    Legendary role-playing game. Took me about 300 hours to clear it. It was amazing and unforgettable adventure.

    Loved the iPad version. I played through the PC original several times when it was new. The iPad version works great. I had no issues with the controls, the new content was decent and the new characters made an evil party have a bit more variety. Having one of the greatest and largest games ever on a portable system is amazing. The story and user interface hold up really well. Personally ILoved the iPad version.     A solid sequel that is pretty much more of the same. The characters and story are interesting from what I played.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. BG2 is the epitome of RPG in which all other RPGs will be compared. That said, the “additions” to the enhanced addition are a waste. I have only used two of the added companions simply because the writing for them is terrible (one I use is Wilson, a bear, who doesn’t talk). Not to mention two of them are just SJW/woke writers wet dream (a bland African lesbian vampire, and a brooding pan sexual/bi half orc, I mean come on!!!). On top of that the bugs and crashes always happen at the worst times like after you haven’t saved after clearing a map and just before or during the auto save.… Expand

Behind all the **** of dialog, most of the plot revolves around you trying to save your childhood friend who turned out to be a "Bhaal spawn" as well. Wow right! Companions are uninteresting and you either feel bored or annoyed by their antics.… Expand

Unfortunately, the combat and inventory management components of the game are burdensome, with an excessive amount of time devoted to necessary pre-combat buffs and mid-combat pauses.     Fun game from the past that still outshines most new games in all areas except graphics. Baldur's Gate II is a brilliant game, and still profoundly fun today. I was able to find some of my old offline play saves, which made an enjoyable experience even more so.     The enhanced edition made some questionable additions, but we set it right by staying true to the character's persona. In all, I was able to enjoy killing Hexxat 7 times, and did not realize she was an attempt of a party member addition until the quest would not display finished. "Look's like the Cloak of Dragomir is OldManGamer's now."

    Vampire kills woman pleading for her life in front of you and then says how you will make a great team. 10/10 would kill Hexxat again.    … Expand

    I am a western RPG fan and I have played a ton of them over the years, now after replaying this game on PS4 I can confirm that IMO BG2 is the best one.
    The companions, locations, dialogues, side quests, world building, enemies and D&D ruleset adoption are just exquisite. It's surprising how modern RPGs lack elements that were present on this game more than 20 years ago and how the current    I am a western RPG fan and I have played a ton of them over the years, now after replaying this game on PS4 I can confirm that IMO BG2 is the best one.
    The companions, locations, dialogues, side quests, world building, enemies and D&D ruleset adoption are just exquisite. It's surprising how modern RPGs lack elements that were present on this game more than 20 years ago and how the current political agenda of the industry has negatively affected them.
    I am not giving it a perfect score because it crashes a lot on Ps4 (specially during the Throne of Bhaal expansion) and because the newly introduced companions are mediocre, woke and forgettable.
    Regarding the PS4 version the controls have been correctly adapted to the pad and the text size can be adapted to be readable on big TVs.    … Expand

    BG2 is huge, it's fun, and it's a classic. If you don't like this game, you don't understand RPGs. It's one of the most replayable, most fun games I've ever played. The enhanced edition brings in a lot of welcome changes and new characters to the classic version. I have sunk hundreds of hours into this game and CANNOT RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH. This was a brilliant effort to renew one of myBG2 is huge, it's fun, and it's a classic. If you don't like this game, you don't understand RPGs. The real time strategy with pause element makes you feel like you're overseeing a full battlefield, rather than playing a turn-based combat game (like many modern sprawling RPGs do, like Divinity). The classes and magic systems are so well-realized and interesting that you will want to replay and replay it just to get a taste of all the game has to offer! The NPCs and voice acting are fantastic, the quests are detailed and fun.

    хрень.с ужасной прокачкой персонажа.а так же квестами.где тебя в начальных квестах ждут серьезные противники.

    只推薦給喜歡D&D的玩家，遊戲從職業到各種裝備，都有詳細的文字去說明故事背景，神兵利器的文字解說，更是精彩絕倫。遊戲劇情的對話讓玩家自由選擇與回答，當然選擇也會伴隨著各種後果，喜歡角色扮演的玩家，不能錯過這款遊戲。

    I started a Turn-Based Combat with some turrets at Arcane Tower in the Underdark.
    I then used the plant to Power-up the tower (near the elevator, first floor), the turrets were shut down but I am still in Turn-Based Combat.
    Tried to distance myself from the "battle" area, my full party is near Selunite outpost and I AM STILL LOCKED IN TURN-BASED COMBAT. That is beyond frustrating and    I started a Turn-Based Combat with some turrets at Arcane Tower in the Underdark.

    I moved all the way to Selunite outpost, used the stairs to change location, still didnt work.
    Tried to use the ancient runes to fast travel and couldnt do it. I FREAKING LOST MY LVL 6 SAVE.    … Expand

    It's a great chance for all the fans out there to relive history of western RPG. Enhanced graphics and interface make this a great remaster of an immortal classic.

    There’s no doubt that Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition is a product of its time, but there’s also no doubt that it’s an absolute classic of the RPG genre.
