Feb 18, 2017Very short (2-3 hours), introduces supernatural elements out of nowhere with no explanation, puzzles are more obtrusive than clever, many spelling mistakes. I wouldn't even play this as a baby's-first-point-and-click-exploration-puzzle game.

Apr 21, 2017While Among the Innocent has a solid foundation for a tense psychological thriller, this exceptionally short game as a whole never really comes together and is neither intriguing or scary.

Mar 4, 2017A beautiful, mysterious adventure and an artistic take on the rural scenery of South Africa, Among the Innocent: A Stricken Tale is a thriller for lovers of the point-and-click genre. Its good story and the great twist that ends it, coupled with immersive visual design, soundtrack, and sound effects, make its lack of a challenge its only weakness, but not one damaging enough to take away from the overall experience.

Feb 17, 2017I miss the old point and click adventure games. Gabriel Knight: The Beast Within, Black Dahlia, The Pandora Directive, Tex Murphy, Ripper. If you've also *cough* Myst *cough* playing these classics, consider it lucky that Among the Innocent: A Stricken Tale is here to scratch that nostalgic itch. And possibly also make you want to scratch out your eyeballs as you fail at figuring out yet another puzzle.
