    a play games since the beginning. also i started to play aoc from the start and tortage was awesome. now i had a second look at the game, bought the expansion and love it.
    what i love most is, that you can play the game like you want. my playstyle is to explore the fantastic landscapes (its worth it), meet interesting people from all over europe or solve a nice quest.

    Age of Conan is still one of the best MMORPG out there. RotG gives you plenty of things to do for hours and hours... Also the Tier 4 instance is very challenging and fun. Buy the expentionpack, join a guild and have fun...

    Age of Conan is a really great MMO, from all titles this is the only one I always go back after the latest "new release disappointment". Fantastic online RPG everyone should play

    Simply the best MMO in MMO history bar none! If you like it rough, bloody, real, sexy and combo system that puts ypu into the fight like no other MMO. THis is the MMO which takes a bit of skill to play. Some of the reviews here are old as hell and do not reflect the game as it istands today. The game has been massively over hauled. Population ios going up and up due to the recent massiveSimply the best MMO in MMO history bar none! Some of the reviews here are old as hell and do not reflect the game as it istands today. The game has been massively over hauled. Population ios going up and up due to the recent massive changes to make the combat more skill based by making CC combos also. This making the combat more fluid and let crowd control going on. I cannot think of any other MMO that makes you feel combat like AoC and on top of that. The graphic are hands down the best in the genre. No other MMO comes close though its recommended to have at least 3-4gb of ram. I don't want to spend all day wrioting reviews but it makes me sick to see all the negative reviews here from people from years ago who have helped to keep this ORIGINAL MMO down. Nothing offers what AoC offers. In a sea of boring MMO's this MMO has the most imortant element in spades, and that is Gameplay. My Official Score is 9 but I am giving it a 10 on the board! If you are sitting on the fence go and buy RISE OF THE GODSLAYER and enjoy this game. No one should miss playing through to level 80 on at least one class of the 12 AoC offers. They are all uniue and far superiour to the hollow versions to get in cheap games like WoW and Rift. Whats on offer? Necro Mancers with 8 pets! .. Demonologists with demon slaves... Assassins with duel daggers, Rangers, Barbarians, Bear Shaman (Twi hander hammer Priest), Tempest of Set, Priest of Mitra, Heral of Xotli, Dark Templars, Guardians and Conqeurors. When you reach the level cap in AoC you will find plenty to do also, and that also goes for solo content. There are T1 T2 T3 T4 dungeons but you can also do hard Mode Khitain dungeons for Epic loot (Best Epic Loot in the game) or you can solo grond for a faction Set. There are 5 PvP arenas, and servers offer full world PvP or PvE servers. I think I have covered most things. Simply the best MMO in MMO history bar none!… Expand

    Awesome game!!!! Best pvp in the history of mmorpg , imho , very fun combat system and a big world to explore!!!!..and the graphic is very very cool.Don't miss this game!!

    i see age of conan amongst the games that will have the brightest future, definately brighter than an mmo like swotr.
    What is most inspiring is that aoc is constantly getting better with a crew that seems very efficient for the its actual size

    I have to give this expansion a ZERO. Why? Because if you buy it off of a retail shelf, it is unplayable. You then have to re-purchase the game via the game's item shop. Unplayabe games or products that aren't games at all get a 0/10. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

Age of Conan always had a ton of potential in my opinion, but today it feels like the devs don't care about it anymore. Today I had to delete one of my chars because of a bug. I was trapped in a chamber and the mob that was supposed to drop the key, did not drop it. So I was stuck there,Fairly good game. Will keep you entertained for quite a while and offers some interesting features. Age of Conan always had a ton of potential in my opinion, but today it feels like the devs don't care about it anymore. Today I had to delete one of my chars because of a bug. I was trapped in a chamber and the mob that was supposed to drop the key, did not drop it. So I was stuck there, couldn't teleport out, re-logging didn't help. I sent a ticket and even brought up enough patience to wait 6 hours (while doing some other stuff). I never got a response. Worst of all, I cannot even post on the forums to inform FunCom of this, for whatever reason, I do not have the authority to create or post in an existing thread. I had to delete my character, because there was nothing I could do, honestly. That did it for me. I'm not touching this game anymore, knowing that it is perfectly possible to lose everything you've achieved. Neither are my friends, now that I had to delete my char, they didn't feel like continuing playing without me. A good game, with potential, but the devs don't care anymore. Zero dedication.… Expand

    Horrible game company that tends to suspend their players at random and refuses to give players a reason (Except: Sorry, its extremely busy we can't answer)). I highly recommend to not deal with this company.

    Funcom games are also in general extremely buggy but every game does has its unique flavor. Its just that the company is too horrible that I can't recommend any of their games.

    Well this game certainly died since last i played it.
    I used to play this game some years back, and thought id take a peek at it again.
    There is still the same technical issues, bugs, and absolutely no new content. Funcom also announced quite recently there will be no new development. only activity it seems these days, are the so called "RF" ( Raid FInder ).     What also put the final nail in the coffin, from my point of view, was how immature and extremely childish the community in the game is these days. Seems this game is played by emotional 12 year olds with parets issues.
    My advice, stay away from this game. There are lots of better games out there.    … Expand

    Rise of the Godslayer succeeds in improving a fairly good MMORPG. Fans asked for more content, Funcom delivered. Khitai offers a lot of things to keep you busy and the alternate advancement system gives players even more options to customize their characters.

    Stunning graphics, a well-told story, and now a big expansion in terms of gameplay and atmosphere: Age of Conan now looks like it should have looked two years ago when it was originally released. It‘s worth a look, this game is very rewarding.
