    feel like a nice fresh perspective of the original mechanics. I love watching the green appear as the water courses down the canals, its clear the developer team put a bunch of love into this DLC. Not to mention its definitely got some meat in terms of quests, with even the normal farmer quests usually having a different inflection than you would normally expect.

    While i hope there is more dlc in the future for this game if this is the last one its definitely going out on a strong note.

    I love all the new unique item manufacturing trees, it really makes Enbesa feel like its own unique nation. They dont even share lumber, as they use their own form. Although wood is used to make paper for some of their later tier items. Water is the lifeblood for any of your islands though so you must mete out your water spots with care.

    My one complaint is the new islands don't seem to be very profitable, i cant seem to break even despite having most of my citizens lower desires satisfied. That being said its such a fun departure from the norm that I don't mind making less just to play in the African wonderland and watch my desiccated wasteland turn into a bountiful garden.    … Expand

    Land of Lions is a great expansion and the best additional content for Anno 1800 to date.
