за 2к руб имеет баланс хуже чем free-to-play игры построенные на донате. Это абсолютный провал: цветокор на некоторых картах заставляет глаза слезится, умирать когда ты запрыгнул за стену будет выбешивать не хуже чем сраные дропшотеры, МР5, как всегда, валит, обесценивая абсолютно все пушки, кроме снайперок, необходимость выдрачивать уровень чтобы получить доступ к оружию и перкам - это полный пиздец, особенно когда тебя с 1 уровнем и голыми стволами кидает против 40 уровня с фул вкачаными автоматом и снайперкой одновременно, благодаря джокеру который откровается на 20 уровне, также будьте готовы к тому что вас будут убивать через полсекунды после респавна - временной уязвимости нет, а игра может легко заспавнить тебя в самой гуще боя. Сетевая часть абсолютный неиграбельный КАЛ, который будет уничтожать твои нервы. Хоть сюжетная кампания и неплоха, но 4-5 часов геймплея не стоят 2800 руб а онлайн и гроша ломаного не стоит, особенно по сравнению с MW 2019. Игра полный мусор - воплощение слова деградация… Expand

    The gun attachments are lazy and mostly useless copy pastes with no thought or difference put into the configurations.

    The gunplay and shooting mechanics feel dated and hit registry feels like a lottery.

    The game is riddled with bugs from launch that are not being fixed yet they continue to push out updates for stuff that makes them money.

    The integration with Warzone is a waste of time, who knows why they bothered adding it to the title screen, launching to the join Warzone from this takes so long you might as well put the kettle on.

    My 1 point for this game goes to the marketing team that persuaded me to buy this steaming pile of turd.    … Expand

    The Beta ran fine. I had a lot of fun with the exception of the terrible maps with spawn killing that you never seem to learn from. Had a blast on Zombies. The final release ran pretty well. Suddenly overtime it started running like trash. I tried everything to fix it, but the game officially runs like trash on my computer for no reason. I feel like I was lured in and then **** over. **** you.

    Where to start.. this game is clearly unfinished as it's become a reoccurrence year after year. Problem you have with call of duty is that the casual audience which makes up majority of the market do not care about the game, whereas people who care about call of duty, can never get their voices heard. Activision has done a great job at removing any sense of competitive integrity. This game is a complete mess, the developers are just corporate puppets to the shareholders. What a shame.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Campaign-
    The campaign had a couple of fun and interesting missions, just not enough to really get the user submerged within the story. Woods and Mason seem to barely remember anything that had previously happened and their interactions with Hudson and each other made them seem that they met about 2 weeks ago rather then the years of operations experience that they wouldve had. Dialogue was fake and sparse, and voice acting didnt live up to the expectations that were created by leaving James C Burns out of the picture. Story was an utter let down after the measly 2.5 hr campaign storyline.

    Multiplayer-
    I'm giving this game a 0. Its a complete step back when compared to MW 2019. Animations are from BO4 and 2010 BO1. Gunsmith is a cheap and lazy knockoff of MW2019. Least amount of content released upon launch in COD history. Servers are poor and dated back to B02 days. Gunfights seem rng luck at best. Deadsilence is back and completely decimates anyone used to MW deadsilence. Sleight of hand is not within the game so you have to grind to max weapon level to unlock the magazine that includes improved weapon reload speeds. First field upgrade that you're given is a proximity mine................WHY THE F#*%$!!!!!!!! T3arc did well in removing claymores from MP but they left a proximity mine as a field upgrade. Graphics are clear but there is a serious step back with the treyarc filter as compared to MW. Operators are color bleached with the environment so its very difficult to see enemies (they knew this because there are flashlight weapon attachments). Head-glitching and corner camping are at an all time high within MP. So to all those people that said Treyarc doesn't promote camping, F#*(K off.    … Expand

    SBMM ruins yet another title. When will developers learn it's not what the people want. In future I'll refrain from buying call of duty games until I hear SBMM is gone.

    El multijugador es lo único que me interesa de los COD, el mismo tiene mucho input lag al apuntar. El SBMM, el diseño de los mapas, los micrófonos de campo y el sonido hacen que el juego sea extremadamente camper (casi como battlefield 5).
    Hay muchas rachas en la segunda parte de los juegos(cambio de bandos) pues cualquiera las puede sacar

    This would be worth £15 as a stand alone game, but because of the COD model, every sub-par installment is a genuine waste of time and money as the game is irrelevant when the next installment is released. Honestly, this is now obscene.

    Zombies is uninspiring and flat.

    If you want more of the same, with the same pitfalls, go for it.

    Avoid if remotely skeptical.

The auto aim is ridiculous for controller player they have aim bot. This is incredible frustrating to get killed by as you know the opponent has no skill. This coupled with unbalanced weapons such as the spaz12 shotgun and the one burst tactical riffles. This lead to engagement where you lose simply because you have the wrong gun, not by skill difference or outplay potential.

    Die Maschine is a good map incorporating parts of Nact der Undertoten from previous Cods, however after already investing 75+ hours on one map it is starting to get boring, I have Completed the Easter Egg multiple times as well as reached round 58 as my personal best. ADD MORE MAPS ZOMBIES AND MULTIPLAYER TREYARK!

    2/10 purely from lack of content at launch( zombies content is good )

    - SBMM
    - Connectivity issues (especially in zombie mode)
    - Weapon balance problems
    - less content like maps and unlockables.

    It feels unfinished and boring...

    Game is bad and unfinished,zombies is not even a COD zombies anymore Campaign is 4 hours,multiplayer is soo unbalanced and campy like modern warfware, got SBMM(skill based matchmaking) got 6 multiplayer and 1 zombies map and it costs 60€ this game is by far the worst COD i have ever played(and yes i played all of them) and the hitreg is **** then f2p games

    This game isn't worth a penny! I'm playing COD for years now and this one is the worst i've ever played. Weapons are super unbalanced, the spawnsystem is broken ( spawning in front of enemies, Not once.. no, multiple times! ). Buggy matchmaking, lost connections... Don't buy it

    This game is super laggy and it's all SBMM's fault, it's not well optimized for pc and it has a lack of content in every aspect. I tried to get a refund but they don't want to do it!!! IT'S NOT FAIR!!!! I'm pissed off!

    et la aussi une seule map proposé.. (plutot sympa , surtout le coté Ether), et un retour du Dead Ops
    de quoi bien resté sur notre faim

    enfin pour terminé.. pour un jeu initialement en vente a 60€ je trouve que Activision/Blizzard vas devoir ce remettre en question et trouvé des solutions s'ils ne veulent pas perdre des joueurs...    … Expand

Я довольно таки критично отношусь к таким обвинениям и до последнего верю в скилл людей, но на повторах в конце матча всё прекрасно видно. И ладно бы с ними боролись, но с каждым днем их больше и больше. Мой пердак можно использовать как центр какой-нибудь новой планеты.Это писец товарищи. В каждой сессии играет по 1-2 читака. Я довольно таки критично отношусь к таким обвинениям и до последнего верю в скилл людей, но на повторах в конце матча всё прекрасно видно. И ладно бы с ними боролись, но с каждым днем их больше и больше. Мой пердак можно использовать как центр какой-нибудь новой планеты.

    I would like to leave a legitimate review but I cant play the damn game. Every time I die the game crashes and I cant get a refund because the fact that I pre-ordered It and my beta playtime stop me refunding it.

    This game is trash. I can’t believe that the developers haven’t had any issues with this game as they trying it out. I can’t stand the players. It’s to far to be a call of duty title i hope they change it to nothing to call to.

So that’s one of the first major bugs.

    Then we have the party system. Playing with a friend from another platform is near to impossible. You can’t join one another’s party. You’ll always get an error code.

    In zombies, click create a class and you have 50% chance you will be stuck in that screen for the entire game. You won’t be able to go out it anymore and you’ll die...

    There are numerous other bugs in this game.
    I’d say, wait until they fixed this because this isn’t the experience you want    … Expand

    SBMM is **** broken, one time i'll be going pretty good, and the game after that I get stomped on by sweaty players. I understand SBMM is making Activision rich, but how it stands it is fluctuating way too much, making the half of the games I play unenjoyable. Campaign and zombies is pretty good, but you pay the 60 bucks primarily for the multiplayer.

    Multiplayer: far too many attachments on guns that change little to nothing, half the perks are useless and builds have no variety. The game has some of the worst maps in cod history, miami barely runs properly and is a giant open square with half the map being unused, satellite is a giant open field with 1 flank route that isn't covered by snipers, checkmate is a map to rival stonehaven for contender for worst map, it's a giant open warehouse with a small tube in the middle, it looks awful, plays awful and is an insult to level designers around the world.

    Zombies: Easily the weakest zombies experience to date, you start absolutely kitted out with a weapon of your choosing that can usually last you until you get the power on on any map, early rounds of zombies used to be some of the most tense, having to use a combination of a weak pistol with 3 mags and a knife to survive, now there's almost no tension in the hardest part of the game. As of writing this I have played about 20 hours of zombies and have died once, you are given so much hp, so much armour, so many outs with the field upgrades that the only danger is not killing all the zombies quick enough at extraction which leads to a hilarious cutscene of a zombie with a ****ing rocket launcher blowing up your escape helicopter.

    There are no characters anymore in zombies, there are operators, the publisher/developer's greed has lead them down a path of trying to pawn off different cosmetics to the point where now the story isn't one that we experience through the map and people we play as, but rather one we watch from afar through cutscenes and some of the most tedious unrewarding easter eggs. On top of this the maps seem to be aimed at the old zombies fans, the ones who liked simple maps like kino and der reise where you set up in 5 minutes and just spend ages training around an easy map, there's nothing for veterans, nothing for the fans who got invested in the zombies story and gameplay, there's nothing for the people who buy cod solely for zombies

    The wonder weapons are some of the dullest, navagating the pack a punch UI is worse than just dropping a weapon in and training for 5 seconds, playing for longer than an hour on a map will cause the framerate to drop to    … Expand

    This game is not an online competitive shooter, this game creates false emotions. The game uses all the dirty methods of leveling players. I don't need crossplay at all and in general, it's worse than cheaters. Gender pronouns in 80's, meaningless plot, ******* characters, a lot of historical inaccuracy... And the cherry on the top... The main character is ******* Stalin's son/grandson/LGBT/Transgender/SAS/CIA/KGB/Mossad/MI6/Stasi/Gestapo... What in the world is this ****?! It is nuts that they decided to do a game following this plot UNIRONICALLY, with the OBJECTIVE OF BEING A SERIOUS FPS. This game is a joke!     Worst story mode in CoD universe. Game mechanics are still good but story was worst part of the game.
    It took 6 hours to finish. I already tried to finish all multiple choices. I spent 60$..
    10$ per hour. It "must" be a joke! Please refund peoples money which is played in story mode.

    This is a little late but I think I have to say it.
    What the hell is going on with your engine that it needs so much power to run smoothly at 100fps? Sure my PC isn't the best and fastest but I'll be honest, when I play a Battlefield 2042 at 1080p and high settings, I easily get my 60 fps. With COD the Call of duty junk    I actually write reviews very rarely and even less for a game.

    Sure my PC isn't the best and fastest but I'll be honest, when I play a Battlefield 2042 at 1080p and high settings, I easily get my 60 fps. With COD the Call of duty junk engine you get your 60fps while standing but as soon as there is action the FPS number drops and the game suddenly only runs with 25/30 FPS.
    So the game is simply not playable for me and the money is thrown out the window. I hope that future games (after the current Modern Warfare) get a better engine and run smoother.    … Expand

    A pretty average fps, stuck within the terrible user interface that has become the modern warfare game center.

    Story was mediocre. Game mechanics are clunky and even worse in multiplayer.

    I tried to refund but it was too late. Don't waste your $ on this lazy cash grab.

    What feature, or lack thereof, would compel a Call of Duty fan to buy or skip a new entry at this point? It plays fine, and it’s the most recent one. That’s usually enough.

    Overall, I love the old-school feels of Black Ops in Cold War and I love the storyline. All of the modes are fun to play and offer a lot for old players and new players alike. It is fun to get back into the action with players from all consoles and on PC to make the action that much better with cross-play. There are some issues with multiplayer that will seemingly never go away but such is life for an online multiplayer game.

    The question of whether to pick up Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War on the PC is situational, despite it being a solid title. If you're the type of player who likes the campaigns that each entry brings forth, then you'll be fine with Cold War. The branching paths of the short campaign give it some replayability beyond simply increasing the difficulty. Fans of Zombies mode will also be fine, even though it suffers from having only one map (for now) and a PlayStation-exclusive mode that'll be unavailable on the PC for a year. Multiplayer fans are in more of a pickle. If you're tired of the maps in the prominently featured Modern Warfare but want traditional modes, then this is perfect, especially since the cross-play feature is going strong and there are people on both the last- and next-generation platforms ensuring the game gets a healthy shelf life. If you're primarily a Warzone player, you aren't going to bother with this one, since that free-to-play game is getting Cold War elements soon to keep it fresh.
