DeanFeb 23, 2005This is the most disappointing rpg title i have ever had the opportunity to play. Amongst the numerous reasons for this, is its lack of plot, infuriating battlefields with limitless foes and no big bad guy, a must in my opinion, and frustrating interface. It is absolutely no comparison to the epic boiware rpgs, so if that is what youre looking for don't pursue beyond divinity.

Oct 29, 2011the game had an interesting plot, a bunch of interesting characters, reasonable gameplay and it was pretty long too. defiantly recommended
but if you want to enjoy the game you have to realize the truth.. you will never escape the demonic world where the game takes place -

Apr 2, 2018Yes, the gameplay isn't as great as DD, voice acting is terrible and the game crashes sometimes ... but still it has an amazing atmosphere plus stunning music. my first run took around 35h and I enjoyed every single second of it.

Nov 8, 2020This game is at 1 point interesting story, gameplay, rather unique setting, at another side really awful battlefields (parallel worlds). They are not random generated. There are only 5 kinds of dungeons with 6 reskin options. You need to go there only for stupid grind for money to pay for abilities & armor. You will need to spend up to 40% of your time there.

Nov 19, 2019That's what captivated me in this game was a relation between our Hero and Dark Knight.
Also story is very good with many unusal quests.
Visuals was outdated when game was released but this should not be a problem for player who seeks an unique RPG game. -

An incredibly generic RPG. Often playable, but sometimes frustrating and never original through its 100 hours plus playing time. In a PC market that thrives on innovation, Larian Games seem to have missed something fundamental.

If youre feeling patient and want a massive adventure then BD is worth a look. If you have "Sacred" in your library, keep playing till you get to level 50 and then see how you feel.

The puzzles are also annoyingly addictive.
