    This game is definitely not a 10 but I just feel like countering all these 0 reviews. Yes, having 50% soldiers as females is stupid, yes all this SJW **** is bad. What isn't bad is gameplay itself, multiplayer is great and I really enjoy both infantry and vehicle gameplay (planes not so much though, but I might spend some time learning them properly later). Sure, there are issues, TTK,This game is definitely not a 10 but I just feel like countering all these 0 reviews. Yes, having 50% soldiers as females is stupid, yes all this SJW **** is bad.     I can wait to receive maps featuring new factions such as Russians, Americans and Japaneses...

    This is right up there with Battlefield 3, and in many aspects, it's even better.
    Of course visually, for example, but the one thing they absolutely nailed is Squad Play.
    If your squad cooperates, this creates maybe the best game moments I experienced so far in >20 years of gaming. If it doesn't, it's still good, and while I personally would have hoped for a steeper attrition curve here,    This is right up there with Battlefield 3, and in many aspects, it's even better.

    Gorgeous, expansive, realistic (or at least as much as an FPS can be), and simply loaded to the brim with content — in short, every bit as good as its predecessors. I don't mind the minor anachronisms (although I'm surprised that my fellow gamer Millennials cared about historical precision this much).

    I like the game, especially multiplayer. It's almost perfect and in my opinion one of the best ones. Try multiplayer with a clear head, it's awesome.

    For the plebs that speaks "realism", they obviously havn't been in combat at all. bunch of fking hypocrites. This game isn't trying to be the "OMFG SO MUCH REALISM". if u want "realism" go play red orchestra. fking idiots.

    I have more hours in this Battlefield than others so I guess that itself makes it a good game in my mind's eye. The division of tactical maps from strategic maps is imo the best part of BFV that separates it from previous games. Overall pretty much everything is done well. The downside to the game is the people who play it.     They took everything from Battlefield 1 and made it better. Gunplay is maybe the best since BF3 and the graphics and animations like damaged planes are fantastic. With the addiction of all the future updates (gratis) this will be a masterpiece. Do not trust the reviews bombing.

    This game is fantastic! I have played every single Battlefield ever made, and although there are a few bugs that I am sure will be worked out this is pure fun. The mechanics and teamplay are amazing, the sound really allows you to hear the important action and the feel is great.

You are not in a real way, you are not a real soldier and there is no room to coplain about realism when a bag of stuff instantly heals a large caliber round to the head. Not to mention creating obstacles with a hammer, or jumping out of planes at a few hundred feet and landing safely. :-)

    I know its easy to be angry at women in general when you get no action, but go back to COD and stop pretending that you "always loved the series...." you trolls!

    Played all BF games I did not like BF4 so much, liked BF1 a lot and I love BFV. I don't like COD but played most of them but after a short while, I get bored of COD. Ilke that BF games give good rewards to support an medics.

    Fantastic game, feels like bad company 2 multiplayer. People giving it a bad review because its "sjw" are just plain ridiculous, the only thing this game has different compared to the other ones is women. Cosmetics are also legit to the setting.

    Battlefield 5 is my new Battlefield 3! Forget Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1! BF5 looks amazing, the gunplay is better and every match is exciting. All updates in the future are FREE. I recommend Battlefield 5 to Battlefield fans.

    I play via Origin Access, so with that in mind and the fact that I might play for 1-2 month and therefore only spend half of the retail price.. i really really like this game at the moment. Maybe it will become quite dull after some month, but right now i play the hell out of it

    This game does not have microtransaction yet (confirmed it will have) so i don't know why people say it has a tone of it.     They improved so much vs. the beta. I actually did not like the beta but now this game is just excellent. I am also quite pleased by the map design. I can tell they made a big improvement vs BF1.
    Regarding the female character controversy, you now have the option to choose whether you want a man or a woman, black or white etc... So it is totally up to the player to decide what he wants to do. Nothing is imposed on you by the devs.

    This game for me is one of the best battlefields ive ever played. The negative review bombing afected the future development and i dont think that we will be seeing a red army update. As for the history - read books, there are tons of them- this is a videogame ispired by historical events not a ww2 documentary - and walking around with a chick medic is totaly my cup of tea.

    2.Графика, физика, звуки - всё выполнено на высочайшем уровне. Новая планка качества достигнута.
    3. Детальная кастомизация всего и вся.
    Минусы:
    1. Отвратительные "военные истории". Нет историчной достоверности, куча сюжетных и логических ляпов, скучное повествование, акцент на современных трендах в ущерб исторической достоверности. Кроме истории "Последний тигр". Она заставляет проявить эмоции, задуматься и достаточно точно передаёт дух войны. Но всё же одна шикарная история не вытягивает 3 других.
    2. Очень мало всего на старте. Мало карт, мало предметов и техники, мало предметов визуального оформления. Присутствует элемент непродуманного гринда.
    3. Присутствует достаточно много визуальных и технических багов.
    Справедливости ради оценка игры 8 из 10. Но так как существует масса предвзятых людей которые даже не играя поставили нули, я поставлю десятку дабы хоть как то сбалансировать оценку    … Expand

The only gripe for me are the vehicles, which are not really that fun right now, but I trust Dice to fix that really soon. Honestly, I don't even care that much, because the infantry and team play are so much improved that you don't really want to go into an airplane or a tank.

    The game got a bad hype out of the gate. But if you choose your games based on that, you are missing out.

    There is a lot of people right now trying to jump on the hate train, especially mid/low tier YouTubers who see it as a way of getting a few more like and subs. Don't let them influence you. Pick up this game and make your own mind.    … Expand

    Gamers are becoming entitled. BF players wanted 3D spotting removed. Guess what? Gone. No one really likes DLC. Right? They made it free. Do you like amazing graphics? I do, and guess what, the graphics in Battlefield 5 are the best I have ever seen, especially in 4K. The game doesn't run too bad either. Low amount of stuff in the game? Was there a huge outrage in Battlefield 1, because BF5 has the same amount of primary weapons, more tanks, the same amount of planes, more vehicles, etc, only lagging behind in gadgets and secondary weapons. If you want, try to manage to get a 7 day free trial of Origin access and you will get 10 hours of play time in the game. Make sure you cancel the subscription before the 7th day though. As for the reuse of textures and sounds in the game, it is not like a crap ton were reused or anything. The game looks WAY different from Battlefield 1. The weapons in BF1 that made their way into BF5 were obviously redone.    … Expand

    I really like this game. The Multiplayer is nearly perfect! The Gun- and Gameplay is skill-based maybe its not a game for Players how dont like this but the guys who like to WORK to proceed and have fun with this will love it! (and to the guys how are crying because of the women in the game, you dont have to play as a woman so you can totally ignore this if you dont like women)

And it has the same amount of content at launch or more of the previous game BF 1.

    So I would say this game is well worth your money, especially if you are looking for more serious Battlefield gameplay compared to BF 1's arcade direction.    … Expand

    Absolutely brilliant online FPS experience. Leaps ahead of BF1 and now the best AAA FPS on the market. Map design is top class and the sense of realism. No season pass or paid DLC, no micro-transactions. Just a solid game with 2 years content support. Ignore the SJW complaints, the women take nothing away from the experience.

    A huge step up from Battlefield 1. They took everything good from BF1 and amped it up.

    Battlefield V is harder and more punishing. Teamplay is a key factor again.
    Being tactical really pays off, and it feels like Battlefield should feel.

    People that are giving this game low scores have not played the game, they just don't like the fact that there are women in it. This game is the bestt multiplayer shooter of the year. It is truly breathtaking and has deep gameplay. EA has done away with DLC which is another plus. If you like FPS, you're gonna like this one.

    I wonder how many of these haters actually played the game? This game is so much fun! It's War Thunder, World of Tanks, and infantry game play of Medal of Honor in one game. Future content is absolutely FREE! And the gameplay is the best in the series, period.

    This game builds upon the few strength of battlefield one but eliminates most of its flaws. A lot of small and some big changes (+ the good maps) lead to a massive improvement in team-play, tactics and overall balance. This is just intense and fun. You never want to touch bf1 again.
    But they should tone down the "comeback" mechanic, it's silly.

    Been a BF gamer since 1942 and I have to say I am so stoked to go back to WW2. If you like casual gaming and WW2 setting, you don't want to miss this game. Have fun playing solo or join with friends. This game is worth it.

    This game has all the makings of a lasting title. Loads of customization. The 3D sound is crazy good. Also, the game keeps you busy and focused. Squad play has the most meaning of any BF game to date.

    One of the best Battlefields IMO, Atleast since BF3 for me, As a medic player primarily, The changes to revives and health make the experience so much better, I've had so many great moments with random squads, Keeping them alive and taking points against many many more enemies, Single player is **** but whatever, The multiplayer is too good to not give out a 10

    A lot of people just hating the game because of the controversy, thats all, the game its not a 10/10 but its really good if you are an old Battlefield player you will recognise a lot of ald mechanics, now you cant play like the shotgun assault killer or the granade spam support, now you need real skills to survive.

    This is the most fluid BF game since 3 with amazing domain ( infantry/tank/plane ) gameplay.

    Everything is lethal, and everything is lethal to each other but powerful in its own regards which makes it enjoyable. Tanks die quickly, but can wipe out entire squads when used right. Bombers decimate the landscape but are wrecked by a skilled fighter pilot. Snipers kill the open lanes, but medics block the sight lines with smoke.

    The game is a masterpiece and a masterwork and worth your time to revisit the Battlefield series.    … Expand

    Pretty much every negative review here is from someone that has clearly never played the game. The cosmetics are completely toned down in this game. There are no pay-to-win microtransactions either. This game took what BF1 had and improved on it.
    -No 3d spotting
    -Nerfed certain vehicles
    -No spam revive
    -No spam ammo
    -Building fortifications
    -Throwing nades back
    -Better map design

    With some bug fixes this is gonna go down as the best frostbite era Battlefield. Majority of the people who gave it negative review never actually played the game and are riding on their stupid propaganda thing. Metacritic really should disable the ability to post review for the people who don't own the game.

    Best Battlefield yet, best shooter of the year, no competition. Made even better by all of the triggered simpletons. Very glad they decided to skip out on this one, the game is much better off without them :)

    If you are purchasing a BF title for it's campaign, then you must not be familiar with the franchise. Judging a BF title for it's campaign is like judging KFC for their corn on the cob. Campaign has NEVER been the focus of ANY BF title. Early BF games didn't even release with a campaign at all.

    Bugs....maybe...the game runs fine for me on i5 8600k, gtx1070, 16GB DDR4.

    Microtransactions.....no, this is not a problem AT ALL. They aren't even releasing a Season Pass for this game. I think the media fiasco and subsequent stock price plummet due to Battle Front 2 taught them a lesson.

    In conclusion, BF5 is a solid BF release, great graphics, fast, heart pounding game play, all the things you know and love from a good BF title are in this game. They need to increase the squad count back to 5 and do some UI tuning, but overall I am more than satisfied with BF5, and I cannot wait to see what their royale looks like. Don't make your decision based on these negative reviews by people who clearly haven't the slightest idea of what they are talking about.     Coming back to Battlefield since long. I'm one of those Battlefield 2 players who loved that game back then. Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 was some of my favorites. This game has the spirit of these old games. No new overly bombastic features like Battlefield 4. Not bloated with unlocks like Hardline and BF4. Just pure joy. With full time ONLY IN BATTLEFIELD feelings.

The building system despite being limited it's a nice addition and the teamplay is one of the main focus during the battles,i suggest playing with some friends and fight for points and completing tasks. There is a huge customization now compared to previous games,i personally don't like the new perk system but i am slowly getting used to it. Also for the uneducated people who call out in anger other factions they just proved to mot know to listen and read. Other factions will come later as free dlc as the game evolves. Can't say anything about the battleroyale mode,there will be a mode also focused on tank battle only. There are some historical errors but nothing too bad like the average hater make them sound. The war stories are beautiful and emotional. The game in the end is like a 8/10 but i leave a 10 as provocation for those blind haters. Also i agree that female screams are too loud.… Expand

    I am a huge fan of the series and I've played since bf1942. I just have to say that this is the best one, even better than bfbc2 and that is to say a lot!
    This game has received a lot of unwarranted hate and I believe most 0s come from people who never actually played the game.

    Es sieht Top aus und die Karten sind sehr abwechslungsreich.
    Das Waffengefühl ist perfekt, genauso wie das Soundgefühl.

Though I do really really hope they do add hardcore support. Which they kind of did for BF1 after launch. Here's hoping for something better.

    But I have to say, as a hardcore battlefield player the game feels much more toward that side. 3D spotting takes longer. I really like the new spotting mechanic, which doesnt automatically spot the enemy, bet lets your squad mates know the area you say an enemy. Also health doesn't always regen, you start with 1 health pack and can pick up more. For those new to the franchise, hardcore mode is with friendly fire turned on, mini-map off, enemy tags disabled, you don't automatically regen health, and bullet damage turned way up. I feel like they found solid middle-ground between the casual and hardcore player. Well done DICE, that's not an easy accomplishment.

    The map design is REALLY well done, so far I think some of the best of the series. they are really interactive and each match feels like it evolves a bit differently. Unlike some of the previous games (like BF4's metro map)

    My biggest complaint is with the UI, I find it way more confusing and less straight forward than any other battlefield game. Not sure what they were going for with this. It seems more difficult than it should be to track progression and unlocks.

    And of course, the audio design is unrivaled. Battlefield games have the best audio, and this one is no different. Although, I feel like perhaps BF1's is slightly better.

    The game is way more polished than a lot of the other reviews would have you believe. And it's only going to get better, as with every battlefield game (save for maybe Hardline).

    Also, as an added bonus, if you buy this game, you can say F--- YOU to immature misogynists! Win-win!    … Expand

La dinámica de juego esta muy rápida, han modificado el tiempo de respawneo cosa que al principio tardaba mas, y el juego estaba funcionando medio lento, ayer metieron un parche mágico, y el juego anda impecable a 60fps con una PC medianamente buena, lo dejaron perfectamente optimizado, mi set up procesador i7 4770 3,4ghz 4th generacion, 16 de ram ddr3 1333mhz, placa video Radeon rx580 8gb, y un disco solido. Paso de andarme el modo online con todas las graficas al minimo entre 35 y 50 fps, a andarme en ultra a 60fps totalmente estable y sin niguna caida de fps. Hay muchos servidores con todos los modos de juego online activos, llenos 24/7 y absolutamente sin ping. Las gráficas y jugabilidad impecables, es mas difícil que los anteriores bf pq te tirotean de todos lados, pero es cuestión de tryhardearla y empezar a conocer los mapas y las armas, y todo empieza a fluir muy lindo. Exige mucho mas el juego en equipo, y los mapas son épicos. Hay muchas misiones activables que hacen el juego mucho mas interesante, y todo el contenido del juego se puede desbloquear jugando sin tener que pagar dinero extra, y comprando el juego base vienen incluidas todas las expansiones.     I love it, the multiplayer is excellent. minor bugs will be worked out. I can't believe these reviews. all because of some inaccurate history? I am a veteran and served a combat tour in Afghanistan as 11B. I am not offended, nor disappointed in any way

    Ignore all zero reviews this game is really good except lack of maps. Single-player is all right for warm up and multiplayer is nice and tight.

    I love BF3 & 4. Each I spent more than 1000 hours. BF1 not the game for me. However, this one is a gem. I am a tank player mostly. This game is the one for sure, after long experience with the bf games. Do not listen to the haters. This one fits my needs.

    The Gameplay is fun and I'm enjoying both multiplayer and singleplayer modes. The Developper reacted to critics appropriately and so far I'm satisfied, there are bugs yes, but I'm confident they will be fixed. Historical accuracy was never a thing that was promised and as you know our forefathers didn't run to different flags to defeat the Nazis, so I find the whole debate ridiculous. I really enjoyed the Last Tiger Mission, it was outstanding and nice to see the war from the german view. Microstransactions can only be used for cosmetics so it's everyone's own choice if he/she wants to buy a skin or not. Also one can't criticise BF5 for having them while enjoying other titles with the same System (OW, Anthem,Fortnite, Fifa,...). I think the ratings aren't quite as objective as they should be.

    I know my rating wouldn't change its generally unfavorable reviews, but I feel like I owe an honest-to-god review for this game. So much fun! You guys really should give it a try, honestly. Multiplayer (conquest, grind, grand operation) mode is the best way to enjoy. The "battle royale" mode tho, it takes long queue, so your choice

    It’s far from being ideal but all the glitches and shortcomings don’t ruin the overall fun of Battlefield V’s multiplayer experience. Although the single player portion of the game is not bad at all, I would have been disappointed if I bought the game just for it. [13/2018, p.56]

    In Battlefield V we got back to WW2, but with refined gunplay and death system which works great. There are also little problems such as low number of maps and stability issues, that are taking the fun away, but nothing that can't be fixed.

    A great World War II shooter that will grow and improve. Do not buy the game because of its singleplayer, but if you consider the campaign a bonus to the multiplayer, you will be satisfied. [Issue#291]
