Each day, he searches through piles of garbage, looking for anything valuable to feed them. But Cain's efforts are unsuccessful - their situation only gets worse. In despair, he takes out a loan from two brothers, Invi and Avari.

    However, the weight of debt is too overwhelming. No matter how hard Cain tries to earn some money, he fails again and again. The day of payment arrives, but Cain can't give the money back. So... Invi and Avari decide to take Nica instead to make her a slave.

    Desperate and broken, Cain cries out to the heavens for the power to change his fate. But the gods remain silent, leaving his prayers unanswered.
