    With attractive graphics and a well-produced soundtrack, Beyond Space does its best to feel AAA, but once the game gets going it all starts to fall apart at the seams. When the game backs off and lets you blast things, it's a fun diversion, but it's let down by the woeful storyline, and the simple fact that there are many other games out there that do it better.

    Beyond Space is not geared toward hardcore dogfigthing simulator fans, but rather toward a more casual audience that would like to try out the genre...Unfortunately, it lacks any depth due to the absence of a storyline and context for your actions, and the general game flow is questionable at best, and lacking in many areas.

    It's a space game with no multiplayer, no trade, no mining, and just a linear story. You can't customize much beyond your ship either.

    C'mon, you own a PC. There are so many great space games out there like Elite Dangerous, EvE, or even the older (but still great) Sins of a Solar Empire. All of them offer something different and they all will drag you in far more than this port of an IOS game.    … Expand
