masterpiece, without a doubt the effort and affection that the game has is noticeable. It's the first one that makes me feel like I'm really playing the board game, even the stats and character progress are 100% accurate

BG 3 - is a great party role-playing game that forces you to immerse yourself in a magical world of intrigue, exciting battles and difficult decisions. At the time of the game's release, both I and my friends had almost no bugs. Optimization did not cause complaints. Interesting and thoughtful characters, beautiful and thoughtful locations. Decisions have an impact on the progress of the game. There is always a desire to start the game from the beginning to try to pass this or that place in a different way or with a different hero.
The plot is interesting and works with the player very well. It allows you to read a few steps ahead and build your own guesses and theories, which adds to the intrigue - did I guess right?
The combat system is what you would expect from a game like this and from DnD. Yes, some battles may take a long time, but at the same time, they require you to think more, require more creativity. And they are sincerely rewarded for it. The game is worth your time and attention. The game is worth the money. I currently, for me, this is the number one contender for the title of Game of the Year.
Of course, if your computer does not meet the system requirements, if your hardware is outdated, you may have some problems. But this is by no means a problem with the game (my friends played the game on weak PCs without any bugs at minimum settings).
Of course, this game will not be suitable for those who do not like to strain their brains, for those who are used to one-button gameplay (hello, Diablo fans), for those who are used to primitive gameplay (like popular shooters).
For these people, the game will be too difficult and it will cause a negative reaction (below there are already reviews from such people :) )
For players who are not familiar with this genre of games, it is better to take something a little simpler for familiarization, the earlier games Larian or Dragon Age, and only then return to BG 3.
The same beginners who are ready to take risks - be patient and you will be rewarded, because the game will give you a lot of pleasant emotions.

A new standard for RPGs and character dynamics. BG3 actually lets you feel like your character ranging not just from combat, but to character interactions and dialogue.

This is the best game ever made in 5-7 years. Magnus Opus from Larian Studios, they have been mastering their skills to create a great Turn-base RPG for more than 25 years.
If you want the game being PERFECT from any perspective - wait for a few months for the game to get some patches. They will fix perfomance issues, balance issues and etc.

A great game by Larian studio. An amazing adventure. A hugely expanded game with tons of gameplay options. For a fan of rpg games a must-have item. I recommend and look forward to the console release as well. One of the few games to which with a clear conscience I can give 10/10.

This is the best CRPG game I have ever played and I have played a lot of them.

It may even be one of the best games I have ever played. Definitely in my top five and I've been gaming since the SNES. If you're into this genre it's a must play. If you're into gaming it's worth a try. I'll admit; it won't be for everyone. For what it offers itself as though; masterfully done,

That, along with the goodwill they rightful earned, is why they have been given a pass by most gamers. Whether thats right or wrong, you tell me.

The story and character development ranges in quality from mediocre to masterful. The combat is very fun even though i dislike pretty much every turn based game. Theres so many options for player choice in build, execution and agency that it can be overwhelming (at least in the class i chose). I think ill give more crpgs a chance and thats a great compliment to Larian.

Any review complaining about "wokeness" can be disregarded as political whining. Larian made the game they wanted to thats not full of microtransactions and thats what i want from devs. I'm glad Larian was in the position to be able to deliver that to us. Even if you're not a fan of the game its a net positive for gamers to have another massive successful in the standard business model.

This game made me make an account and care to rate it. I dont care much for opinions, or people putting things on a pedestal but this game deserves GOTY or decade for that matter.

Everything is well thought out and meticulous. There's actual story that isnt rehashed, and a myriad of options on how to deal with things. Well done, Larian.

This game made me feel like a little kid, trying to beat the genius of our DM in our old D&D gang again. Story is amazing. You can lose yourself in the side quests for hours. The fact that it allows you to have creative freedom to tackle any challenge thrown at you is exactly how a D&D game should be. In every sense, BG3 delivered on expectations and more... well done!

Baldur's Gate III is an incredible adventure, it's not a game anymore, it's an experience,

how much love the developers put into it, it really feels like I'm in the middle ages and the atmosphere is so exciting, pulsating and then fed with romance, it's challenging, you have to plan your next move very often (Balanced played), personally it was so much fun to "decide" this freedom alone

I haven't felt so obligated to help an NPC in a long time =D
This game is unique, the amount of ways to progress and master battles is incredible.
The feature saving and loading the game and that has pros and cons in my eyes, but even that is still great.
    I give this game

    100 /100 Chocos

    Pro:
    ______
    - endless story

-You really get immersed in the game and have to think about what you're doing.

-Actions have consequences, that's so awesome

    - Tactics are required in battles

    - The music is very good, the first time I turn up the BGM ( -The map design is insane and the fact that everything about the map has a purpose and there is fast travel and 1,000 secrets to find.

    -Multiclassing

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. It is one of the best CRPGs ever- plenty to see, do, experience and think about.
The only Con that I see, imho, is that the game is always stressing you out- death by tadpole, death by curse, refugees running, death by companion death, death by brain, death by Emperor... in no particular order. I remember entering Athkatla and having some time feeling free exploring. You can certainly explore in BG3, but you never feel at ease. The bomb is always there, ready to explode!
Apart from that, what a joy to see a secsy Minsc and a stressed out Jaheira. Some puzzles and fights are prepared in an exciting way, the story is well narrated with some excellent character design and some scenes will always live rent free in my head. I also like how some areas remind of the glory of religious design in Bg2 (the Umberlee temple). 120h in and I'm looking forward to replay as the Dark Urge when I'm done with the 1st run. Some bugs here and there but this game is definitely an artistic achievement that should be celebrated. I'd wish for Larian to repeat this joyous achievement! Economic & artistic successes can go together, as this game proves.

With a vast world to explore with varied stories and secrets to discover, Baldur's Gate 3 definitely shines. The cast is largely appealing and voice acting is top notch all-around, even if the storytelling and line delivery is varied in its pace. Character progression is somewhat weak in the opening levels but has a strong foundation for a great buildcraft experience, even if it lacks some on the fly experimentation seen in Larian's past efforts. Despite some performance woes in the later parts of the game and controller hangups, this is a journey worth taking for fans of Dungeons & Dragons or those new to the role playing field.

Larian Studios, the creators of the latest installment, have gone to great lengths to make sure they didn't disgrace any of the franchise's building blocks. The love and care is evident in Baldur's Gate 3, though needless to pretend, there aren't a few bricks crumbling here and there in this monument. It's far from a perfect title, but on the whole Baldur's Gate 3 is a brilliant computer RPG that is undoubtedly not to be overlooked. [Issue#329]

Baldur’s Gate III is a title that many would not have thought possible just a few years ago. The game serves to further Larian Studios’s already strong reputation, and the studio deserves massive credit for refusing to panic, taking its time to get things right, and continuing to offer improvements even after launch at an impressive rate. Hopefully, it is able to reap the richly deserved rewards for doing so.
