    Holy **** Just wow. You don't have to love the ending to love the game. Thank you to the devs for making such a master piece.

    Definitely worth playing!

    PROS: * Great co-op, you need to work together on many levels, though sometimes it feels forced (why lift a fallen tree you should be able to jump over?) * We loved the split-screen solution, the way the player screens reshape or merge, for instance allowing one player to view a cinematic, and still leaving enough space for the other guy to do something in    Definitely worth playing!

    PROS:
    * Great co-op, you need to work together on many levels, though sometimes it feels forced (why lift a fallen tree you should be able to jump over?)
    * We loved the split-screen solution, the way the player screens reshape or merge, for instance allowing one player to view a cinematic, and still leaving enough space for the other guy to do something in the mean time.
    * Thrilling adventure. They chase you, you chase them, why not rob a gas station in the mean time...
    * Memorable, easily likeable main characters.
    * The game is not that expensive and you get a copy for your friend.

    CONS:
    * Some weird scene endings, that could have been better executed.
    * Takes about 6 hours to complete, and as for replay value:
    * Limited replayability. There is some, as you have to pick "Leo's way" or "Vincent's way" several times in the game. Enough to play one more time, at least for me.
    * I wish more choices on the way could influence the game ending.

    The best game for passing together. This is a whole story told to us about friendship, loyalty and family values. My friend and I went through it twice - each time for a different hero. That was great.

    That's all I gotta say.

    Haven't had so much fun PLAYING a game in a while. The co-op mode is incredibly well done. A+ with a star on it!

    Игра - шедевр, лучшая в жанре ко-оп за последние лет 5. Геймплей на сплитскрине вызывает только положительные эмоции, разве что я недоволен дартсом, где дротик летит ровно в цель. Ещё чуть смутила часть с перестрелками, где целиться с помощью геймпада вызывает трудности, так как сенса сильно уж велика. А в остальном игра очень хороша, особенно вызвала эмоции концовка.Игра - шедевр, лучшая в жанре ко-оп за последние лет 5.     I only bother to write reviews when I think the existing ones are wrong and they are. (xcom2, skyrim, witcher, mass effect tril, COH2, stellaris, GTA 5, Divinity Original sin 1/2 are our favs).

    A Way Out is one of the most perfectly put together games I have ever had the joy of playing coop made for coop. It feels like a AAA game that is extremely well optimized and with consoles in    I only bother to write reviews when I think the existing ones are wrong and they are. It feels like a AAA game that is extremely well optimized and with consoles in mind, occasionally it has the best realism graphics I have ever seen in a live action game (NO not at the start). It has incredible variety of mechanics for a SHORT game. We felt very compelled to finish it in one setting.

    I dunno guys.. why doesn't it get 90? My GF and I have to give it 10 marks. Great job Hazelight.

    The only complaint the game deserves is that the themes are all very familiar and nothing new storyline wise...    … Expand

    Its one of my new favorite games!

    There are too less good coop games out there with a good story. The game is only like 6 hours game play but the whole time exciting. I wish there where more time in the prison but that doesn't matter. Epic coop, slow motion scenes and a totally emotional ending. Gonna play it again with another friend.

    A Way Out has to be the best game I've played this year by far. The direction, mix of gameplay style, discovery with games within the game itself, homages and throwbacks, characters, settings, variety - and that ending jesus christ. I can't recommend it enough. The fact one person can buy it and the other person downloads the "game pass" from origin for free makes it even better.

    What a journey. First time I've played a game for 6-7hrs straight (apart from a 30-40 min break for dinner).

    Some of the sweeping camera moves was just mindblowing, some reminded me of david fincher. Can't recommend it enough. 2 friends will have a blast with it.    … Expand

    The Game is really the best game me and my buddy have played for years, the beginning you had no clue what would happen. and then in the end it hits you like a truck. finished in 6 hours complete session with no brakes, well i couldn't take a break even if i wanted to because of the story. it had action all the way throughout and i loved it.

    Amazing game, great twists, combat is smooth, the story was thrilling and kept you interested the whole way through. Amazing last hour of game-play, never felt that in a game before and the coop works extremely well. A lot of laughs, a lot of action, a lot of tears, a lot of fun!

Не смотря на то, что на прохождение ушло только 6 часов, но это были прекрасные 6 часов, насыщенные событиями и весельем.     Super fun game. I play it with my girlfriend and it's great because it's not an extremely challenging game with a steep learning curve and skill charts and blah blah blah. It's just a fun drama-filled game that we can enjoy together. Split screen games are a dying breed and I am so thankful it's split screen on PC too and not just through online but local. Runs great, no glitches and isSuper fun game. Metacritic is broken so I'd say this game is more an 8/10 but gotta rate it 10/10 to counter the 0/10's (why does 0/10 even exist? You can't rate something 0/10, mathematically or otherwise unless the game doesn't exist....)… Expand

    As my self, on movie or game doesn't matter. I never connect to characters and never cry. But this one, at the final almost made me cry. I really couldn't escape from feelings of this game that gave me about days. I am playing games every day; Witcher, Rainbow, CSGO, Tomb Raider etc. I played almost all games that i heard but that's my best game.     Awesome game. I enjoyed playing with a friend. Passed in one breath. I really liked the story. An unexpected ending, for which a special thank you. We need more such this games.

    Great story, awesome experience to play this game, but it requires you to play with a friend, but due to this you only need 1 copy and invite your friend to play with you without him/her needing a copy of the game.
    Great graphics, great voice acting with face capture(i believe).
    If you have a friend that would like this type of game, I recommend it. "10/10 – Amazing.     I really can't believe the hate on this game, I just found it outstanding. it's really just a work of art and the most brilliant experience I've had in a while. 10/10 100/100 this game is just **** awesome

    Great Game, especially in this short time. You got QuickTime-events, sneak-missions, Gunplay and amazing story with unexpected end. It's not only a prison break, it's a really good friendship. One Detail I really loved are the smartly build in the levels minigames all around the story.

Конечно в фоллауте больше часов игры, развилок сюжета, но блииииииииииин, как же это сделано на "на вот покушой фигни, нам было лень делать лучше". А эта игра? Есть проблемы технические, но сделано так, что после да и во время игры тебе круто.     This game redefines what co-op means in a revolutionary way. The story is also great but the gameplay is what makes this game phenomenal.

    Hazelight’s interactive movie sets a new standard for co-op games. It’s varied, thrilling, very pretty and enjoyable for both hardcore and casual gamers. It evokes tons of positive emotions and I can’t remember last time an action game moved me so much. [05/2018, p.50]
