    I have to say that I like the premise of the game, but the execution is rather disappointing. Aragami 2 is a stealth game with some platforming and RPG elements. Unfortunately, the core gameplay, while fun – the stages are fairly well designed and interesting pieces of puzzle to solve, though not too challenging aside from a few very specific small parts of some stages – is marred byI have to say that I like the premise of the game, but the execution is rather disappointing. Aragami 2 is a stealth game with some platforming and RPG elements. Unfortunately, the core gameplay, while fun – the stages are fairly well designed and interesting pieces of puzzle to solve, though not too challenging aside from a few very specific small parts of some stages – is marred by inconsistent spotting / stealth mechanics and clunky movement, which make the game frustrating to play.

    The story is – well, there is a story. I don’t understand most of it. What I understand of it is not exactly deep. The presentation is not helped by the weird choice to have the voiceover be this stunted mix of japanese, english, gibberish, sims language, and orcish, that’s honestly distracting, because some of it is understandable, and some of it is plain bullcrap. The story is mostly presented via too long cutscenes with little substance, and some dialogue with “quirky” NPCs – basically a very bad anime.

    The graphics are very stylized, but also very clear, and interactive elements, etc. are very distinct and it’s very intuitive. and perhaps the only thing I really liked about this game. The only downside is that, beyond the playable area, basically the back-drop, the skyboxes, etc. are fairly low quality, which is a shame, but I guess sacrifices had to be made somewhere.

    Sound is, well – the sound feedback is pretty good, although it makes you feel as if the enemies are deaf, but I guess for gameplay purposes, it is okay. Music though, is not very good. It’s a couple very short, generic samples, playing on a loop. Also, during cutscenes and dialogue, the sound has this weird glitch where every couple seconds it cuts out for a moment.

    Finally, I encountered a lot of issues with crashing, in and outside of missions, which have often cost me 20-30 minutes of progress. Since there are no checkpoints or a way to save in-mission, it means replaying some pretty long stages over and over, and f. that.

    Also, even without the technical issues which coupled with the choice to have no chekpoints/saving in missions, which are my main gripe in this game, the game is at best 6-7/10, it lacks enemy variety, weapon variety, and more complex stealth and combat mechanics. And it is most definitely not worth the price they are asking for it (40 EUR over here) - not even close.    … Expand

    A technical mess with constant game breaking bugs. They couldn't even be bothered to have a complete setup menu to customize the gameplay. This game is so different from the original Aragami that I have to wonder if it was created by an entirely separate team of developers.

    El juego está muy bien, en comparación con el primero de la saga es un cambio increíble. Le daría un 8 si los controles no fuesen del 2008, o al menos que se pudieran configurar al gusto propio. Pero no existe esa opción, así que le doy un 3.

    Bigger but not better
    I would see it qualitatively rather worse. The graphics look like XBox One and not Series S / X.
    In addition, some bugs and other technical problems add to a boring game.

    das spiel ist ein bug fest. offt will man nen silent kill machen aber er schlägt einfach in eine andere richtung du wirst endeckt. die steahl Mechanic in dem game ist einfach schlecht

    Хуже первой части. Сразу видно что это инди. Лучше тот же Styx пройти еще раз.

    Entretenido. El movimiento se siente bien y los poderes son muy diversos, pero se hace muy repetitivo. Se disfruta más en cooperativo

    Nice game for couple evenings in co-op with a friend. Nothing more really. +1 only for co-op stealth, which is a rare thing. Not recommended for single play.

    Meh story, weak animations, it's just whatever. Wouldn't recommend in all honesty. But that's just me and i like quality.

    There are a lot of bugs, but I have come across a bug that is bad enough to affect the gameplay max once. The missions are pretty much repetitive. The regions where the missions are located are the same places. So you always play in the same places. NPC variety is poor. They tried to diversify as the game progressed but they painted the same NPC red, yellow or green. The story is not deep enough. A story like the classic average anime story. It has a story that is barely enough to keep you in the game. The interesting part is that I really liked the gameplay mechanics. That was the main factor that kept me in the game. The skill tree is good enough for the game. It's fun to use abilities. I recommend doing a full stealth build. I don't regret playing this game    … Expand

    Aragami 2 has its good moments, its old-fashioned take on stealth games occasionally is fun, but ultimately, the taste it leaves is that it's a mediocre game. To its credit, Lince Works decided not to take the easy route of simply improving on cons of the first Aragami and promote it as a sequel, but the result doesn't fully justify that decision.

    Aragami 2 is a huge departure from the original game. In exchanging the linear narrative-driven stealth experience for an open-ended co-op mission adventure, Lince Works has created a game that feels just as flawed as the original, but has a lot more charm in it's small moments and simplicity. Repetitive missions and enemies make it hard to get engrossed with the game for long periods of time, but as a stealth action game to hop into for quick little bursts, Aragami 2 can be pretty fun.
