Imo one of the best warrior games, good story, good music 60 fps and better looking than the ps4 version(at last a good port) new mechanics in the gameplay making it feel more like a big battle, and what I like even more is how the battles seem bigger with so many enemies on screen not 300 like the other warrior games but like 1000 it makes it feel so much more as a battle than everImo one of the best warrior games, good story, good music 60 fps and better looking than the ps4 version(at last a good port) new mechanics in the gameplay making it feel more like a big battle, and what I like even more is how the battles seem bigger with so many enemies on screen not 300 like the other warrior games but like 1000 it makes it feel so much more as a battle than ever before, plus I like the small details in the gameplay like how the warrior is really good at combat while the strategist is bad at combat yet comes up with what to do during the battle, it's not like in for example dynasty warriors were Sun Shangxiang was as good in battle as zhao yun, one is a warrior the other is a noble lady, so in that way it feels like everyone has his own abilities and talents, it feels more like a team were one completes the others flaws and the opposite, also online is cool, and I found zero bugs, and most of all, dat intro is so amazing, gives me the heebie jeebies Expand

I f you like mousou games you are in for a treat.
    Pros
-The combat mechanism is very good and responsive. The blocking and dodging system is awesome. -The combat system while riding a horse is simply brilliant. -In game mechanisms such as cavalry chain attacks are a brilliant feature which should be incorporated in future mousou games. -The graphics are very good. - First Mousou

    -The graphics are very good.
    - First Mousou game ive played the has given me a sense of an epic front line.
-Decent story behind it and you dont need to see the series to follow it.
    -Alot of content.
-Nice and simple card upgrading system.

    Cons
-As with most mousou games it must be used with acontroller which infuriates a certain proportion fo the pc gaming community that cant give up there keybourd and mouse.
-Mostly Americans I have noticed complaining about the lack of dubbing, In all honesty i prefer Original speech with subtitles give me a sense of pure hapanese character.

I am giving it a ten because few games have put such a big smile on my face.
This game is a master peace and one taht runs on PC :)

Roster of really colorful characters speaks in game’s favor: besides usual warriors and bowmen you can play as a bard or even an artist that brings paintbrush to a swordfight. But what’s the point, when the main mechanic has aged poorly and Koei Tecmo doesn’t even try to modernize it? [Issue#207, p.69]

Ultimately, Arslan: The Warriors of Legend is a game that - as far as gameplay is concerned - seems to accept what it is and just do it well. Combat is fluid and well animated if just as repetitive as we've come to expect from Koei Tecmo.

Arslan aims to pepper a re-telling of its anime source material with familiar Warriors-style battles, and that, for better or worse, is what it does. But this release lacks some of the absurd character flair, goofy thrash-rock soundtrack, and (dare I say) depth of the mainstream series.
