    I only played the german version of this game, which is the original, so I can't say anything about the quality of the translations or speakers.
    But what I can say is that the german version is a very very good game! The only reason why I don't give it a 10 is because it is a little too easy for an adventure-verteran like me. But that is probably just me and it still is a great game that I will definitely play again in a little while.    … Expand

    i searched for a digital copy from this game, for weeks. then i finally found it on gamefly. after that, my Ankh trilogy was complete and i started to play it.
    now i can say that this searching for the first Ankh game was no waste of time or money!
    Yes, graphics are may be not very smooth...but i like that old skool look. dialogue and characters are funny. voice acting is good in    i searched for a digital copy from this game, for weeks. then i finally found it on gamefly. after that, my Ankh trilogy was complete and i started to play it.
    now i can say that this searching for the first Ankh game was no waste of time or money!

    Je voulais commencer le test de l’étron avec un jeu de mots ou plutôt un exercice de conjugaison avec Ankh : je t’Ankh, tu m’Ankh, il t’Ankh, vous Ankhulez, ils s’Ankhulent, nous t’Ankhulons (à rekhulons) ils voulaient t’Ankhuler et ainsi de suite mais attention, car t’Ankh va à l’eau que la Khruche s’Ankhcrasse !

    Et t’Ankh qu’ils y aura des hommes et des des sales jeux de merde dans ce sous-genre qu’on appelle « jeux d’aventure », alors on n’est pas sorti de l’auberge ! Comme d’habitude, de toute façon, il ne peut rien faire cet Ankhulé ! je ne peux pas aller par là, je ne peux pas ouvrir ça maintenant, je ne peux pas utiliser ça parce que t’as pas cliqué au bon endroit et patati et patata…

    Le jeu d’aventure de merde quoi ! (pléonasme bien entendu) dans toute son horreur avec comme de coutume (aussi) l’humour (?!) loufoque à nette tendance mongolienne mongoloïde d’attardé golio et bien évidemment les graphismes très simplets et niais en 256 couleurs… mais en 3 dimensions quand même, contrairement à la 2D très habituelle du sous-genre.

    Enfin, bref donc, on s’en bat les couilles de cette merdasse d’imbéciles et je dirais même plus que ça : on s’en rebat les couilles de cette merdasse de jeu à la mords-moi-le-noeud de mes deux !!    … Expand

    In Ankh’s case, the gameplay’s spot on, the story is funny, and it looks and sounds great. It’s nothing new or special, but what it does, it does very well.
