    This game is amazing. Fast combat and has one of the most beautifully drawn levels and graphics I have ever seen for a 2D game. Every boss fight is different and the level puzzles aren't difficult. There are multiple weapons that give variety in how you play. The story is a 7/10 and nothing too exciting but we came here for the combat and we are left satisfied.

    Ну что тут можно сказать. Маленький шедевр от маленькой студии, которой ещё только предстояло (в 2011 году) стать известной на весь мир. Довольно простой, но интересный геймплей (немного не понимаю, почему эту игру называют ролевой, хотя ролевых элементов в ней не больше, чем в каких-нибудь метроидваниях в духе Ori and the Will of the Wisps), заключающийся в повествовательном    8.5/10

Внешний вид и происходящие в игре события действительно очень психоделичны и необычны, и при этом в них нет ничего лишнего (наоборот хочется бОльшего, так как игра очень коротка, и состояние потока способны продлить лишь достижения-челленджи). Ну и снова повторюсь, музыка просто отличная. В какой ещё игре можно бомбить газовчан и мусороглотов катастрофной пушкой и охранной турелью из Portal под индастриал-даунтемпо-фолктронику с элементами индийской музыки?    … Expand

    Bastion is amazing storydriven action with few RPG elements, highly recommend it to anyone who is even slightly interesting in videogames. Music, visuals, atmosphere, characters and story - everything is amazing. Combat and movement may be a little clunky at times, but it is very minor flaw.

    Easily in my top 3 games of all time. Fantastic art, story(with amazing narration), the BEST ost of any game I have ever played bar none, and well-written characters all rolled-in with a solid isometric action game. Recommended for anybody without a pretentious opinion.

    Creative storytelling, beautiful concept art, Heart-warming original music, beautiful sound design, etc.. whatever we put our finger on Bastion , the first game made by indie company Supergiant games is just confirmation on how this game is a pure masterpiece. In other hand, Bastion is not just a Fantasy game but a magical realism that can be talked about years after it released.Creative storytelling, beautiful concept art, Heart-warming original music, beautiful sound design, etc.. whatever we put our finger on Bastion , the first game made by indie company Supergiant games is just confirmation on how this game is a pure masterpiece.     I didn't know what to expect about Bastion and the game took me by surprise. Fresh, but simple gameplay, with original setting and cool graphic. Great idea with a narrator who comments your actions in humorous way. And add to this big replayability, possibility of developing your "base", superb soundtrack and challenging gameplay - you've got a great hit.

    This is a game that truly showed what SuperGiant Games had to offer. Beautiful music and art are just the very top of a game that has interesting characters, a cool gameplay full of action and an amazing story that truly made me cry in the ending.

    A true adventure game. The music and artwork is just fantastic. The game looks simple on the surface, but you get a great story and unique story-telling experience, with a superb and creative choice of weapons, upgrades, and skills making it quite the experience however you want to play it! Definitely recommend it highly!

    This game starts with the world unfold around you, with great visuals and a fantastic narration that follows along your journey. It also had a decent weapon selection that was complimented with some light upgrading, and I loves my weapon upgrading in games. While your traverse these well made dungeons you're accompanied by a great soundtrack that hits all the right notes. The whole time the game has a slight western theme and the music will keep a sombre tone at times and then kick in for battling at other times, fitting extremely well with the game. Whoever made the music for this game deserves a ton of praise.

    The game can feel clunky at times especially with the strange controls, at least for me, I'm not that used to these click in the direction you want games and often found myself swinging in the wrong direction. Also the skill level felt low for your progression, I always has the feeling like I was ahead of my enemy in terms of strength and the game felt a bit easy for how short it was.

    The verdict though being the game is great and deserves a spot in everyone's library and will easily invite everyone in for a great time, be it with the music or game-play, the game is just great.    … Expand

    I bought this game on 2012 during a Humble Bundle sale. I installed and liked it but I kept losing so I uninstalled it. 8 years later I decide to give it another go.. and oh boy, what I ride. Not only I can see how i've matured as a vg player since the things that made me lose over and over now I see them as regrets. The soundtrack, the audio, the art, all of them blend together in aI bought this game on 2012 during a Humble Bundle sale.     One of my favorite games of all time. Played it near its release date when it came out (featured in Humble Bundle 1 I believe). Best soundtrack ever, it's simply amazing. Characters were good too.

    I don't know where to begin, the soundtrack is amazing, the level design is so creative, the art style is so colourful. Honestly the team outdid themselves with this masterpiece

    Wonderful indie game, little weird at first but you will quickly get sucked into it. The narrator's voice-over and music is one of the major things that make this game a memorable experience.

    Es un poco difícil entender la historia si no entiendes ingles ya que es difícil seguir la acción y leer al mismo tiempo, además de que a veces los subtítulos pasan rápido, sacando eso es un juego dinámico y divertido con un buen gameplay

    Wholesome characters and story with fitting music and artstyle. The story-telling is unusual. You have to experiment with different weapon combos and fighting strategies. On highest difficulty the game can be quite challenging.

    an amazing story told by an amazing narrator set in a beautiful world combined with fun level design and combat, combined with a new game plus that makes it incredibly replayable and multiple endings which are all beautfiul ends to the amazing story
