    Arguably one of the most creative concepts for a video game ever. It takes a simple premise and gradually builds upon its established mechanic of simply going left and right with more ludicrous scenarios and interesting challenges as you progress. Starting off by simply dodging to the side to avoid oncoming traffic, you later find yourself avoiding gunshots, dealing with an argumentativeArguably one of the most creative concepts for a video game ever. It takes a simple premise and gradually builds upon its established mechanic of simply going left and right with more ludicrous scenarios and interesting challenges as you progress. Starting off by simply dodging to the side to avoid oncoming traffic, you later find yourself avoiding gunshots, dealing with an argumentative GPS and going underwater and avoiding torpedo dolphins. The story always revels in its madness. Heavily recommend to gamers who love unique experiences.… Expand

    The sound design is perfection and the idea is very unique. It ramps up the challenges as you progress doing a lot with very little. One of the best indie games of 2021.

    Вы заперты в машине с завязанными глазами и должны не врезаться, несясь по автомагистрали. Игр, где надо играть вслепую итак можно по пальцам пересчитать, так тут ещё и сюжет есть! И да, концептуально, вы могли такое встретить в каких-то фильмах, но всё гениальное просто, интерактивное произведение такого формата ещё никто раньше не делал.

    Тут прекрасно почти всё, придраться не к чему. Дизайн меню шикарный, музыка шикарная, все звуки шикарные, озвучка персонажей шикарная, геймплей очень простой, но достаточно разнообразный, разработчики выжали максимум из простейшей механики, в игре про слепого водителя даже 2 БОССА ЕСТЬ!

    Проходя эту игру я как-будто бы переиграл ВО ВСЕ ЖАНРЫ, вначале это ХОРРОР, тебе реально очень страшно врезаться и непонятно, что происходит, я реально сидел весь потный, проходя её) от каждого столкновения я вздрагивал, потом это ХАРДКОР похлеще дарк соулса, но при этом всё ещё страшно, игра держит в напряжении постоянно, потом, к середине игры, сложность становится немного попроще, по сюжету начинается какая-то КОМЕДИЯ, в конце это уже полноценная хардкорная аркада с чёрным юмором. В общем, игра за 2,5 часа меня полностью эмоционально истощила и, это охрененно! За 2 часа вы испытали эмоций на целый день❗

    - Да, конечно, сюжет скатывается в треш в конце, и хотелось бы чего-то более серьёзного, это единственный минус игры, но требовать большего от такого маленького инди-проекта сложно, надеюсь в будущем кто-то сделает более полноценную игру про "слепого водителя", может даже с решениями, влияющими на сюжет.. с несколькими концовками, было бы вообще 10/10. Ещё игра слишком сложная, я даже на лёгком её еле прошёл, и слабонервным людям может очень тяжело в неё играть из-за очень долгого чувства тревоги.

    Это незаслуженно никем незамеченная игра, в которую должен поиграть каждый (если жалко денег, хоть в пиратку поиграйте, она даже на телефоны есть), очень обидно за игру, даже я её заметил только через год после её выхода из-за упоминания её названия в одной из статей в инете. Теперь это мой ТОП-3 2021. 9/10.

    Из игр, в которые могут играть даже слепые люди, могу отметить ещё "Blind Legend", но там мне не понравилось техническое исполнение.

    This game is a gem! Very fun, stressful too. I literally jumped every time i got hit.
    The sound design is top notch, story is funny and the voice acting is brilliant.
    A bit short though, took me about two hours to finish.
    Highly recommended!

    Blind Drive is a game that literally delivers what it promises: we play as Donnie, a kid who signs up to take part in a scientific trial without knowing that he is going to be forced to drive a car blindfolded. A vehicle that also goes in the opposite direction. His goal, and therefore ours, is to avoid other drivers, even though he can only use his ear for this. Occasionally the rehearsalBlind Drive is a game that literally delivers what it promises: we play as Donnie, a kid who signs up to take part in a scientific trial without knowing that he is going to be forced to drive a car blindfolded. A vehicle that also goes in the opposite direction. His goal, and therefore ours, is to avoid other drivers, even though he can only use his ear for this. Occasionally the rehearsal manager, a person with a distorted voice, will call us to ask how we are doing on this suicide mission.

    Since controls are simple and handy while playing game. Blind Drive makes us focus on what really matters: sound. Its spectacular sound design means that with headphones on (you can play without them, but it is not recommended) we can sense which way the cars are coming in order to avoid them and save our skin.

    Its minimal and most basic form, this of offering us an experience that we play only with the ear, more than fulfills what we could expect of it: the surround sound is so well designed that we can play with our eyes closed and imagine ourselves inside a car speeding in the opposite direction, imagining a situation that is only happening in our heads and that gets there thanks to the meticulous auditory stimuli we receive. In fact, it has a hardcore mode that takes away all the few graphic elements on the screen to enhance that feeling. In either mode, Blind Drive is a unique, brilliant experience.    … Expand

    Totally confused by the glowing reviews for this. I've seen flash games with more depth. However funny you think the "story" is, the core game play is literally just either going left or right. That's it. It gets old after 5 minutes. Would have been fine as an intro to a game or something, once you realize that's all you'll be doing the whole game it loses any appeal it started with.

    How can this game be this well rated ?
    It is original, you can have fun understanding this new concept like 5 minutes, not more.
    I really enjoyed it 5 minutes, but then I was bored.

    An impressive concept until you spend even one minute experiencing the execution. Blind Drive could have been a good game if there was any imagination or ambition behind it.

    Blind Drive is a potentially interesting concept in dire need of even a lazy, half-hearted execution. You would think that if the devs didn't have to make even a single visual there would be something interesting going on in the audio department, the writing department, really anything interesting at all. There isn't. To even call the game one-note feels unduly generous.

    A cursory glance at critic reviews for this game tells you everything you need to know about game critics. This game is a genuine pile of steaming garbage; even an amateur can see that much. Professional critics really shouldn't be struggling this much.

    An audio based arcade racer, that’s a bit too simple but with lots of fun. A unique blend of an interesting premise with a “Twilight Zone” vibe and an excellent, absurd and sarcastic writing.

    Blind Drive is like no game I've ever played before, which, having played video games for the last thirty years, is certainly saying something. Lo-Fi People has delivered one of the most compelling and plainly weird video game experiences of 2021. Your ears will love this game.
