JonathanH.May 21, 2001Much better than I thought it would be. After a poor start it actually gets quite scary.

FabianV.Jan 1, 2002Spooky! I became a complete nervous wreck playing just the INTERACTIVE TRAILER, without the horrible control...this game would have a 10.

GoodFunFeb 11, 2002I finally got this game after the price drop because I read some bad reviews and its one of those am glad I got it situations. I have only played 10 minutes of the spooky town Level 1 where you talk with townspeople to get more of blair witch gossip. The graphics are amazing and it feels like you are playing in sort of sleepy hollow type movie.

CheckOutUnfortunately, while the story is well-told and intriguing, the gameplay is unwieldy and frustrating -- and after all, we aren't watching a movie, we're playing a game.

With a strong storyline, fantastic graphics, interesting presentation, wonderful voice acting, and engrossing gameplay, Blair Witch is another in a long line of excellent TRI releases.
-
Despite its flaws, Blair Witch 1 does an admirable job of sustaining an atmosphere of suspense and horror from start to finish, and for some people that may be worth the price of admission.
