Really good Vampire Survivors "clone" which does iterate and add new stuff to the formula

If Vampire Survivors created a new genre, Boneraiser exemplifies it. I've truly never been so enamored with a $5 game before, and I don't think i've ever seen such a simple premise so jampacked with content. Truly deserving of a 10/10.

This game is less a Vampire Survivors clone, and more in the realm of one of those games that would've came out on the SNES and been a cult classic that people continue to rave about for 30 years.

Boneraiser Minions pushes the bullet hell survival genre in new directions with fresh ideas, and an addictive gameplay loop. The clean, retro visuals are fantastic and the improved accessibility options make Boneraiser Minions easy to enjoy. The fun classes and interesting minions create a deep layer of strategy and potential builds as you take your revenge on King Gigald. At just $4.99, Boneraiser Minions is a great value and can provide dozens of hours of entertainment.

It’s hard to disentangle oneself from Boneraiser Minions. It’s chock full of content, really fun to play, it’s even legitimately funny and of course extremely addictive. Can you stomach the simplistic pixel art? If so, you’re going to spend ungodly amounts of time in this game and you’re going to enjoy every minute of it.

Boneraiser Minions is a truly superb production, and not just because it makes a Bernard’s Watch reference. It’s a silly yet fiercely addictive survive ‘em up brimming with charismatic originality. From its premise to its unit-based spin on the genre to its multitude of unlocks and upgrades, this beautiful bit of nonsense won my heart with incredible ease. Boneraiser is the kind of game I’m excited to think about, and the constant cock talk is just a boners… sorry, a bonus. No complaints. No notes. Boneraiser Minions is simply exquisite.
