Though thoroughly enjoyable, Blacksmith Master’s gameplay loop dulls after a while, making you wish that your well-orchestrated symphony would be interrupted by some sort of crisis — anything to introduce variety and a bit more challenge. If you’re looking for a management sim with well-defined limits that you can put down after a while, satisfied with having accomplished something, this title is an easy recommendation. [Early Access Score = 70]

Blacksmith Master has significant potential and, for an early access title, enough content and quality to be recommended. After hours of gameplay, I hope to see additions like magic, diverse races, and even a minimal narrative implemented. As for the mechanics, adjustments are needed — such as rebalancing the quality coins system or revising the progression. Overall, the core works very well, and with further refinement, I believe the game could become a polished gem in the future. [Early Access Score = 75]

Blacksmith Master is an interesting tycoon game with cool theming that is sure to keep you interested for at least a few hours in its current Early Access state. However, before the game launches, it could seriously use some tweaks to its endgame and economy, and perhaps add a little more personalization or story to the game as well. At some point, the act of running a purely profitable business becomes kind of mind-numbing with nothing introduced to shake things up. [Early Access Review]
