    the best one in the whole three DLCs they finally managed to make interesting and enjoyable missions in this one and you get to play some naval battles which are great but being that short takes all the fun away

    The game contains 3 episodes each running from 2 to 4 hours long with side missions for those wanting 100% The story is a lot of fun and it wraps up showing you why George has gone mad! It's definitely worth the price, and I'd even go ahead to say that it's better than the main campaign. You're given 3 animal powers total, 1 each episode, and it blends in really well with the gameplay,The game contains 3 episodes each running from 2 to 4 hours long with side missions for those wanting 100% The story is a lot of fun and it wraps up showing you why George has gone mad! It's definitely worth the price, and I'd even go ahead to say that it's better than the main campaign.     Much better than the main game itself, being short is not a problem, problem is that theres little gameplay and its mostly cutscenes but still the story is better here and the new powers are amazing they should have been in the main game as well. Definitely worth playing if you played AC III.

    The "Tyranny of King Washington: The Redemption" DLC for Assassin's Creed III, like the other DLCs and multiplayer, is no longer playable, which is an unfortunate decision by Ubisoft that has left players unable to access content they have already purchased. This move is disappointing and has made me obviously no longer recommend buying the DLC.     The content of "The Redemption" makes me wonder what it could have been if it were somehow tied to the main storyline, perhaps serving as an epilogue to Connor's journey or providing a different perspective akin to what was offered in Revelations. Any meaningful expansion of the main narrative would have been welcome. However, instead of that, the DLC offered only brief glimpses of the real story through unengaging segments set in an uninspiring isekai-like world, coupled with enjoyable superpower-driven gameplay.

    As a result, my overall experience with "The Redemption" was mixed. The gameplay itself was entertaining, thanks to the exciting superpowers, but the lack of a compelling story that connected to the main narrative left me feeling detached and uninvested. It ultimately felt like a missed opportunity to further expand and enrich the Assassin's Creed III storyline.

    In conclusion, while "Tyranny of King Washington: The Redemption" initially showed promise with its intriguing premise and enjoyable gameplay, the absence of meaningful ties to the main story significantly impacted my appreciation of the DLC. Considering that Ubisoft has restricted access to the DLC, I regretfully cannot recommend it. The inability to play content that I have already paid for only adds to the disappointment surrounding this DLC.    … Expand

    It’s also impossible to overlook that not every hour of this short series is enjoyable. Episode 2 sometimes feels like AC3 at its worst: walking between cutscenes and completing tasks in which you have no real investment.
