Summary:
A new promotion by BIC will make back-to-school shopping cool again. Called the "BIC Extreme Sports Game," this new software giveaway will tempt young people to purchase BIC's most popular back-to-school products.
The game features three separate sports that players can choose from including "Velocity Jet Ski," "Grip Matic Mountain Mission," and "Jumbo Air Skate Park" each representing a sampling of BIC's new back-to-school products for 2000.
In the game, BIC Matic Grip mechanical pencils are used to help the mountain climber scale a steep ridge. Intensity pen ramps can be used by the player to gain extra points in the skateboarding game and BIC Velocity pens give an extra power boost in the Jet Ski game. Once a player is able to complete the Jet Ski course, he will be given the opportunity to connect to the BIC Web site for a super fast Jet Ski.
Created for BIC by New York City-based BrandGames, BIC Extreme Sports has all the features young people are looking for in a video game, including fast action, high-tech graphics, rockin' music and easy to follow instructions. But probably the most exciting feature of all is the computer game debut of the BIC Boy - an icon known around the world for fine quality products, comes to life in BIC Extreme Sports.
