The game is well-developed, colorful and full of fantastic narrative elements to experience within the game world.
During my hours spent in the first two planets of Batora I was able to admire the races and the fast-paced, super adrenaline-fueled combat system! I can't wait to see where the story will take me.

The art style is unique and extremely fancy, gameplay is smooth and the combat system is easy to learn and hard to master, like all good gdr games should be.
The top-down rpg genre is very crowded but this game has it's own unique feel and it's different from all the rest

Amazing colors and story! This game fulfills a great meaning and you can grow through Avril's story. I just completed the game, I loved the intensity that the story takes on. Initially, it seems linear, but then it’s a crescendo of emotions. I would like to make a special mention for the visual style, the colors, and the composition of the planets, they make the game unique.

I'm really enjoying this new indie game made by Stormind Games. It winks an eye to titles like Bastion or Transistor, but finds its originality in a more consistent plot.

Earth is on the verge to collapse and everything is in ruin. Two gods (Sun and Moon) lend her their powers and she becomes the hero whose task is to collect powers from other worlds cores and, by doing that, heal her own planet.
The two gods, in terms of gameplay, let her switch between offensive melee attacks (Sun) and long range magical shots (Moon) and, as the story goes on, she learns new abilities and get more powerful.

Regarding the plot itself, in many occasions she can respond with a strong and almost arrogant way (inspired by the Sun), or with a meditative and sensible argument (Moon, of course). This probably lends to different scenarios in the game (I'm not yet sure), but it's a promising feature.

The art is stunning and impressive: each world has its own style, characteristics and inhabitants. Lights and colors catch your eye on each map you come across. Sound track is pleasant, voice acting is really cool.
There are also zelda-like puzzles and I personally appreciate them because they give some variety.

If you look for nice arts, puzzles, challenging enemies, cool story, buy this indie game and you won't regret it!

I'll start by saying that Batora is fascinating me a lot, I have played RPG games and similar in the past, and I honestly must say that this ends up in my top 5. I really think this game will give me even more emotions in the long run, I highly recommend it! Expand

    Ok, that was unexpected.
At the beginning it all felt so naive, but after a pair of hours I have been sucked into a series of hard choices that really broke me. I loved it. The combat system quickly turned into a great one too, with positioning, good timing and a lot of strategy required!
    A true hidden treasure!

From the very first hours the game manages to catch you thanks to its well-written history. You can see the team's commitment to making it happen, it's a lot of fun to play and has some interesting mechanics. I personally like the graphic style very much, for the price at which it is sold it is absolutely worth it

This game is amazing!! I had a great time together with my children, we got to know so many races of npcs, the worlds are really colorful and inspired, the art stile looks gorgeous.
The fights are well balanced and the feeling is dope, cool vfx and the chance to have raytracing, also the game is very smooth and has no bugs. Stormind did a really good job with this Batora Lost Haven!

This is a hidden gem and you can instantly see that during the first 15mins of gameplay.
Addictive isometric combat meets choice-based story in a cartoon sci-fi setting.

The game gives you a very good mix of action, exploration, puzzles and boss fights. The main character has a double nature, physical vs spiritual, that adds variety and fun to every fight and strategic move to be made. You can define your fighting style with the progression and improve it at every encounter, and the more you acquire skills the better it gets.

The multiple choices systems sets the ground for longevity and replayability, a nice variety of environments, alien species and characters makes you enjoy the journey through all the planets of this beautifully crafted universe.

Delightful for the eyes, pure joy as a game.
    Highly recommended!

Batora: Lost Haven is a competent and mostly enjoyable action game. It has one big idea, the two natures of both Avril and her enemies, but never uses it in any truly unique ways. After a few hours, only the boss battles manage to break up the monotony. The puzzle element of the game is mostly filler. Avril and Mira make a good pair of protagonists but the rest of the narrative is not as exciting. Batora: Lost Haven needs to be more daring with its unique idea when it comes to both combat and puzzles.

Overall, Batora: Lost Haven is a fun game, albeit with a few shortcomings. The dialogue and the cartoonish visuals appeal to a younger audience. Meanwhile, the detailed statistics and complex controls make it feel more mature. Are you a fan of sci-fi action games or isometric action RPGs in general? Then Batora: Lost Haven could be a worthwhile game to sink your teeth into.

I come away from Batora: Lost Haven greatly disappointed. With tedious dialogue, a mediocre narrative, and thin gameplay structure, Batora is only salvaged by its adequate combat, respectable art, and a mercifully short runtime.
