With 15 year old graphics come display issues that prevent it from running properly on modern systems. Config file workarounds are available, but this is hardly ideal considering current game standards.

The puzzles are bland and uninspired. There is no immersion to speak of, and the puzzles are forced before you in a stack like paperwork. Typical examples are finding sets of items in a picture, playing a rendition of simon, or playing "match the butterflies." All this is set to a constantly running timer, which punishes you for making mistakes. I stopped playing long before the timer expired, to know what it does.

Overall, this may be an adequate distraction for children, but is a stretch to describe the game as anything better than a waste of $10. I make a point of supporting indie game studios, however will likely steer clear of big fish games in the future.

The graphics aren't amazing, but then, it's about 6 years old. The puzzles are very simple. Perhaps it's aimed at a younger audience. I enjoy puzzle games, but I like a challenge, not just a timer with punishment for misclicks. Full Review »
