    It was poor at launch and the support was dropped too quickly, but after a few years this is probably the best Battlefield so far (way better than 2042, more comfortable than BF1). Amazing controls, well-balanced classes and gameplay, all weapons have their pros and cons, but mostly it just works.

    Big maps, small ones, vehicles, stationary guns – it just works. So, if you haven't tried    It was poor at launch and the support was dropped too quickly, but after a few years this is probably the best Battlefield so far (way better than 2042, more comfortable than BF1).     I do not understand the stupid review giving the game a 0/10. This is nonsense. The game is totally different from what was announced and in an amazing way! The gameplay is just so much fun, very immersive environment. I love the sounds, the graphics, the gun mechanics, the Grand operation.     They improved so much vs. the beta. I actually did not like the beta but now this game is just excellent. I am also quite pleased by the map design. I can tell they made a big improvement vs BF1.
    Regarding the female character controversy, you now have the option to choose whether you want a man or a woman, black or white etc... So it is totally up to the player to decide what he wants to do. Nothing is imposed on you by the devs.

    Single Player review ~~~

    Rather then I do hate that I actually agree on the most on this game when it comes to that the War Stories are too short and the fact that you can play it through in less than 5 hours, dossen't sincerely mean that it is a bad game.     So after what I started this review with and the base of my score you would probably be like what the hell is this guy smoking? Well yeah, I do find the stories a bit short for their price, but after playing them I feel like I was there when it happened. And not many games have given me THAT feeling. And personally I REALLY like story modes with a solid story and have that ability to make a man really feel what the character feels, And so far BFV have hit me right in my hearth.

    The stories are uniqe and really satisfied with a good war time soldier humor to a more serious arguing and the crying from fear of the death itself. It brings all this feeling into perspective that made this like a Christopher Nolan's movie Dunkirk to a cinematic experiance you can interact with yourself. And I have never had this much emotion going through a videogame single player mode before. So from people blaming to DICE about a short story, I love that they perfected them instead of beeing a long one without the same quality.

    Even if I spent 59£ on this, after all theese emotions and dedication, I feel it is well worth this. And even better if they come with more war stories throughout the game.

    Coming back to Battlefield since long. I'm one of those Battlefield 2 players who loved that game back then. Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 was some of my favorites. This game has the spirit of these old games. No new overly bombastic features like Battlefield 4. Not bloated with unlocks like Hardline and BF4. Just pure joy. With full time ONLY IN BATTLEFIELD feelings.

    -> Two weeks after release, we already can unlock 3 new weapons and one new map. Some say BFV lacks content but forget that a DLC delivers new maps months after the release... we already started to receive new content two weeks after worldwide lauch.
    -> Lack of progresssion from BF1 was fixed. Now, you have several ranks and progressions to go thru (weapon, class, soldier, Tides of War) etc...

    I can wait to receive maps featuring new factions such as Russians, Americans and Japaneses...

    I think that this is truly a unique game and I would recommend that if you are a fan of this type of genre then I think you should give this game a try.

    rating the game on the game itself and not all about this SJW, feminist and historical accuracy bull****. it's a solid game, runs very well on my pc with good graphics and fluid gameplay. played all the other battlefields and this one isnt bad at all. some aspects look similar to bf1 but its much better than the previous title.

    Compensation 10/10. I hate activists, either SJWs or antiSJWs, all I want from battlefield is fun and few frags and this one delivers.

    Not so good like previous BF 1 but still great game. Hope that some bugs will be fixed soon. Dice please make normall single player like in BF 4. Stories are soo bad idea :(

One example is the sound glitches in some of the planes, especially the Stuka bomber. Singleplayer is meh except the into.     I began playing the Battlefield Series with BF1942 with my favourite installment being BF2. The last BF game I played before BF5 was BF3.     I began playing the Battlefield Series with BF1942 with my favourite installment being BF2. The last BF game I played before BF5 was BF3.

    What I can say is that if you liked BFBC2 or BF3 and you enjoy the WW2 setting, you will like BF5. There are NO MICRO-TRANSACTIONS OR IN-GAME TRANSACTIONS. There is an in game currency but as far as I can tell there is no way to buy it, you can ONLY EARN IT by playing the game and completing dailies or assignments.

    3D spotting has been removed which is a positive in my opinion, now only certain classes can spot exactly where an enemy is, otherwise you can only mark a position on a map as having 'enemy activity.'

    There probably are a few too many bugs or glitches, but I believe they will be fixed as DICE/EA finally seemed determined and interested in clearing their reputations up and delivering BF5 as a on-going experience with all future game content being released for free for everyone forever. What more can you ask for?

    The menu system is a bit counter-intuitive and hopefully will be improved, but once in game on the battlefield it is a fun time with the gameplay, as I suggested earlier, being reminiscent of BFBC2/BF3 but in WW2 and without 3D spotting.

    The Medic is not redundant as some people have suggested, simply squad-mates can revive one another now but it takes 5 seconds to revive as opposed to the Medics' 2 second revive. Plus Medics can revive all teammates while non-Medics can only revive their squad-mates.

    They've introduced squad leader abilities, which are usually tiered into a supply drop > light vehicle call in > heavy vehicle call in > rocket strike which is very similar to the commanders abilities in BF2.

    Vehicle and weapon balance could always use a bit of work but ultimately if you're a fan of the BF series and you weren't a fan of BF4/Hardlines/BF1, you should try BF5 as it seems to take the game back to its roots a little more than some of the newer games.    … Expand

    I really like this game. The Multiplayer is nearly perfect! The Gun- and Gameplay is skill-based maybe its not a game for Players how dont like this but the guys who like to WORK to proceed and have fun with this will love it! (and to the guys how are crying because of the women in the game, you dont have to play as a woman so you can totally ignore this if you dont like women)

    For the plebs that speaks "realism", they obviously havn't been in combat at all. bunch of fking hypocrites. This game isn't trying to be the "OMFG SO MUCH REALISM". if u want "realism" go play red orchestra. fking idiots.

    Buy the game, u wont regret. Unless u got no skills that is

    This game is fantastic! I have played every single Battlefield ever made, and although there are a few bugs that I am sure will be worked out this is pure fun. The mechanics and teamplay are amazing, the sound really allows you to hear the important action and the feel is great.

You are not in a real way, you are not a real soldier and there is no room to coplain about realism when a bag of stuff instantly heals a large caliber round to the head. Not to mention creating obstacles with a hammer, or jumping out of planes at a few hundred feet and landing safely. :-)

    I know its easy to be angry at women in general when you get no action, but go back to COD and stop pretending that you "always loved the series...." you trolls!

    I have played battlefield since bf2. Since then I have hooked onto no shooter game, it had the best weapon customization and depth into your own personality in a video game. The game really gave me a tactical feel!

    Graphics - 9/10 they look really good but feel somewhat of a downgrade in terms of distance quality (it might just be my screen and graphics settings all on high ) Colors do look cartoony and fake-ish at times but don't really notice after a while.

    Gameplay/Gunplay- 9/10 in terms of getting rid of the horrible bf 1 random bullet accuracy it feels really good. Fast pace squad play and rushing flag points really give me a tactical feeling. Watching corners, breaking windows and using the environment is really interesting. I love the additions of 360 degrees prone and crouch running. The new attrition system works well never felt in need of ammo or health too much gave them just the right amount and always gave me and others the feeling to actually give health or ammo to others. I love the realistic tank gameplay just like in bf 1 where you enter the hatch and hop in with your buddies, a better angling of the armor system which really helps vs heavy tanks and panzershrects . Every class has a role that you will most likely follow . The sniper class has a skill gape now and take skill to land headshots. Time to death still feels as if you die way to quickly than you kill though.

    Progression-10/10Now this where I think a lot of battlefield 5s quality Starts to show the new customization system looks perfect lots of realistic clothing and face paints. Good weapon skins later on. The missions give you something to do other than bf 1 did at launch. The weapon progression gets some getting used to because u forget there are no real attachments besides scopes. After a while, your weapon gets really good and fits your playstyle once you pick your weapons perks in the gun tree. The Company is awesome as well presets for every nation clothing presets for every class and weapon really good. DICE has shown a great improvement here! The only downside is I wish they would add more sights and scope mag options like in bf 1 Very hard to snipe with an x6 scope that takes up your whole screen.

    Performance - 7/10 Bf1 and Bf5 both run fairly bad at times. I have a i5 7500 with a 980ti and 16 gigs of 2133hz RAM I should be able to run this game without tweaking at all on ultra but unfortunately you need an i7 or an overclocked CPU in order to get good frames. Now, for the most part, I do get 60+ frames but do dip below 60 on Narvik and other maps as well. Bugs were very minor for me and the game didn't crash once. Although sinking through the floor when reviving happens a lot. Dice really need the improve the game's performance for the average gamer PC.

    Now Battlefield 5 isn't perfect and we haven't even gotten past launch to see what dice is going to give for content but for 60$ the game is worth most of it right now. If you are unsure I would buy the 15 $ origin pass to try it out or at least wait after Christmas to see the progress i really hate how people just give this game a 0 because of changes. Really, change will happen sure it's not bf 4 content wise yet and customization isn't the same but at least they are listening to the community and that's something we should give our hopes for.    … Expand

    It is true though that the game wasn't ready for release, it has been rushed. There are quite some game breaking bugs. Hopefully EA will quickly fix that. However I respect their decision to release free DLCs for this game. Also, even    I think the game is very good, I already had a ton of fun with my friends.

Another round of subtle tweaks and improvements from BF1, but i can imagine many will still be wanting to see said improvements applied to a modern combat game with a wider range of vehicles and weapons.     To all the people pissing and moaning about there being too many women in multiplayer, you do know you can set the gender and appearance of every class as you want it, right?     I have played BF games since BF 2 on PC and all the way to this one. By my count that is 12 games before BFV. I love this multiplayer game. It is faster than BF1 and forces more tactical team play with limited health and ammo. It runs very well on the PS4 pro I use. There limited maps but I am not worried about it. I believe they will support the game as it goes on and the free contentI have played BF games since BF 2 on PC and all the way to this one. By my count that is 12 games before BFV.     Das beste Battlefield seit den dritten Teil. Gibt noch ein paar kleine Fehler, die aber in keinster Weise den Spaß an dem Spiel nehmen.
    Es sieht Top aus und die Karten sind sehr abwechslungsreich.
    Das Waffengefühl ist perfekt, genauso wie das Soundgefühl.

    Amazing game so far, just sad to see so many publishers in general push out games prior to their full development instead of letting the team work their magic to fullest! A bit less buggy and with some more implemented ideas from the dev team would be really awesome.     And here's my review, I have owned and played every single Battlefield game to date, and this one is amazing. I almost didn't purchase it, for lack of support for a hardcore mode, but after playing the base game, it's solid and is still totally worth picking up. Though I do really really hope they do add hardcore support. Which they kind of did for BF1 after launch. Here's hoping for something better.

    But I have to say, as a hardcore battlefield player the game feels much more toward that side. 3D spotting takes longer. I really like the new spotting mechanic, which doesnt automatically spot the enemy, bet lets your squad mates know the area you say an enemy. Also health doesn't always regen, you start with 1 health pack and can pick up more. For those new to the franchise, hardcore mode is with friendly fire turned on, mini-map off, enemy tags disabled, you don't automatically regen health, and bullet damage turned way up. I feel like they found solid middle-ground between the casual and hardcore player. Well done DICE, that's not an easy accomplishment.

    The map design is REALLY well done, so far I think some of the best of the series. they are really interactive and each match feels like it evolves a bit differently. Unlike some of the previous games (like BF4's metro map)

    My biggest complaint is with the UI, I find it way more confusing and less straight forward than any other battlefield game. Not sure what they were going for with this. It seems more difficult than it should be to track progression and unlocks.

    And of course, the audio design is unrivaled. Battlefield games have the best audio, and this one is no different. Although, I feel like perhaps BF1's is slightly better.

    The game is way more polished than a lot of the other reviews would have you believe. And it's only going to get better, as with every battlefield game (save for maybe Hardline).

    Also, as an added bonus, if you buy this game, you can say F--- YOU to immature misogynists! Win-win!    … Expand

    So, I didn't like BF1 really. I bit the bullet and bought BFV finally and it's honestly fantastic. I don't care about war stories and you can change your appearance to a man or whatever you want to be anytime you want. Gunplay is excellent compared to BF1 and team play is MUCH better, also no more explosive spam. I do miss my mortar though. It doesn't deserve a 10 yet though but it's defSo, I didn't like BF1 really. I bit the bullet and bought BFV finally and it's honestly fantastic.     Battlefield 5 hat aktuell noch mit einigen Bug´s zu kämpfen.

    Fantastic game, feels like bad company 2 multiplayer. People giving it a bad review because its "sjw" are just plain ridiculous, the only thing this game has different compared to the other ones is women. Cosmetics are also legit to the setting.

    Never have I ever played a more down to earth, genuine game that just spills with passion. The game feels and plays something close to a polished game from blizzard. The single-player stories are filled with life, even with little controversy, but that shouldn't effect the experience i gained from playing them.     I bought Call of duty black ops 4 and played it a bit , the game was super fun and i loved it , then 2 weeks later i bought battlefield 5 ... ever since i bought bf5 i couldnt stop playing it , i completely forgot about black ops 4. bf5 is such an amazing game , i been hooked on it since day one , been 2 weeks now since i have it and i already have 90h spent into the game, its the bestI bought Call of duty black ops 4 and played it a bit , the game was super fun and i loved it , then 2 weeks later i bought battlefield 5 ... ever since i bought bf5 i couldnt stop playing it , i completely forgot about black ops 4. bf5 is such an amazing game , i been hooked on it since day one , been 2 weeks now since i have it and i already have 90h spent into the game, its the best game i ever played in my life , every game its like a dose of heroine and i want more and more and moooore. Yeah there are a few bugs but they mostly got fixed with the dec5 patch , now its a smooth experience. i GIVE THIS GAME A 10/10 , ITS AMAZING.

Paso de andarme el modo online con todas las graficas al minimo entre 35 y 50 fps, a andarme en ultra a 60fps totalmente estable y sin niguna caida de fps. Hay muchos servidores con todos los modos de juego online activos, llenos 24/7 y absolutamente sin ping. Las gráficas y jugabilidad impecables, es mas difícil que los anteriores bf pq te tirotean de todos lados, pero es cuestión de tryhardearla y empezar a conocer los mapas y las armas, y todo empieza a fluir muy lindo. Exige mucho mas el juego en equipo, y los mapas son épicos. Hay muchas misiones activables que hacen el juego mucho mas interesante, y todo el contenido del juego se puede desbloquear jugando sin tener que pagar dinero extra, y comprando el juego base vienen incluidas todas las expansiones.     Being with the franchise as long as I have been with COD, little over a decade, it is nice to see WWII done with poetic ness and class that BF 1 did with WWI. Are there things I would change? Sure, but it is still fun. I enjoyed my experiences with the war stories and so far have not come across too game breaking in the multiplayer aspect.     Yes, i like to play male ww-soldiers, so i do. Some weapons are nice with other skins, others i like to play pure - yes you CAN! And who tell you that BF was, is or would ever be a game wants to tell you the real history of world wars? It's a GAME that uses different settings to create "good" immersions while having fun playing and tactical teamplay.

    I think BFV is excatly what it wants to be, without really big disappointments. Maybe you could say something about the single player (definitely 2 points deduction in the B grade), but come on... Please grab the first stone, if you buy BF because single player is the interesting part of the game.
    So now we have an real good BF from the start, with minor Bugs that should be solved (that's called patching - just sayin).

    I have played the early BFs till Bad Company 2, after this one the next BF catched me was BF1, because i liked the setting, but the bad game mechanics made it a runaway.

    After actual playtime in BFV till now, i like the additions of the old and the new BF-times, to get current game mechanics, graphics und gameplay in this good old setting. Good squad plays, a smart understanding of the playmodes, new game mechanics and dependencies of support (like tanks infantry) is the key to master.
    And this is why BFV is not a Call of Duty! Most people who die the fast way, think it's fast and casual and they have to play like that - you don't!

    Final words: Learn how to play smart and it would be awesome (even without good squadmembers, you could be the one!). BFV sets a good new standard and in my opinion it's well balanced (patches will come, and i hope they get the wright fixes). Some negative reviews are full of wrong "facts", which makes me sad and tired of correcting them. So I hope that the true reviews of Battlefield V will be available on the userside soon, because right now it's a joke.

Multiplayer (conquest, grind, grand operation) mode is the best way to enjoy. The "battle royale" mode tho, it takes long queue, so your choice

    3. Присутствует достаточно много визуальных и технических багов.

    The Medic is still an extremely important class because of the new regeneration system, and all around the Classes seems to be ballanced on a great way. The CORE-Teamplay (Reviving, resupplying, and fighting together is working absolutely fine to me!
    Another Point... BF5 left the path of being such an expensive DLC based game.
    It will be delivering Content for Free to all players. So GG to EA! Havent seen this for such a long time in a AAA production!
    The game itself feels great!
    Now one negative Point.
    It feels like we do have a little lack of Content on release.
    Especialy to mee i just want to see more of it! but i know there might be alot of you angry about it. It is a big point.

    In General i just can Say - Good Job to DICE.

The only gripe for me are the vehicles, which are not really that fun right now, but I trust Dice to fix that really soon. Honestly, I don't even care that much, because the infantry and team play are so much improved that you don't really want to go into an airplane or a tank.

    The game got a bad hype out of the gate. But if you choose your games based on that, you are missing out.

    There is a lot of people right now trying to jump on the hate train, especially mid/low tier YouTubers who see it as a way of getting a few more like and subs. Don't let them influence you. Pick up this game and make your own mind.    … Expand

    I'm not the type to complain about historical facts and such, I'm the type who just tries to enjoy games as much as possible. That is also what I did with Battlefield V. Almost 300h on pvp (this is actually the first Battlefield on which I haven't played the campaign/story mode due to having access to the closed alpha. I usually used the campaign/story mode to get a feel for the game before going into pvp) and I'm still having a blast!
    I do wish they'll add more maps into the game soon as 9 maps just isn't that much. Also there are like 3 or 4 maps I never play because they are not my favorite (Fjell, Twisted Steel, Panzerstorm for example I barely ever play) so the map pool is quite small.

    But if you have loved Battlefield in the past purely because of the gameplay then I'm pretty sure you won't be dissapointed.
    The only thing dissapointing to me is they released this game into the public when it just wasn't ready. And because they did they got a lot of **** for it and rightfully so. But give credit where credit is due. They improved the game A LOT since launch and the experience has become smoother and smoother for me.

    Firestorm is almost here (unless they postpone it which wouldn't surprise me) and when it is I would say Battlefield V is at a point where the sales price is finally justified.

    So in brief, yes, the game launched at a terrible state, should NOT have been launched back then.
    No, this is not a bad game by any means. The fun factor in this game is way higher than in most FPS games nowadays. The only FPS I've played last couple years with about the same amount of fun in it is Rainbow Six Siege. And yes I have practically played almost every AAA FPS game from the last couple of years. I am honestly blown away by the amount of bad reviews this game has gotten. One would think this game is as bad as Fallout 76 (don't even bother thinking of buying that game, it literally is the worst game ever) which is totally unfair and just plain stupid!

    So if you're a Battlefield veteran like me and play because of the gameplay and not all the other things surrounding it (historical accuracy, womens in the game and such) then trust me you will defenitely have fun with this!    … Expand

    I dont get all the hate for this game, it is fun to play and a step up from BF1
    + Better gunplay, faster paced, fewer sniper-campers and solid mechanics.
    + No dlc / premium / micro transactions (unless you really want to for some reason)
    - Not a lot of content on launch, but it is getting better.

    -/+ Can select character colour and sex (for those who like to keep it historically accurate)

I really enjoyed the Last Tiger Mission, it was outstanding and nice to see the war from the german view. Microstransactions can only be used for cosmetics so it's everyone's own choice if he/she wants to buy a skin or not. Also one can't criticise BF5 for having them while enjoying other titles with the same System (OW, Anthem,Fortnite, Fifa,...). I think the ratings aren't quite as objective as they should be.

    This game is definitely not a 10 but I just feel like countering all these 0 reviews. Yes, having 50% soldiers as females is stupid, yes all this SJW **** is bad. What isn't bad is gameplay itself, multiplayer is great and I really enjoy both infantry and vehicle gameplay (planes not so much though, but I might spend some time learning them properly later).     Don't believe the people still mad that EA put a one armed chick in their trailer, the game is great. A little buggy of a release, but a patch coming tomorrow that should fix most issues. Fun to play.

    That's the best Battlefield game so far. Gameplay is great. Great optimization and graphic. You feel like participate in real war. Game has great maps.
    Single player content is short and nothing special, but you don't buy battlefield for single player experience.

    Awesome game! AAA visuals, shooting feels great, overall quality shows here. Glad to see single player is still a thing, i think its important to include in the Battlefield series, even if its not where you spend much time.     Gorgeous, expansive, realistic (or at least as much as an FPS can be), and simply loaded to the brim with content — in short, every bit as good as its predecessors. I don't mind the minor anachronisms (although I'm surprised that my fellow gamer Millennials cared about historical precision this much).

    I have more hours in this Battlefield than others so I guess that itself makes it a good game in my mind's eye. The division of tactical maps from strategic maps is imo the best part of BFV that separates it from previous games. Overall pretty much everything is done well. The downside to the game is the people who play it.     this time around I didn’t care much for the multiplayer… I don’t know if recent advancements have just made me less patient in the multiplayer world, but here in batt;efield 5 it feels like spawn die spawn die.. worse than recent call of dudtys.. but the time it takes to actually get back in the game makes battlefield 5 multiplayer from firestorm, to the modes youre used to just frustrating to play through for me… so I pushed that to the side and just focused on its 5 and a half hour long campaign..
    And thankfully the campaign here is beautiful.. so much attention to detail here… and a nice varity when it comes to the levels as you go across 5 different war stories… all with different languages.. so sadly if youre like me and hate subtitles.. you don’t relaly have a choice here if you want to know whats going on… I love that battlefield 5 at least tried to deliver a unique experience in each of the 5 stories.. but not nearly as much as battlefield 1… all 5 stories stuck out here.. but mostly for its setting aside for a snow level whee you get to travers with skiis, really having me wishing for a first person ssx game… but in terms of level design overall, all 5 chapters felt pretty identical, same objective, different location.. g oacross this open map, make stuff explode, rinse repeat with some cutscenes in between… I feel like dice needs to really take note from the call of duty team with their recent emphasis on variety throughout their campaigns… at times battlefield 5 does feel like its delivering mini first person shooter games inside one world… but most of the time, it all feels too familiar, having you wanting it to just be over alredy, rather thaan feeling like wow, what an amazing 5 stories like they did last time..
    Overall im kind of over battlefield multiplayer, but as far as its singplayer goes, I really hope dice hone in on this, and delivers us more fleshed out mini stories, that don’t feel so copy and paste when it comes to objectives and delivery. I feel like this could help with the constant immersion breaking return to combat area countdown . its fine every once in a while, but constantly being told to get back in a quote unquote open world setting, just shows a lack of care when it comes to designing your experience.. it feels like a bandaid forcing you to be in the spot the game wants you to be in, rather design doing its job of keeping you there.
    I havnt given up on this series yet, and at least for its war stories, Ill have a reason to keep coming back.

    - A lot of the multiplayer maps are too infantry focused an miss that "Battlefield" feeling: Devastation, Rotterdam, Fjell, Narvik: All pretty small and vehicles don't play a significant role.
    - Lacks the iconic WW2 battles (Stalingrad, D-day, Operation Market Garden, Battle of the Bulge, Iwo Jima, etc.). Feels much less like WW2 than even the original BF1942.
    - The grand operations mode is disappointing: not as good as Operations in BF1
    - Chaotic interface with a lot of visual clutter
    - Too much cosmetic B/S for the guns etc.

    All in all I have had a lot of fun with this game so far, 20 hours in. But they will need to add some more content and maps soon, or it will start to feel old really quickly.    … Expand

    Though the graphic settings are pretty bugged for me (HDR fail and resolution bugs),
    this game looks still like the best I've seen up to date (thanx GTX 1080! => 1440p60p with HDR and settings on ultra). Glad I bought it for PC not PS4 pro this time.
    I only think there should've been 1-2 more maps for launch, or that Battleroyale mode....but hey...it comes in 2 months now.

    Let me do a summary for the whiners:
    - single player doesn't matter, never mattered once!
    - TTK whiner, get a life
    - historical accuracy, who cares this is a semi-arcade multiplayer shooter with just enough realisic elements to stay fun

    This game for me is one of the best battlefields ive ever played. The negative review bombing afected the future development and i dont think that we will be seeing a red army update. As for the history - read books, there are tons of them- this is a videogame ispired by historical events not a ww2 documentary - and walking around with a chick medic is totaly my cup of tea.

    To me most of the reviews which are very low seem like people played the game for 20 mins and got steam rolled by a better team and just jumped on the bandwagon and whined about the game, which is fair enough.

    The game itself feels like a classic battlefield. They've done some good adjustments from BF1 (I've played BF since the first when I was but a child), and I'm sure they will continually listen to feedback and do adjustments as deemed nesessary. The gameplay feels good, the graphics are great (running on a 1080gtx), the vehicles are spot on..

    As a battlefield fan and veteran, and lover of ww2 history, I give this game an 8/10. If you like BF and WW2, and have some money to spare, and an ok+ gaming pc, I'd give this a shot. If you have a **** computer, and don't have much money at the moment, I would recommend you pass (until the price drops in some months).

    I am a huge fan of the series and I've played since bf1942. I just have to say that this is the best one, even better than bfbc2 and that is to say a lot!
    This game has received a lot of unwarranted hate and I believe most 0s come from people who never actually played the game.
    I enjoy the hell out of this game!

    Great game with new mechanics improving the immersion to WW2. Hopefully we will see a good amount of extra content in the future as currently it is a bit lacking. Adding female soldiers to a WW2 game was a questionable choice though.

    Gamemodes: So far my favorite gamemode is Breakthrough over the traditional Conquest, unlike conquest Breakthrough is mode based on teamwork and "playing the game", and you actually get to appreciate the map, breakthrough start by fighting sectors of the map represented by 1 or 2 capture points, If youre on the offensive side you only have 200 tickets to capture the sector while defenders just have to hold the sector for certain time and they also have unlimited lives, in some maps during the first phase the attackers can bring tanks which you have to use wisely because as you keep capturing sectors the enemy is going to be able to spawn tanks too, this battles can last around 30-40 minutes and like in all of the Battlefield games this is going to be good as long as your squad is working together.

    Classes
    The assault class is the spearhead of any squad, they either carry Assault rifles or Semi Automatic rifles they are also the ones who are better equipped to fight tanks or fortified positions with dynamite and other anti tank weapons.

    The medics class needs no explanation, they are in charge of healing and reviving the team and they are armed with Sub machine guns, they also carry a useful smoke grenade rifle to cover your advance or retreat.

    The support class is the one who provides you with ammo, it also fortify the objectives and repair tanks, its better suited to hold the objective and provide suppressive fire, they carry Light machine guns, Medium machine guns and Shotguns in case you like to get closer to the action, they carry anti tank mines which can be really useful while defending the objectives.

    The scout class is no brainer, they are responsible for spotting enemies and taking them from afar, they are equipped with the traditional Bolt action rifles and Self loading rifles who have a better rate of fire, you can also use a flare gun to detect enemies within a certain range.

    Weapons
    Some people said that there isn't enough weapons, its a "valid" point but this isnt going to be a big deal for most of the people.

    Other Details
    I think the increased damage(TTK) is a good thing, this isnt a futuristic shooter like halo or crysis where you could survive 15-20 high caliber bullets, the game needs more tanks and they need to be harder to upgrade, same with planes, i see no reason to have 4 planes with 2 variants each.

    I know that my "review" is going to be overlooked by those who are reviewbombing the game and i think it is really bad from Metacritic to not have some sort of control from who can review the games

    I love BF3 & 4. Each I spent more than 1000 hours. BF1 not the game for me. However, this one is a gem. I am a tank player mostly. This game is the one for sure, after long experience with the bf games. Do not listen to the haters. This one fits my needs.

I must admit, I was at first reluctant to make the purchase of BFVI am a Battlefield Veteran and have owned all of the series since the very first (as well as Battlefront). After spending many hours in multiplayer and single player campaign, I can honestly say this one is one of the best yet, if not the best! BFV has wonderful gameplay, beautiful graphics, and extreme attention to detail. I must admit, I was at first reluctant to make the purchase of BFV with all the negative reviews but after the first major patch and huge discount, I felt there wasn't much to lose (but $40). I am SO HAPPY I purchased this game. Even the single player is very well done; great story, interesting character development and cinematic, and a lot of fun to play.

    For all of those out there complaining about this game, I can't help but wonder if they have given it a fair shake. I also feel that many of us in the gaming community have become spoiled children demanding everything and not giving the developers their fair recognition and praise. Sure, EA (and other publishers) pushes developers to pump out games at an unrealistic rate, but the devs still work hard to bring us these games to enjoy. Certainly there are some developers and publishers that pump out games for cash grabs, but this isn't the case here!

    If you are still on the fence whether or not to purchase this game, I say GO FOR IT! You will not be disappointed. Besides, you know Dice will continue to improve upon this game with additional DLC and enhancements. Put aside the politics and enjoy the game for what it is; a magnificent fps with great graphics, excellent multiplayer squad based tactics, superior gameplay, and fun to be had!    … Expand

Milennials are a freaking mess.

    Is it perfect? Nah. That goes without saying. I mean, it's no APEX LEGENDS or CoD but it'll do. /sarcasm

    One of the problems with this game is it's so beautiful you need a nuclear powered gaming rig to be able to play it at any meaningful resolution. They need to scale that back a bit. I have an RTX 2080ti and an i7 and my system warms up.

    The weapon grind... mmm... It was annoying in BF4 (I skipped BF1) but there were all manner of modern weapons to choose from. The grind, though comparatively short, can be painful when you're running through trees of single shot rifles you actually have to aim with. And that's an issue because...

    The gunplay doesn't FEEL the same as BF4. In BF4 I could raise an MG4, aim and fire knuckles directly into someone's face hitting with like 8 of 10 rounds fired. In this game? I don't know what it is. I've fired up BF4, slapped some people, turned it off and fired up BFV... missed EVERYTHING. It takes a while to get used to the newer gun handling.

    I love the stationary weapons and vehicles. If you're whining about vehicles in a Battlefield installment you're stupid. Period. It's what battlefield has always been about - playstyle diversity! Go play Apex Legends and dry your millennial eyes with printouts of Elon Musk doing the scooter dance. (Yeah Yeah! He's a young CEO...Suge!)

    Already, toxic little snot nosed manbabies are choking this game out and it's sad. What's even more fun is listening to them moan IN GAME. They play every freaking day - but can't stop crying. People in Metacritic who gave this game a 1 are most likely playing as I type this. smh

    Get it. Just make sure you pay attention to the system requirements and get real. Also, if you're crying because Asian and Black people appeared in a video game? Don't bother. BFV will hurt your feelings as there are men AND women of color in this... just like there were in WWII.    … Expand

All DLCs will be free because there is no Premium Pass BUT Female characters are breaking the atmosphere of realistic warfare.     This game was basically in beta when it launched and took several months before they added anything at all. At this point it's a solid experience.

А самое главное - разработчики решили не вводить премиум и платные DLC, за что моя еврейская душа говорит большое спасибо, хаха. Искренне не понимаю тех, кто хейтит данный продукт.     BF4 was great but I didnt enjoyed as much.
    BF1 was a no-go for me and still feels like a low quality shooter. BF5 had a very rough start but damn the animation and gameplay kept me playing it. I also met people like in BF3 I felt like a deeper connection with my squad than in the previous BF games maybe the feeling that someone is risking his in-game    I spent thousand of hours in BF3,

    It’s far from being ideal but all the glitches and shortcomings don’t ruin the overall fun of Battlefield V’s multiplayer experience. Although the single player portion of the game is not bad at all, I would have been disappointed if I bought the game just for it. [13/2018, p.56]

    In Battlefield V we got back to WW2, but with refined gunplay and death system which works great. There are also little problems such as low number of maps and stability issues, that are taking the fun away, but nothing that can't be fixed.

    A great World War II shooter that will grow and improve. Do not buy the game because of its singleplayer, but if you consider the campaign a bonus to the multiplayer, you will be satisfied. [Issue#291]
