    Best Survivor/Auto-Battler so far. Amazing balanced. Nice Chars nice Items. Good Potion of Luck. Only 5€ for 300 hours of fun.

    Brotato is one of my favourite games of 2022. It is so much fun trying to collect all of the achievements and beating danger level 5 on every character. This game has so much content for such a cheap price, so it is basically a no brainer to pick up this indie gem.

Das eigentlich Spannende im Spiel passiert aber zwischen den Runden. Mit dem Geld, das ihr durch das Erledigen der Gegner einnehmt, lässt sich euer Charakter aufleveln und ausrüsten. Dieses macht wegen der variablen Möglichkeiten extrem viel Spaß. Es gibt Dutzende von Charakteren mit unterschiedlichen Perks, zahllose Waffen, diverse Build-Möglichkeiten und sechs verschiedenen Schwierigkeitsgraden. Wegen der kurzen Spiel-Durchläufe von maximal 30 Minuten und der variablen Builds ist die Wiederspielwert enorm. Eine geniale Spielidee mit hohem Suchtfaktor.

    Might be the best game out of this genre. Alot of different characters with tons of different options to play them. New Items and new characters are provided via updates on a regular base. There are some balancing problems though. Some characters are way stronger than others and some item builds are way more broken than others.     is offering 44 characters, 33 weapons and over 150 items. Nonetheless for just 5€ (or even cheaper in a sale) it's a must have for fans of wave survivor/roguelike games.    … Expand

    Well, the game is fun, no question, but these long-distance fighters are absolutely over the top.

    Unfortunately, there is no progress here either. You almost always start from 0. No skill tree, no runes, nothing.

    It's crazy how fun a game this simple is. If you like Vampire Survivors this one is a must buy, there's so much replayability and tens of characters with perks and disadvantages.

    -Variety of unique characters
    -2 game modes 5 difficulties
    -Lots of weapons
    -Lots of mobs
    - any pc runs it
    -lots of mods
    -Quick and nice
    -no internet needed

    -After some time in infinite the mobs stats are stacked up too high

    I always liked potatoes in any form. Fried, baked, mashed...
    But now I'm a lover of potatoes in videogame form as well.
    In fact, ever since I started playing this game, I can say that my life is potato.

    Despite the game not having much more than its single-player and endless mode, Brotato is capable of being can't-put-down fun. Thanks to quick rounds, accessible controls, and easy upgrade options, each run has the potential to be intense and memorable. Still, Brotato's adorably violent art style and characters are begging to be more thoroughly fleshed out with lore. The game would also be a blast on handheld or mobile devices, and with a multiplayer mode where friends could join their spuds together in chaotic cooperative combat. Still, Blobfish has proven itself with Brotato, a fun action game that stars a six-weapon-wielding potato who fights alien hordes.

    Brotato makes up for its lacking depth, enemy variety, arena variety, and mash-up of mechanics seen elsewhere, by making the best of the combination to create an addictive title that fans of pure, arcade-like gameplay will love.
