Everybody wants to get smarter. While Brain Training for Dummies will not turn you into an Einstein, it is a good tool that prevents grandma from going senile (sorry grandma).

A decent array of games, but some linear elements that can rob the creativity and fun. The idea is to stretch the mind, not pigeonhole it into doing things one way. Still the game will work on most PCs and laptops and provide a few challenges.

Between a modest array of games, inapplicable scoring system, and generally lacking feel for making these sorts of exercises enjoyable and producing the effect that you're actually progressing in training your brain, Brain Training for Dummies lacks what it would take to make a good experience in the edutainment genre.
