    Not bad. It is good for what it claims it is made for... someone's first flight sim. No campaign, reminds me of BOBII's training missions.

    A fun, simple flight sim at an affordable price. The game is pretty much pick-up and play. Anyone can enjoy this regardless of their skill at flight sims. The only bad thing about it is the lack of a campaign mode.

    Air Battles: Sky Defender makes for a solid introduction to the flight combat genre for newer players, and the price is right too.

    Air battles is a quality product that'll likely find an audience, but discerning PC pilots, new or old, can get much more bang for their buck by simply accessing the options menu in the original "BoB II" and toggling all the hard stuff to easy. [June 2007, p.57]
