    Best AvP game so far. Hopefully Colonial marines at least will be as good as the first one...
    Altough after twelve years the graphics is not anything special, this is still the most horric game ever.

    I just dusted this badboy off today after going through some boxes of stuff in my storage room. I remember this game being PRETTY GOOD when it came out. Not cutting edge on graphics or plot, but highly ambitious in terms of being the first game to give you a 1st person POV shot of you eating people as an alien in order to recover health. This game is a ton of fun (especially consideringI just dusted this badboy off today after going through some boxes of stuff in my storage room. I remember this game being PRETTY GOOD when it came out. Not cutting edge on graphics or plot, but highly ambitious in terms of being the first game to give you a 1st person POV shot of you eating people as an alien in order to recover health. This game is a ton of fun (especially considering that you don't care about it being cutting edge anymore). It looks awesome now that I have a PC powerful enough to run four copies of it in different windows simultaneously. Cheesy? Yes. But still is alot of fun running around on the ceilings and walls impaling predators and marines with my tail, or hunting marines with my predator shoulder cannon, or pinning guys to the wall with my awesome spear gun that shows its ammo in some insensible numbering system, or using all sorts of future guns to eradicate adjacent universal species as the marine. The game is kinda aged, but still awesome. Definitely pick it up if you find this badboy in a bargain bin somewhere!!!… Expand

    For that time the game was awesome. And hard.

    Pros.:
    - Three campaigns paving the way to the masterpiece - AvP2.
    - The game forces you to move and act fast, think, run.
    - Facehuggers - they were nightmare.
    - Final queen facedown by marine was cool.

    Cons.:
    - Poor level design.
    - Very short - compensated by the difficulty.

    Alien Versus Predator is completely underrated. It can totally keep up with famous FPS like Unreal and Half-Life. A must play for every fan of cool shooters and the Alien/Predator franchise.

    Taking on the role of the Predator, you will be able to fully demonstrate to all opponents what the ruthless extermination of all types of super-technological alien weapons is. And the inhuman roar after harvesting the trophies gives an unforgettable feeling of triumph.
    The plot is of little importance here. The main role is played by your ability to survive. And it depends only on you - whether you will be a victim or a hunter.    … Expand

    Это три игры в одной:

    За морпеха - хоррор. Темно, все мигает, непонятно, куда бежать, из пола , потолка и стен лезут чужие, из темноты прыгают лицехваты, патронов не хватает. Плюс где-то Хищник бродит За чужого - стелс. Прячемся в темноте, ползаем по потолку, вырубаем врагов поодиночке, наводим на всех панику. Главное - не попадаться никому на глаза, ибо дохнем от пары выстрелов:) За    Это три игры в одной:

    За хищника - шутер. Прем как танк, постреливая из плазменной пушки, так как ХП много и оно восстанавливается. Для пущего веселья врубаем маскировку и рвем всех на части когтями.    … Expand
