    It's a fun and addictive MOBA Plataform. Now the game is free to play which made a lot of very experience players create new accounts so that they could rigged the leaderboards. Players currently are around 250, which sometimes takes about 3 to 7 minutes to find a match. It would be so good if Ronimo (Developers) would give more care to it as it does have a lot of potential.

    Awesomenauts is a 2D MOBA with eye candy graphics that resemble 80s cartoons. You choose one of the many heroes and try to destroy the enemy’s base with your other two teammates. You earn “solar” by killing enemies or damaging the enemy base, which you can spend on upgrading your hero. The heroes come with unique abilities and are enjoyable to play with. Moreover, the game has great graphical design and awesome voice acting. It is very hard not to be initially impressed by Awesomenauts.

    Unfortunately, though, despite being inherently a good game, it is hard to recommend it. The game is crippled by a terrible matchmaking system. It is quite common having to wait 5+ in the lobby to start a short game. From time to time, a player abandons right when the game is about to begin, therefore resetting the timer for the launch of the round. I also have the impression that the teams are random rather than skill based and if a team of experienced players faces a team of beginners, the game is simply not enjoyable. Another drawback is that the game menu is occupied by “follow us on youtube / twitter / facebook” banners, something I personally do not like to see when I launch a game.

    Multiplayer based games offer different experiences based on the time-period that they are played. Sometimes they evolve to become much better games than they initially were (Natural Selection 2), and sometimes the game destroys itself by changing its mechanics for the worse (Star Wars Galaxies, Everquest). Other times, the game loses its player base to the extent that it becomes not enjoyable, which seems to be the case for Awesomenauts. And neither making the game free to play nor the matchmaking system seems to have helped addressing this problem.    … Expand

    I have never played a more terrible game than Awesomenauts. The only game that I can compare it to on levels of **** is Sonic 2006 for the Xbox 360. It is fundamentally flawed in that all characters are complete ass. ESPECIALLY FROGGY G. Much like a piece of bread, it is rather plain and boring and becomes very stale quickly. I would honestly recommend playing a much better game like TeamI have never played a more terrible game than Awesomenauts.     A F2P-Moba style 2d game. Characters are cool and stylish, gameplay is original and fun. Music is also nice. Awesomenauts is awesome to play with friends! ^.^ Give it a try!

    Best 2D Moba game.Funny artwork great characters.And this gameplay...This is awesome!!Only problem is waiting times and update download size.This is too much for slow nets.And game's musics are so perfect too.Really.Musics are awesome.Buy this game.What are you waiting for?

    De todos los MOBAs que he probado, este ha sido el único que me ha enganchado y me ha permitido disfrutar de el como un enano. No se si sera su jugabilidad en 2D o el hecho de que sea más sencillo que quizá algo del estilo de Dota 2, pero sin duda es un juego del que, si dispones de dos amigos mas, vas a echarle muuuuuuchas horas. Totalmente recomendable, y a un precio muy asequible.

    Lousy match making that matches you with noobs all the time, which means that you will lose all the time. Not worth buying or playing as it is a serious waste of your time.

    Game will ban you without any notice whatsoever and ignore all your emails/pleas. You will waste your money as they will not refund you or reply your email promptly. Once you are banned, you can't play online.

    Fantastic and fun game to play, and with the awesome music and soundtrack that comes with the game, I would recommend you trying the demo, ALSO it's fun to play with your friends and expect to die allot on your first try. But the DLC in this game is awful. ONE DLC for an announcer!?! ONE WHOLE DLC for spectator mode and all the other features in Awesomenauts Starstorm DLC, it should haveFantastic and fun game to play, and with the awesome music and soundtrack that comes with the game, I would recommend you trying the demo, ALSO it's fun to play with your friends and expect to die allot on your first try.     All of the nauts are unique from eachother and they all standout on their own, plus if theres one you don't like, there will be another naut who you might enjoy! We got Leon who is an Assassin, Lonestar a Cowboy pusher, Scoop an Ice cream knight and much more!

    The game is a must have for platformer gamers and MOBA lovers, it's easily one of a kind and does it's job well, plus the kickass soundtrack helps this game A LOT!

    Only downside is the balance is a bit messy, however Ronimo (The devs) are fixing these as we speak! Every patch someone becomes balanced, Over or Underpowered and it's actually really funny.    … Expand

    The devs are moneyseekers, they want you to pay WAY too much money for stupid skins, which have a horrible design. Then there is the game itself, which is even more bad then their sales model. It's full of toxic players, they insult you every match. Ronimo only bans nice people and lets the ragers play. Also the starstorm dlc isn't even finished, and it features PAY2WIN characters with superpowers. They had A LOT of money through crowdfunding, because players wanted the devs to work on connections, instead they wasted the money and just kept making more dlc to steal even more money from players! The game is soooo broken, unplayable. the devs should be ashamed. Also, the forums are corrupted, because when you say 1 bad word about the game you get an IP-ban. This game needs to die.    … Expand

    Ignore everything the bad reviews say. They have no idea what they are talking about.

    The only issues with this game is slight inbalance and bad servers. There is no lag, bugs, exploits, pay to win characters. Especially not bugs, I have literally not seen a single bug in this game, unless you count the times I played around with mods.     And lag. There is no lag. I ran this game on my old **** laptop at 40 FPS and max graphics.

    With the "pay-to-win" thing. There is 4 DLC characters currently. 1 of them is considered the worst character in the game. Another requires you to be hellishly skilled to even use the slightest. Another LOOKS overpowered because he has the best skill in the game, but not many people realize how horrible the second skill is. And the final character is probably the most "balanced" character in the game. Can be considered slightly too powerful, but really all-in-all he is nothing big.

    Really the only problematic character in the game is this "Leon" guy, Ronimo doesn't know how to nerf him for some reason. Every time they plan to nerf him, they just cancel it.

    But really, though admittedly it isn't the GREATEST executed game of all time, it's still my second favourite game of all time (after terraria).

The game is run with P2P multiplayer, which means that occasionally there are lag issues, depending on the host of the game; however, if the lag issues are bad, the game often switches to a better host. While competitive, I still find it to be much more relaxed than other MOBAs like LoL or DOTA 2. There are many characters available and there'sAwesomenauts is a great 2D MOBA platformer. The game is run with P2P multiplayer, which means that occasionally there are lag issues, depending on the host of the game; however, if the lag issues are bad, the game often switches to a better host. While competitive, I still find it to be much more relaxed than other MOBAs like LoL or DOTA 2. There are many characters available and there's always a playstyle and character for everyone. The voice actors for the game are often popular Youtubers and the voices and dialogue make the game hilarious at times.

    Although you do have to unlock characters by playing games and leveling up, the starting characters provide valuable insight into how the rest of the characters work. Each character has a unique jump and movement speed and the first two characters allow new players to learn about how to use the different jumps and speeds they may encounter later.

    Many players complain about a few "overpowered" characters. The truth, in my opinion, is that every character is overpowered if used well, which results for an interesting balance in the game. However, Ronimo often updates and rebalances the characters as needed, and adds new characters every now and then.

    The community is usually quite pleasant with a few exceptions once in awhile; however, there is no voice chat (looking at the mute buttons that are now available on the scoreboard, that may be soon to come) and players rarely type in chat. Teamplay with friends is highly recommended, but not necessary. Personally, I am a solo queuer, meaning that I just join in to a game by myself, and it works out pretty well.

    Awesomenauts is an amazing and addictive game and I've been playing it every day since I bought it months ago. If you've never played a MOBA before, this is a great game to start with (I was an FPS gamer before this game). I highly recommend this game for anyone just looking to have fun, but there are competitive leagues if you're interested in that as well.    … Expand

    Once you get past the flaws, which every game has in one form or another, this is actually quite enjoyable. Granted it lacks the "flashy" aspects of other games, and it can take a while to get used to. But as you learn to understand the underlying mechanics it grows on you. Latency is an issue, but is getting better with time. Something different if you're tired of traditional games in this genre.

    This game is definitely worth the price. It's addicting, I have played it for days straight. It is a strategic 2D MOBA that will leave you staring at your computer for hours on end. While I do wish there were more characters, it is still very fun and worth looking into

    Moba + Platformer? Why not! Awesomenauts has an incredible unique touch that doesn't take itself seriously! With ridiculous characters and also the soundtrack, the game is quite charming! The community is different than most moba as there is less competition and more fun! Not expensive, easy to play and very enjoyable I recommend it for everyone!

Every awesomenaut is unique and there are no counter-picks, only better-made teams. However, there are a number of problems in the game considering the match makingAwesomenauts in not a bad game, not even a bad MOBA. In fact, it is actually pretty good at being both. The platforming and 2d style makes it a unique experience in the market, with very beautiful graphics and easy controls. Every awesomenaut is unique and there are no counter-picks, only better-made teams. However, there are a number of problems in the game considering the match making system and the leaderboards. Leaderboards are supposed to help by matching you with players of your skill, which is calculated from your percentage of wins(winning earns you points-losing decreases your points). The problem is that in many cases you will have feeders and/or leavers that leave fairly early once your opponents gain the lead to avoid losing points and are replaced by bots that are useless compared to real players, leading to frustration almost every time. And the worst of all is leavers are not punished as hard as the player who doesn't ragequit. In addition, the game often disconnects from the "host" something that counts as a loss to your personal score and is somewhat common. Also, the number of awesomenauts is not that big as the developer is currently busy with the starstorm DLC(which I really enjoy and recommend if you have 8 more euros to spend), which may make the game a bit dull after a while(not soon though). Reporting or honoring a player is absent in this MOBA and friending them is not made as simple as in other titles. I wouldn't recommend awesomenauts to people that care about rankings in MOBAS and are sensitive about that stuff, however if you want to play it for the lolz I definitely recommend to go for it and if you can find some friends to play together you are going to love it.… Expand

    This game is good,with the exception of OP characters(like Clunk) and a Player vs AI mode that is very easy,and you actually level up with it, it's a really good MOBA game,and the only one that i actually enjoy.As it is a platformer game too,this made me respect this game,combining 2 genres that have no connections at all.
    I recommend it for every type of player,Hardcore,Newbie etc. this    This game is good,with the exception of OP characters(like Clunk) and a Player vs AI mode that is very easy,and you actually level up with it, it's a really good MOBA game,and the only one that i actually enjoy.As it is a platformer game too,this made me respect this game,combining 2 genres that have no connections at all.

With new updates and a brand new DLC that is in early access the game has really changed to something you can play for hours on end. Many characters to choose from each with a different advantage and disadvantage keeps you from saying the common phrase "THAT **** IS OP". Limited settings are not bad because the game is simple and there is controller support and local play. These are 2 things i feel that should be implemented into more games. Each time you play a game it tends to go on anywhere from 20 to 40mins which is nice for those times you cant play a most likely 1 hour LoL or DoTA match. The only complaints i have is that when there is clearly a game where you are losing but is gonna go on for too long you can't surrender. The last and possibly best part of the game is how although the game looks simple and easy it is difficult enough that you have to learn things about the game that takes some time to get used to. Maps can be memorized and there is even a level up and prestige system in the game to keep making you want to comeback for more. I have played 200hours of this game and have over 30 other video games. I can personally tell you that this game is well worth the money you pay for it.… Expand

    This take on a side scrolling moba is fun to play as long as you have friends. The characters you play have their unique theme music and they are all equally unique. However where the game falls of is that unfortunately the game community is small and this is where playing Dota or League becomes an easier game to play.

    Simple, fast and incredibly fun. Each character has its own particular and way to play,and the soundtrack is still in my head.

    Decent game with terrible matchmaking, terrible randomness, and not much else. It's worth a couple bucks, but that's about it. It's like DOTA or smash bros for complete idiots.

    Picked up this game from a Humble Bundle. It is a polished game I must say. The only thing I'd wish is to add more players in game because 3v3 seems pretty small.

    This game really makes fun. I've played the Multiplayer and i'm not really a fan of MOBA Games,but this is great!
    Good Things:
    Balancing Stone,Scissor,Paper principle (I'm german,so sorry when i make mistakes in grammar.) Latency When the Latency is too bad,the Host will change to the best I-Net Player so everyone has a good Latency. - Graphics For a MOBA Indie Game,the Publishers    This game really makes fun. I've played the Multiplayer and i'm not really a fan of MOBA Games,but this is great!

    Skinning System You have to pay for the most Skins, 2,50€ in Germany.
