    A pretty solid platformer. "Solid" might be one of the most generic review words ever used, but it fits this game perfectly. The controls seem initially clunky, but are actually perfectly responsive once you get used to the real issue with the game: it's kinda slow-paced. There's not much enemy variety, but that's compensated with quality level design.

    I watched it in a streaming on Steam.
    You know, one can play junk yet addictive games like Hammerfight. One can choose a full junk game like Shelter.
    Akane the Kunoichi is the biggest waste of time and money I've seen so far.

    Akane the Kunoichi knows how to celebrate classic games of nes/snes era, but the poorly told story and the clumsy controls make this game forgettable.
