    I’m a fan of Assassins Creed games and possibly one of the few that like the bigger, open world stage. I take my time, I make myself a mug of tea, I pause for thought and enjoy the digital created world. This is a good game with so much to do. I’m not a fan of the combat system and preferred Odyssey’s approach, but overall this is an excellent addition to the franchise.     Major improvement from Odyssey. While combat is only slightly improved, the questing & gear progression feel more satisfying now.

    I really struggled with the first day of play, coming from a playthrough of AC:Black Flag. The differences in control scheme and the way the world works (parkour, exploration and combat) made me initially wary.

    Since then, I've adjusted, and, well, the fact that I put about a week more into the game since should tell you how much I am enjoying the experience.     The graphics are of course phenomenal and never-before seen, but what really stands out after spending some time going back and forth between Valhalla and older games is that the integration of storylines works much better than for instance in Odyssey or Black Flag - it feels a lot less as if I am checking off boxes or following the same set of random quests, and much more like a natural extension of exploring a gigantic world.    … Expand

    Valhalla took both concepts of the early AC games and the direction of Origins/Odyssey. The rpg elements in Origins/Odyssey were fresh bad badly executed. The loot felt never rewarding, the auto scaling enemys made it even worse. I missed the "Zelda" like feeling of unique, handplaces items in the world.

    There are a LOT of weapons scattered around the world map. But all handplaced. Its    Valhalla took both concepts of the early AC games and the direction of Origins/Odyssey. The rpg elements in Origins/Odyssey were fresh bad badly executed. The loot felt never rewarding, the auto scaling enemys made it even worse. I missed the "Zelda" like feeling of unique, handplaces items in the world.

    There are a LOT of weapons scattered around the world map. But all handplaced. Its really motivating to explore the world, raid monastery's to upgrade your village or do the world events for xp.

    The story was outstanding for todays standards in my opinion. And if you are in viking mythology you will really have a good time.

    The 9th century dark ages England settings is just great, supported by a well done graphics and audio. The ambience is incredibly immersive.
    As for the gameplay it's an AC formula overall. A huge skill tree and many different abilities make it really fun to play and allow different builds.     One of the best Assassin's Creeds. Great job Ubisoft! And way better optimized than Watch Dogs Legion. With gorgeous presentation! Love it!

    Best AC yet, insanely good graphics, they have fixed combat now, exploring is such a treat, and they REALLY nailed being a viking (raiding, building your clan) This game is just perfect.

Внятные диалоги, в Одиси их просто невозможно слушать, будто кто озвучивал и не видел, что он озвучивал. Механика боя напоминает казуальный Sekiro с появлением в игре парирования. Заимствование расследований по типу Ведьмака тоже пошло игре на пользу. Также очень приятно выглядит цвет игры, онИгра достойная. Чувствуется работа над ошибками. По мне это лучший ассасин за долгое время. Внятные диалоги, в Одиси их просто невозможно слушать, будто кто озвучивал и не видел, что он озвучивал.     Из минусов можно отметить сюжет, ну не держит он в тонусе, хотя кто играет в ассасин ради сюжета? Тем не менее мне куда интереснее строить свой город, чем искать свою мать/отца.
    Также не очень проработан интеллект защитников при набегах, иногда они просто стоят, а ты их рубишь.
    Мелочи что понравились:
    -Нужно поесть чтоб подлечиться
    -Твой персонаж устает в бою
    - В холодной воде ты мерзнешь
    -Чувствуется что твой персонаж тяжелый (при спрыгивании)    … Expand

    The Story is more relevant as in previous Games, the world looks great, the charakter is very nice. Only complaint: hdr is quite broken (at least for PC).

    I've played all games in the series, the story is very enjoyable and the world damn... Gorgeous also love everything I can do in the game! definitely a better step in the series after odyssey.

    Origins and Odyssey were good games no question, but it was not Assassin's Creed. For me it was much too casual. The loot, the strong focus on role-playing elements and the mass of activities did not give me the feeling of an Assassin's Creed.     With new designed open world , thre isnt side quests , actually there is but not like the old ones. They are like small world events and they make you feel like the world is living and its great. The best AC I ever played.

    1: combat is great, takes the good things of AC odyssey and AC origins and expended on that

    Качественная работа над ошибками, в неё действительно интересно играть. Но я всё же надеюсь что это последняя часть на данном движке, и после неё будет настоящий некст-ген как в своё время было с Unity.

    such an assessment. So much rubbish was removed from the game, for which they were harshly criticized ... people got stuck ... I remember the game turned out to be quite adequate and there is something to see, I put 10 to support from inadequate with zeros

    Having soooooo much fun with this game! Keeps getting better and better the further you get into it too. Little buggy here and there, but nothing game breaking that I've encountered, besides some crashing. The HDR was also really difficulty to get looking right, but when it is set right it looks really amazing.

    Overall great game, big improvement on odyssey. New world is great and detailed and new story is incredible. Also settlement mechanic works very well.

Overall Valhalla is a better game although I miss Kassandra (nice to have her visiting in the crossover story), mount combat, the ship, and the clear gear perks. It sounds like a lot but there is so much else to enjoy in Valhalla and I hope that the negative reviews are not stopping people to try it since it is so cheap toBefore this game, AC Odyssey was my favourite open world adventure.     Один из лучших ассасинов,юбисофт исправили свои ошибки,добавили кучу побочных квестов,активностей,почти полностью отказались от РПГ системы. Советую всем купить.

    If you liked the open world of The Witcher, and the combat system of Odyssey (though in Valhalla the combat feels better and more fluid), then you will love this game as long as you can overlook the painstakingly mediocre Assassin story (although the "Viking" part of the story is very well made).    … Expand

    I loved origins but odyssey needed more depth in story. Valhalla is a perfect game in every aspect minus some bugs that can be fixed with some patches.

    This is an amzing game, there are a lot of bugs but the story; gameplay and grafics are amazing and that is all that counts, there is so much to do in this game with great combat, viking lore and music.

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is one of the best games I have ever played. Despite all the tiny bugs and terrible lip sync, it has perfected the Open World Formula and created what I believe is The Best Open World Game.

    Every single Feature feels incredible and sailing around with your Longship to Raid monasteries to get resources so you can build and upgrade your settlement is such a great    Assassins Creed Valhalla is one of the best games I have ever played. Despite all the tiny bugs and terrible lip sync, it has perfected the Open World Formula and created what I believe is The Best Open World Game.

    Every single Feature feels incredible and sailing around with your Longship to Raid monasteries to get resources so you can build and upgrade your settlement is such a great grinding system. There is not 1 boring thing in this game. My absolute favorite thing is to upgrade my Gear and Weapons because not only is it super hard to find the rare Ingots, but each time you upgrade they get an improved look and you never really know what to expect so its kinda like opening a Christmas Present. And speaking of gear and weapons, this game has some of the best looking outfits and weapons I have ever seen in any games.

    As a Norwegian I have been dreaming of a Viking Game my entire life and somehow Ubisoft manages to nail nearly every single wish i had for the Game. This is The First Open World AAA Viking Game ever created and I am honestly really happy that Assassin's Creed is the one.

    This Game gives me the same feeling that Skyrim gave me when it first came out, a feeling that I never thought I would feel again. You can go to do a specific thing and then all of the sudden 5 hours have passed and you are at the other side of the map without even touching a single Main Quest.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla will always have a special place in my heart and as much as I would love for them to make a Sequel I know that will not happen so I would very much like to see a Year 2 Pass or even better, a spin-off game with Online.    … Expand

    It is an amazing game. As every other assassins Creed game it is well written and very very beautiful. The only critcism that comes for this or for every assassins creed game are from people that does'nt like to play, want it to end fast and does'nt really has the calm and the mindset to enjoy the huge world exploration.

    I've been having a lot of fun with this game, about 10 hours in so far and it's been a good story and the exploration is great how they encourage and reward it. The combat could have used a bit more time developing to give it more weight but still pretty fun. Playing on an RTX 3080 and 10900k on 1440p with about 80 fps+ maxed out the game looks AMAZING! really made a beautiful world toI've been having a lot of fun with this game, about 10 hours in so far and it's been a good story and the exploration is great how they encourage and reward it.     Не нравится в первую очередь это тупость ИИ, противники и союзники очень тупые, действуют не так слажено и не так как должны в реальности, это основное что не нравится. Ну и конечно баги.     I had a faith in new AC:Valhalla and I wasn't badly suprised. That game is awesome. Yeah sure, some bugs are still there but nothing that patch will not fix. Much better than Odyssey, England and Norway are surprisingly beautiful and detailed. Eivor have a good voice, I like more men voice, but women voice acting are good as well. We'll see about Cyberpunk but for now this is MY GOTY!

    Absolutely amazing, the atmosphere, the open world, the mysteries, the landscapes, the story, the characters... So far 12 hours played and many more will come.

    Huge missions and a different approach to each make the game exciting for many days and months)

No one who played this game for more than 2 hours can give this game lesser score than 8. I played for nearly 40 hours and enjoyed every minute of it.     AC Valhalla is amazing! It has all the best from Odyssey and Origins + its own cool mechanics. If you're fan of "Vikings" you must love it!

    Visually stunning huge game world, that has very enjoyable story, interesting characters and tons of mysteries and secrets to discover. I will keep playing this game for years to come, that's for sure. Last game that truly made me feel this way was Red Dead Redemption 2.
    Side note: It has better voice acting than previous two games, just something to point out.

    If there was one game from January 2020 to November 2020 period i could play, i would easily choose this one. It's just amazing. It has some bugs here and there, but that's expected from large open world games. Cyberpunk 2077 will have them as well, no matter how much they polish it. Top 5 game from 2020 without any question. Highly recommended.

    I would recommend Youtube channel "Downward Thrust" review of this game. He is one these people who actually understand this game, not one of these "it's so boring, blah blah blah". I'm personally not going to write long review, because there's so many people out there who know how to say things better, so i will make it short. This game is absolutely amazing.

    2020 has been pretty awful, let's be honest. This game literally brought joy back into my life, not even kidding. I have played it at least 15 hours, it's just so good. I can get lost into this magical world and just forget this awful reality that 2020 has been. I'm honestly so happy that this game turned out be as amazing as it is.     There's very clearly war between real Assassin's Creed fans and people who only liked first 2 games and think that now they can dictate what or how this series needs to be. Actual Assassin's Creed fans need to fight back now more than ever. Because this game truly deserves it and needs all the support possible.

I will give 10 just for that, but i would give 10 no matter what to be honest. This game is truly amazing. I actually can't believe Ubisoft delivered that well this time. I was hoping it will be good, but wow.

    Absolutely amazing game that has huge interesting open world, tons of secrets / locations to discover, epic story, good combat, interesting characters. One of the best of 2020. I just love to get lost in that game world, explore not only England, but also Norway. Soundtrack/ambient music in this game one of the most relaxing stuff i have heard in a while.

    Haven't personally had any fps problems, but i play 1080p, so yea. I personally never cared about 4K or whatever. I tried to keep my expectations checked, but not only it delivered, it's more than what i could have even wanted from Assassin's Creed game. Without a question better than Origins and Odyssey. It's way more serious, darker and i love it.

    Absolutely masterful comeback from Ubisoft. It's kinda hard to believe it's the same company that made Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Watch Dogs legion was fine, but AC Valhalla is just something else. Depth of this game blows me away. At least now i have something to do until Cyberpunk 2077 (hopefully) comes out.

    If you think it's boring, well too bad. Not every game needs to be Devil May Cry and i'm saying that as hardcore DMC fan.

    A pleasant surprise. I quickly got bored of odyssey but this is another level. The best parts is its setting, story and removal of side quests and the opting for world events which are great little additions. I hope this is going to be the new mainstream going forward.

    I'm almost shocked how well Ubisoft delivered with this one. 2019 was awful for them, so i wasn't expecting much, but Valhalla so good. There's so much to do, voice acting is great, story is great, graphics are amazing. It's going to be something i'm gonna play until cyberpunk comes out. There's not much else anyway. Not interested at all in spiderman dlc.

    It's funny to see all these zeros from these fake accounts who don't even own the game. I'm sure real Assassin's Creed fans will come out of shadows to support this one, because it truly deserves it. It's one of the best in the whole series.

    From November lineup this is very clear winner. Miles Morales is fine second place, but it's just too basic for my taste. I need something deeper and AC Valhalla is exactly that.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a great-looking open-world game with impressive landscapes and cinematography. However, the checklist collectible open-world still needs some work to feel truly engaging, and combat is too tedious and too frequent to be compelling. As a lapsed fan of Assassin's Creed trying to see if I can click with the series once again, Valhalla didn't quite hook me as I was hoping it would.

    Assassins Creed Valhalla is a lot of fun and easy to sink dozens of hours into. It is the best entry in the more recent trilogy and genuinely elevates the gameplay mechanics. Content could be considered somewhat bloated still, but it is diverse enough and the setting and story is solid most of the way through.

    Sneaking is fun, fighting is fun, walking through the great outdoors is so much fun. Sightseeing too! Valhalla is free minded and could be innovative, but lacks skills to persuade its players about that. [Issue#308]
