    This is not a great driving simulator, but it IS a good arcade racer, and with very nice graphics.
    The dramatic crashes and graphics remind me of Burnout, but the car control, drifting style and in-game music lends itself a lot more to Ridge Racer.
    It runs very well on a modern budget laptop even with integrated graphics, there are no major frame rate drops, and it isn't too glitchy    This is not a great driving simulator, but it IS a good arcade racer, and with very nice graphics.

    It runs very well on a modern budget laptop even with integrated graphics, there are no major frame rate drops, and it isn't too glitchy either (some people may experience headlight flicker of other cars, or the in-game menu might not display everything on a small screen, but it is nothing major). It is labelled as a free game to install and play, and to an extent this is true, as you do not need to purchase any in-game 'upgrade' packs (which cost real money) to get a great deal of gameplay out of this. You need to receive a set amount of stars to continue on to new tracks, so a lot of re-playing may be necessary if you want it to remain 'free'.

    The major downfall is that Gameloft knows all too well that this is one of the best racers for the windows app store due to the current limited 3d racer selection, so the premium game update pack that's available for purchase within the game, currently costs.... a ridiculous £79.99.
    That's $125 US dollars at the current exchange rate for a mere digital update with extra cars. I almost laughed when I saw this, and had to double check that I had not downloaded this game from EA or was looking at the Apple store.

    Considering I have already downloaded the full game, for me any update pack for purchase coming close to the price of even one retail disc ruins Gameloft as a reputable trustworthy company, and just smacks of nothing but greed. For the price of the premium pack, I could buy not one, but TWO brand new modern games from the high street instead, with packaging and a 'backup' to boot (ie the game dvd or blu-ray).

    By all means download and play, but do not fall for those premium update packs offered in-game which are a complete con.    … Expand

    It is almost the exact same thing as the ios and Android platform, except that the updates almost install themselves when you don't know, so one day you open the game and BAM there is a new car or something.     This game is a very good game in relation to graphics, music, controls, and single-player, but there are very big things that I want changed now because I just lost 500,000 credits worth of cars and upgrades, 100 tokens, 4 cars with some upgrades, and traces from where I left off before double credits. The knockdowns aren't even sensible, you wreck very easily for no reason at all at the start of the race, and the lag is horrible! Also credits are soooo hard to earn unless you have double credits. Also a Koenigsegg for 3,000,000 credits? These cars and decals are sooo overpriced. The car collection rewards suck and you don't normally earn enough credits to even complete each season one-by-one in order (I just finished season one like 2 weeks ago when I had just unlocked season nine). These flaws completely ruin the game for me, so please change every thing relating to those flaws, and maybe this game won't suck as much.… Expand

    Vaya que jueguito se puede conseguir de forma free to play, es un completísimo juego arcade con licencias reales de marcas muy reconocidas y de una empresa excelente en el desarrollo de videojuegos para celulares, muy completo tanto online como offline, recomendado
