Fields of Elysium takes Alexios or Kassandra on a journey into the Greek afterlife, where they'll battle the forces of the Isu amid the otherworldly beauty of the titular paradise.

As they confront Greek gods and mythical creatures, players will find new Legendary items to give them an edge on the battlefield. They'll also unlock enhanced versions of existing abilities, giving them new ways to deal with foes; in Fields of Elysium, these include Ares Bull Charge, Ares Madness, Kronos Time Warp, and Might of Artemis, with more to be added in later episodes.

The Fate of Atlantis continues with two more episodes, Torment of Hades and Judgment of Atlantis, and will conclude in mid-2019.

With an epic roster of new enemies and a beautiful zone (the Elyseum in the first entry of this story arc), Fate of Atlantis offers a really good experience, well integrated into the present-days side-story with Layla.

A beautiful crafted world that is a joy to look at but feels empty here and there.

    pro:

-finally a new adventure for Kasslexios in a new setting and not some bloodline-forced-romance-cult 2.0

-a stunning view, it truly feels like paradise

    -ISU armors and weapons

    -the Kolossi

-the enemies skill to freeze/steal your adrenaline

    -liberate ISU-controlled humans

-Hermes, despite not ever being sure if I could trust him because you really shouldn't ever trust an ISU.

    -meeting Leonidas

    cons:

-clearing the map before finishing some quests can lead to some rather unfortunate bad outcome if you want to have the good ending

-Almost nonexistent wildlife except the same beautiful looking deers & No people or guards walking around the landscape, they are all in forts or cities which makes this beautiful world feel somewhat empty

-The Keepers insights should had been protected by some mystical creatures instead of getting easy acess to them

-The boring slide puzzles (the origins star puzzles where more fun)

-You can't steal in Paradise, there's so much drachmae to collect and I really missed getting hunted by a bigger and more dangerous Kolossi-mercenary

-the same repetitive clear forts and kill their leaders stuff

-knowing that this is just a simulation takes away some of the awesomeness which leads to another problem that Ubi needs to fix.

    namely

    The modern day dilemma

seriously, Ubi? I couldn't care less about Layla's story and even more so her colleagues which I only remember Victoria by her name. Giving me most of the background info through some files to read (the audio files are broken btw) and some short cutscenes and gameplay parts is not enough to make Layla and Co likeable and have me care.

-Whenever I had been forced back into modern day I wished I could just skip it. Either modern day needs to go or make it interesting again. Which you really could have done with Kasslexios.

-Layla having a hard time resisting the ISU corruption is just meh executed. Also those Abstergo baddies in their super modern combat uniforms charging at me with swords?! LMAO.

-Why not have Layla do some awesome magical combat with the staff? Or right she doesn't know how yet whereas Kasslexios had 2400 years to learn and master it.

-You know the more I think about this I wished they had Layla just search for Kasslexios or the Spear and have Kasslexios be the modern day hero aswell.

-Kasslexios death was so anticlimactic (you can't kill off the main character just like that), instead of handing the staff over to Layla they should have helped the assassins to get balance back between chaos and order. -Just imagine Kasslexios in modern day kicking *** with the staff that let's you choose between 4 main skills in combat that you can acess as fast as the usual skills; an armor (to avoid special attacks), the staff as a long ranged slower weapon, time and space control (short warp jumps and slowing down time to spot weak spots of enemies), a sword or dagger as a fast weapon. I really love Odyssey, it's my fav of the franchise but every so often it happens that some parts feel rushed and half hearted executed. I know I have gone off topic a bit regarding the Atlantis DLC but I needed to adress this. The Atlantis episode 1 main story left me somewhat unsatisfied even tho I got the good ending.
