    A cheap, casual pirate game that is mired by DRM issues and gameplay that would appease only the most casual of PC players. If you're a hardcore gamer, avoid.

    This game is crippled from the get go. It uses user-hostile DRM(SecuRom). In order to play multilayer, you need: IGN account, gamespy id account and the gamespy comrade third party software. The developers were not thinking on their consumers when developing this game. Stay away from it.

    I enjoyed the original Age of Booty on PC, and am atremble with anticipation at the very thought of a sequel. Here's a pirate joke for you:

    Long ago when pirate ships sailed the seas, there was a pirate ship engaged in battle which was in serious danger of being boarded by the enemy.     This is a nice idea for a game, but it took me an hour to install because I had to sign up to game-spy, ign, and some other thing. I had to enter the serial code 3 times. The game is not difficult at all you don't need upgrades as you can beat any level in under 2 minutes without them. It's boring I think I would rather clean a toilet or take out the trash. maybe 5 minutes of game playThis is a nice idea for a game, but it took me an hour to install because I had to sign up to game-spy, ign, and some other thing.     Honestly, this game is really good and I was satisfied from the moment I first stepped into game. It's a very good game to play when you just want to play a casual game that doesn't require much thinking. The AI is surprisingly very good and work well on the custom made maps you can make on the map creator.
