I wouldn't really call myself an old school gamer even though I play lots of old Nintendo games. What Atari did well was allowing to use of an external controller or keyboard support. At first, the collection of games is a little overwhelming especially the way they organized it. After a while, you see reason to why they organized it the way they did especially when they tried to support multiple arcade consoles with their own games. For anyone looking to relive and admire gaming roots and then some, this would be perfect for you. Good Luck Reminiscing!!!! Expand

meh. Maybe it will be nostalgic for someone who played these games back in 1980's but now those games are absolutely unplayable. Boring and repetative gameplay interesting only for 5 minutes you have to read the manual to understand the plot. after you play every game you'll never play this game again. i don't recommend it at all

Atari Vault is definitely a good investment that I'm sure will please many including older gamers that want to feel the nostalgia of playing some of these classic games that defined a generation back in the day.

As glitchy as the main menu is, Atari Vault is a must buy for any and all people with an interest in playing arcade era games. There’s literally no reason to buy it if you want something modern, but if you ever want a hit of the old school this is the only way to go. Now excuse me while I go try to beat my high score on Crystal Castles.
