    Such an ugly game. When will game developers realize that (most) live service games are simply not profitable? This game looks like it is from ps3 honestly. Staring at a wall would give you more entertainment than this.

    Pathetic game from a big studio. Looks like 2 gens back and the play is very clunky and choppy. I guess it was more important for them to push the newest fad of "body a" and "body b" instead of male/female.

    Can we agree, that Square Enix have some subdivision to making horrible games? I mean Balan Wonderworld, Quiet Man, Left Alive, Fear Effect: Sedna, Marvel Avengers, Mindjack and now this travesty.

    This is the problem with the greediness. There's absolutely no reason to sell a AAA game in a price of a "next gen console" for PC. PC is not a next gen console so please leave this **** from this platform. Also the game costs 70€ which is already expensive but turned out, there are tons and tons of microtransaction!     Honestly booting up this game I thought I was hallucinating with how horrible the character graphics were. The enemies and NPCs have a bit more effort in them but on a PS5... how low poly and just utterly boring designs did they think they were going to get away with? I thought my system was having a failure.     Then going into the prologue tutorial the combat felt like mediocre. I mean... I don't want to blame SE on this one they didn't code this poop they just were the money people.

    A premium priced game that’s actually more expensive than many other great premium games out there, whilst incorporating predatory microtransactions akin to something you would find in a f2p mobile game. All of which overshadows the mediocre gameplay. And of course those who do decide to spend the ludicrous price for the game as well as anyone who feeds the greed by buying the microtransactions now have to wait not knowing whether the game will be kept alive, or if S:E will pull the plug on the servers. If there was offline solo, then maybe there would still be some hope, but nope just like the downfall of outriders, this is yet another online only game even though it is most definitely not an MMO. All in all, this deserves the lowest of scores to send a message to the greedy likes of S:E and the new CEO of platinum games thinking live service is exactly what their target audience wanted. To think these two companies were the ones behind Nier Automata is surreal…… Expand

    I will start with the good things about this game, but there are some bads too, that keep it from being masterpiece.

    + The battle system is totally adictive. Perfectly crafted Platinium game. Different weapon setup totally change the playstyle. Even same weapon with different enchantments may change the day.     + The battle system is totally adictive. Perfectly crafted Platinium game. Different weapon setup totally change the playstyle. Even same weapon with different enchantments may change the day. The Attacks of all enemies are clean and visible. The bosses have great mechanics, on the level of MMO games. So 10 out of 10 on this part.

    + World is another thing that holds pretty well. There are some enviorment hazzards to keep it fresh, personal favorite was to fight sliding on ice. Pure 10 out of 10 here too.

    + Story itself is kind of mediocre, but game like this really don't need anything more. I just don't feel like this game needs to have anything complex in there, just something to keep the action going, and they deliver on it pretty fine.

    And here we go with the issues.
    - Presentation of microtansactions. First season pass is free for all, most games with this model are not giving it free, so I would call that plus, they promissed next season passes to be around 10$ and that sounds positive too (compared to the price of most saeson passes). But how badly this is presented to the player, full cinematic, dialog, every time when you log in pop up windows about it, it is just painful. There are NO GAMPLAY MICROTRANSACTIONS. But players feel like they are super important, from the tutorial they show you about the cosmetics you can buy with RMT, after that if you want to buy stuff with ingame currency, the show will open on RMT page first every time. It is just painfully annoying.
    - Visually the game is just bad, and no, if you turn off the painting effect it is not that bad. However during most of the cinematics and while you are in town, there is this painting effect that is just not crafted well enough and makes everything looks bad. Hairs are super outdated, can make even From Software proud of their work. But I would not call this total lost, because the game fly with no frame drops or any other performance issues, while you are beating the **** out of enemies, that is kind of important.

    - No scale depending on party members. The game is made to be multiplayer, I get it. And most of the missions I can fight solo if I can't find people, that is cool. Once you learn how to DPS properly, enemies die fast, so that is all fine. UNTIL BOSS, some of the bosses in this game just need a bit of punch in their HP bar if you play solo. It is just that Babylon is going out around so many great games, even square enix have great games this part of the year, it just can't hold too many players at launch, and leaving it in a state where it is expected from you to find party all the times is a bad choice.    … Expand

    -Графика времен PS3 и Xbox 360
    -Русского нет -Цена это конечно жесть, потеря 5к весьма ощутима -Батл пасс, заплатил 5к и считаешь что можно и еще занисти, и вообще микротранзакции, как же они достали -3 игровых класса, за 5к смех -Игра закрывается +-Какой никакой сюжет +Оптимизация +Можно играть в 4, хотя будем    Ужасно, Square Enix, просто упали в моих и наверно всех игроков:

    I dreaded having to review this as my goal to have reviews for platinum involved games i still kinda blame square for this but here goes. Babylon's Fail is more like Babylon's Fail, this game is flat out unfinished and bad. Its broken levels and bad graphic textures, the unfinished cutscenes and broken multiplayer. The flat out awful microtransaction on what should be a free to play game yet its $60 and its this awful. What happened initial trailers looked good but they dragged it into GAS heck with square and it seems like no one wanted to make it. The only salvage from this is some decent music and ideas for combat/ bosses probably some by platinum underneath. Looks way outdated, the rewards are horrid, awful low effort, just please leave this to die and move on your better than this.… Expand

    I can’t imagine why anyone would want to pay so much for such an awful experience. There’s a potentially enjoyable action game trapped inside Babylon’s Fall but it’s buried deep under layers of bugs, bad design, chaos and overall misery.

    BABYLON’S FALL has plenty of quality game design in it, with a good length main campaign and even side content on launch, with more already added, and even more coming for free. Whether the price is worth it is up to you; play the demo and decide for yourself.

    While Babylon's Fall had several good ideas and had a lot of potential, it shot itself in the foot with its intrusive live service model and its painfully obvious lack of polish, making it that much harder to recommend to anyone, especially at the ludicrous price of $60.
