    The greatest Call of Duty game ever made in my opinion. The graphics and gameplay are mush more polished than that in COD1. The Russian missions are the best levels that Call of Duty franchise has ever created.

    This game is very iconic. The first FPS I finished when I was 10. The game is not much different from the first game, it's still a WWII game, but it has a better campaign and I feel nostalgic for it.

    Поиграл полчаса. Геймплейно эта игра - тупой тир, не представляющий из себя ничего особенного, ведь она устарела. Но я могу очень хорошо похвалить разрабов за то, что сделали шутер про 2 мировую, где герои - русские. а не американцы, которые не ввели почти никакого вклада. Особенно это удивительно видеть на фоне современной activision, которая делает игры, в которых русские - плохие. ЭтаПоиграл полчаса.     Incredible revolutianary FPS shooter, great story, incredible gameplay, decent graphics. What more can you want? This game is like call of duty 1 but improved in every field possbile. More gameplay, easier difficulty, difficulty modes, better story, better graphics. Activision really nailed this one cause it`s one of the best games I`ve ever played.

    Call of Duty 2 talvez no sea el mejor juego de la franquicia, pero sin duda es uno de los grandes títulos de la saga. La campaña tiene misiones variadas que nos otorgan distintos escenarios de la segunda guerra mundial y hay un gran catalogo de armas para elegir dependiendo de la nacion en la que estés jugando. La música acompaña muy bien los grandes momentos y no resulta molesta, suenaCall of Duty 2 talvez no sea el mejor juego de la franquicia, pero sin duda es uno de los grandes títulos de la saga. La campaña tiene misiones variadas que nos otorgan distintos escenarios de la segunda guerra mundial y hay un gran catalogo de armas para elegir dependiendo de la nacion en la que estés jugando. La música acompaña muy bien los grandes momentos y no resulta molesta, suena cuando es necesario y encaja bien con cada situación. Los efectos de sonido no me terminan de convencer, muchos son reciclados del primer cod pero eso no molesta mucho y en general son bastante realistas.
    Los gráficos no han envejecido tan mal y claramente se ve que mejoraron mucho con respecto al primer juego. Las armas se sienten bien, cada una se controla diferente y cada facción tiene sus armas características. Lamentablemente muchas veces parece que disparases balas de gomas, y los enemigos pueden resistir varios disparos antes de caer muertos. Con respecto al cod 1, este titulo podría considerarse mas fácil, principalmente por la implementación de la vida regenerativa. En cod 1 el hecho de tener que buscar botiquines para curarte era un gran problema y realmente era un gran reto superar ciertas misiones. sin duda es muy divertido y cualquier jugador podrá superar las misiones sin muchas complicaciones y actualmente casi cualquier pc puede correr este juego sin problemas.

    Conclusión: "Call of Duty 2" es un gran titulo que sin duda tenés que jugar y aunque ya tenga algunos años encima, no ha envejecido nada mal y sigue siendo divertido. La segunda guerra mundial esta muy bien representada a nivel histórico y es uno de los mejores juegos que se han hecho acerca de dicho conflicto. Totalmente recomendado    … Expand

    Transition from the boomer COD's to modern COD's (and this experement was successful). The graphics and effects still pleasing to the eye, directing is way better and much bigger than in the first game. Health regeneration mechanics makes gameplay more comfortable and enjoyable (don't need to look for those first aid kit anymore and save scumming). But Call of duty 2 doesn't become aTransition from the boomer COD's to modern COD's (and this experement was successful).     I would give it a 7.5 because some of the "difficulty" comes from enemies that 2 shot you on full health, that is when your screen isnt red. But really, its a great game, all the campaigns have its own feel and I dont hate any of the missions, well scripted.

    Para un fan de los juegos de la segunda guerra mundial era un pecado no jugar a este título, empezando ya 2021 me decidí a jugar a este vieja joya y este fue el resultado:

    Probablemente la mejor ambientación de un juego de la WWII, tanto de los escenarios, con las banderas Nazis que todavía en aquel 2005 los juegos no dudaban en poner, la banda sonora es perfecta de ambiente bélico    Para un fan de los juegos de la segunda guerra mundial era un pecado no jugar a este título, empezando ya 2021 me decidí a jugar a este vieja joya y este fue el resultado:

    Probablemente la mejor ambientación de un juego de la WWII, tanto de los escenarios, con las banderas Nazis que todavía en aquel 2005 los juegos no dudaban en poner, la banda sonora es perfecta de ambiente bélico impecable.

    La jugabilidad es fantástica incluso hoy en día, sorprenderá a más de uno como se sienten ciertas armas disparando a objetivos.

    El diseño de niveles no se queda atrás con un frenetismo que le pega muy bien y sin olvidarse que sigue siendo un COD.

    La campaña abarca desde 1941 hasta 1945 el principio y el fin de la guerra, se echa de menos unas misiones con el Eje y la captura de Berlín pero en este tipo de juegos era norma general y no lo tomo como algo negativo ya que las misiones te llenan lo suficiente.

    El juego tiene sus errores, una IA que podría mejorar bastante y se nota que pusieron más cariño en la campaña de los Americanos se ve bastante mejor que las demás, tienen un error "histórico" poniendo a la División Azul combatiendo en Normandía y no la ponen en ningún momento en la campaña Rusa que fue donde combatió.

    En definitiva un juego para los amantes de este género bélico que no podéis pasar por alto por muchos años que pasen.    … Expand

    Great shooter with interesting settings with the focus more outside of the boring west front. There is constant action and some funny elements.
    Technically this game is much better than the first one with much better graphics. Anyway dont forget to install Back 2 Fronts modification that improves the game a lot.

    The best Call Of Duty and World War 2 game that I've ever played! Very immersive game, the sound is loud and realistic. A long game, if compared with its predecessors. I recommend this game for all the fans of first person shooters, especially for those of the WW2.

    Call of Duty 2 is a gem from my childhood. It has a bit short, but still a great single-player campaign and an all-time classic multiplayer. I would say one of the best, if not the best CoD game on the market.

    Call of duty veterans! This is where atleast me and many other veterans started playing the game when the game was at its early stage and it had finaly improved its graphics and even gameplay over the first call of duty.
    The game has a well made Single player which is realy good since you are a Soldier just trying to survive the war and you go trough the RUSSIAN , BRITISH , and AMERICAN    Call of duty veterans! This is where atleast me and many other veterans started playing the game when the game was at its early stage and it had finaly improved its graphics and even gameplay over the first call of duty.
    The game has a well made Single player which is realy good since you are a Soldier just trying to survive the war and you go trough the RUSSIAN , BRITISH , and AMERICAN campaign which are different and impressive. Every map is a different experience all the time! It makes the game very very enjoyable and replayeble even after the 50th time!
    The gameplay is totaly improved and it feels much smoother than the original CoD which made me enjoy the game allot more than having frustating aiming which i sincerely hated in the original CoD.
    There are many guns and a few more added from the original and they are all fun shooting.

    The multiplayer is still alive! Steam may show that there's no one but trust me you will 100% find a server if your from the EU since there are many people playing the game! If you are a Balkan you will find a server with no problem where you will find your mates. Not saying that there are only Balkan servers there are ofcourse other servers which are in different lenguages.
    Multiplayer has like every cod the most famouse gamemodes like always so don't mind. But the game has some servers with zombies mod and other fun modes to just mess around with!

    The only issue you may have running this in windows 10 is that multiplayer may not work the fix I had was just waiting like 10 minutes for the blackscreen and it fixed it for me. If it doesn't then find some fixed and put the files that you have to put in the folder and try and wait like 10-15 mins again to see if it works. If you manage to get multiplayer running the second time you will have much less waiting for multiplayer so you don't have to wait 10-15 mins like the first time.    … Expand

    A great game based on WWII. This sequel improved every aspect of the previous game. The action and the plot go very well together, and the gamplay feels more polished. The D-Day is one of the best sequences of the game. One of the best CoD.

    This is my all time favorite Call of Duty game.On second place is cod 4 but this one is the best.Back hen i used to replay all the missions from either the soviets the british or the americans and also the mods for this game are also awesome.I just hope that they make a good ww2 game except cod ww2 that is just meh.

    I think is one of the best call of duty i ever played. The campaign is great and the multiplayer, not bad. The Graphics are so good for this year. Most games not have this graphics in 2007 (until Crysis). No doubt, one of the best games i ever played.

It is also a good game for people who can't afford games like Call of Duty black ops 3 or OVERWATCH WHICH COSTS $60 and I think the price of Call of Duty 2 is worth it and it costs $19.99. For people who are playing this game for the first time, play single player mode first and go to campaign with NORMAL difficulty because playing in beginner mode will be easy and will be probably boring. Frankly I think it is the most realistic world war 2 game because if you take Call of duty world at war for example, they kinda exaggerated too much because one of the cutscence says we "out numbered the Germans 10:1" and they are describing the Russians as "Super heroes. While on Call of Duty 2, in the battle of Stalingrad it is true that Russians fought on buildings and especially on pipes. Also the Russians are not that strong because they use TNT's unlike on call of duty world at war they use BM-14's. I'm not saying that I hate call of duty world at war but I'm giving a comparison and not all games are perfect. The problem on Call of Duty 2 is that the multiplayer mode seems to be depleting but overall Call of Duty 2 is a great game.… Expand

    After playing CoD2 i was stunned. Just a awesome game! After i watched Band of Brothers i found so many similarities, that i was a bit shocked of cod. but overall its a wonderful game with great atmosphere! its simple and easy to learn. love it.

    Continuation of the first game, Call of Duty, comes with many bonuses and many improvements over first. It is one of the best games played. Honestly, not missing anything.

    Great single player. An even greater multiplayer. Limitless hours of fun to be had here. There weren't any expansion packs for this game which was really a pity. But the online community has provided plenty of mods and new gametypes/modes for you to play. There were realistic mod servers where you had 1 life the entire round....it was very intense.     Very intense fun gameplay, definitely better than all the newer CoDs. It has features that are finally being presented again in Ghosts, such as the lean feature.
    And surprisingly the graphics still hold up quite well today. I'll even go ahead and say this game has better textures than most modern games.

    The last great bastion of the Call of Duty series. Everything that has come since, with the exception of CoD 4: Modern Warfare, has been a carbon copy of its predecessor. The story, feel, and execution of this game in both campaign and multiplayer is solid and engaging. I look back fondly on it.

I still remember storming the beaches of Normandy with this game. Love me some M1 Garand action, though the Thompson does the job nicely too. The original maps were very well layed out, making camping a lot less viable than in the current CoD games. Though this game is very old and not many play this anymore, I decided it would be right to write a review of my favorite CoD game and hope the best that they can bring back the way multiplayer used to be.     The best Call Of Duty and World War 2 game that I've ever played! Very immersive game, the sound is loud and realistic. A long game, if compared with its predecessors. I recommend this game for all the fans of first person shooters, especially for those of the WW2.

    Slightly Repetitive. Nice Design, way better than any of this new stupid rambo style adventure call of duty franchise. This is probablly one of the best shooters ever made. It just lacks good tactics and it feels like a Run N gun the entire time. Very fun and addicting if you dont mind running through shooting everything.

But with of without story or charicters this game rocks. The weapons were satisfyingly authentic and a delight to use. The single player was good. But its only half the fun. The multi-player is very well done. It is fair and very fun. One thing that I'v only seen in this game is killcam. Killcam lets you see how someone killed you from a first person perspective. So now things arn't going to be as frusterating and people have second thoughts about cheating. The modes are deathmatch, team deathmatch, search and destroy, HQ.and my personal favorite capture the flag. All these modes are great and overall this game is one of my personal recamendations for world war 2 shooters.… Expand

    Graphically quite nice and relentless action from start to finish but it does get a bit repetitive and I miss the quieter exploration sections of story-based FPSs. If you just want stripped-down linear action without the boring bits, this one's for you!

    I find implementing regenerating health to be a little troublesome. It allows you to experience a kind of combat only a mythical super-soldier could withstand, and in so doing, propels the game from gritty authenticity to John Woo fantasy.
