There are a fairly large array of game options available, ranging from numerous tutorials, campaigns, leveling up pieces games, and hot seat games where you can play with a friend. The graphics engine is also quite nice plus you have the option of showing the retro graphics if you prefer the old look.     I played the original as a kid and easily made the chess team in high school. Decent game.
