    Based on true events and inspired by actual refugees, Bury me, my Love is not just one outstandingly written story of hope and tears, it is many.

    Bury Me is a remarkable game overall. It’s tender and well-written, being amusing and endearing whilst packing some hefty emotional punches, exploring thought-provoking issues with nuance and without didacticism, all under a sleek-looking facade and with the help of tight, immersive game design. Whilst it may still be better suited to its original mobile format, it’s well worth picking up on any platform.

    A textbook example of how to make a game based on a sensitive topic. If Syrian refugee Nour and her husband Majd simply jumped out of the app they’re using to communicate with each other, I wouldn’t even be surprised. I will never forget our world seen through their eyes.

    Bury me, my love gives us an inside look of the Syrian refugee crisis that is still ongoing. It does so though the personal story of a couple as told via a messaging app. The PC version is probably not the ideal medium though, as full immersiveness is achieved in the mobile version. A good title for people who have no knowledge of the issues examined.

    Bury Me, my Love is an indie game designed to be experienced primarily through smartphone devices or similar, but it also works on PC and console, while losing a bit of its immersiveness. An affordable price encourages fans of the genre to invest a couple of hours in this dramatically realistic journey through countries that still have not found their happy ending.
