After a few missions, the novelty wears thin. The clunky controls, the repetitive grind, the constant rebuilding… it starts to feel more like a chore than a challenge. And in a world full of polished strategy games and tightly tuned shooters, going back to Block Fortress 2 just doesn’t make a lot of sense. It’s good. Not great. Not bad. Just good. And sometimes, good isn’t enough to earn a second playthrough.
