    One of the best coop games out there. The ending may not be satisfying but it is an unexpected twist nonetheless.

    Finished the game with my friend and it was a blast! Loved the characters, story, and mechanics, but the ending was surprising and didn't quite satisfy me. Still, an unforgettable co-op adventure worth playing together!"

    It's an ok game.

    Pros.:
    - The story is touching.
    - Using a controller is neat.
    - Some decision-making.
    - The game blends multiple previous gaming experiences: Just Cause, Uncharted, GTA, etc.

    Cons.:
    - They artificially extended the game (to create more sympathy with the characters).
    - Decision-making is actually less effective as you think.
    - Ending - should have made more options.

    For me, this wasn't a mind-blowing experience. But it slowly makes you become attached to its characters and their stories. And that's where I think this game shines. It will probably not be the best game you played or the most brilliantly executed, but you might leave with a fun and memorable experience.

    Неплохая кооперативная игра, рассказывающая нам о двух заключенных - Лео и Винсенте, которые должны выбраться из тюрьмы.

    Графика в игре неплохая, особенно красиво выполнены джунгли. Механик в игре не очень много, но есть одна невероятно ужасно выполненная - стрельба, на геймпаде аим ассист через раз работает и ты практически вслепую стреляешь, так же в игре есть момент перестрелки    Неплохая кооперативная игра, рассказывающая нам о двух заключенных - Лео и Винсенте, которые должны выбраться из тюрьмы.

    Механик в игре не очень много, но есть одна невероятно ужасно выполненная - стрельба, на геймпаде аим ассист через раз работает и ты практически вслепую стреляешь, так же в игре есть момент перестрелки между главным персонажами и если один из вас на мышке, а второй на геймпаде, то второму человеку можно в принципе забыть о победе в этой дуэли.

    Коммуникация между персонажами выполнена в принципе неплохо, нет никаких закрепленных ролей за персонажами, поэтому вы на ходу можете решать кто чем будем заниматься: к примеру один будет отвлекать охранника, а второй красть отвертку и т.п. ситуации.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. У игры есть всего несколько аспектов, которые смущают во время прохождения. Первый связан с перманентным ощущением, что игроков ведут за ручку и не дают сделать шаг куда-то в сторону, из-за чего даже открытые локации с кучей активных действий порой
    воспринимаются душно и линейно - у разработчиков, к сожалению, не получилось создать иллюзию свободы, или же эта иллюзия теряется где-то к середине игры, когда ритмическая структура становится однообразной: открытая локация - погоня, драка - уникальная активность (заезд на машине, плавание на лодке) - открытая локация - погоня... И так до конца. Когда к этому привыкаешь, становится и очевидной повторяемость - меняется лишь форма - активностей: то бейсбол, то дартс, то на инвалидом кресле покачаться - каждый раз здорово, да, но с каждым разом все меньше удивляет. Улетучивается и ощущение хоть какой-то необходимости в диалогах со случайными прохожими (хотя необязательность их очевидна ещё в самом начале) - да, прописаны эти диалоги интересно, мимолетные лица разнообразны и порой забавны, но никакой нагрузки это не несёт, поэтому я даже почти не подходил к ним, чтобы не терять динамику происходящего.
    Но, несмотря на то, что игра неубедительно предоставляет свободу, несмотря на бесполезность некоторых активностей и откровенную идиотскую сущность пары сцен - "Way out" это замечательное кооперативное приключение, может, одна из лучших игр такого рода, что успели создать игроделы.
    Первая половина игры - это действительно увлекательный экшен, когда интересные механики только раскрываются, ритмическая структура ещё не ясна, а иллюзия некоторой свободы присутствует, даже qte ещё не приедаются своей однообразностью (можно же было сделать хотя бы сочетания кнопок, а то всегда заранее знаешь, что нажимать придётся только две)...
    И ещё. В игре, на удивление, достойный сценарий. Хорошее ремесленническое достижение - персонажи получились живыми, мотивации ясными, а финал каким-то чертовски трогательным. В конце понимаешь, что не проиграл или выиграл, а что произошла какая-то неизбежная потеря - один из игроков, кто выжил в конце, как и выживший персонаж, остаётся с грузом на сердце, ведь потерял хоть и, скажем, врага, но того врага, который столько времени был напарником в самых залихватски поставленных сценах игры; так же каждый персонаж остаётся с невыполненными задачами, которыми нагрузили их сценаристы - это своеобразное многоточие тоже привносит дополнительное дыхание жизни в эту историю...
    Несмотря на то, что какие-то составляющие игры приедаются по ходу прохождения, тем не менее, все хорошо скрепляет хороший сценарий, драйвовая постановка и уникальный опыт совместной игры, который на моей памяти один из самых интересных и увлекательных...

While the ideas are generally not bad, they are just not implemented in a very challenging way. The game looks fine and the performance is good with the exception that it kept crashing on startup.     Overall A Way Out is fun to play with a friend as long as you don't mind unspectacular gameplay and many cutscenes. In that case, I would recommend this game with just one exception. The free friend's pass is great but the game is still far away from being worth 30€. I picked it up for 8€ and I wouldn't pay much more.

    Game was was OK to play with a friend but your choices don't really matter that much and the ending.. uhh I'd have been 8 if it weren't for that ending.

    Action driven co-op game.
    It is not a must play or strongly recommended game, but overall for the 6 hours span it is mostly fun to play.

    Animations are stiff, sound is not top notch but graphics are nice and runs well even with two separate rendering windows.

    Story: 8/10
    Gameplay: 6/10
    Graphics/Physics: 9/10
    Music/Sound: 7,5/10
    Overall: 7,43/10

The story is very simple and cliché in general but it keeps you entertained and wanting to see more, which is good. The plot twist at the end is really good, but I thought there was a lack of forshadowing from him (some 'tips' from him before), except that he makes you feel a little bad. The 2 finals of the game I didn't like so much but this is something personal, because in technical matters he is very good (direction, gameplay and script).

    For the time of the game the protagonists are quite deep, they did a good job with the assistants too.

    Gameplay. The action is good and the controls are very interesting. Decisions that affect 'missions' are pretty cool. I just found the puzzles (the focus of gameplay) too easy and simple. In Brothers, the difficulty of this item was much greater in general. The minigames are cool.

    It's a great action-adventure game plus It's a Co-Op game! In the couch market we are in need of games like this one. It a great experience with a friend but the game Itself fails to deliver in It's story.

    This game was absolutely awful! The voice acting was terrible, it felt like it was a 10 year old game but really it was quite new, and the puzzles (if you even call them that) were jokes.

    That being said, me and my friends enjoyed how absolutely awful all these things were. We had quite a few laughs at the expense of the game and the terrible scenarios we were put in. We did have a hoot    This game was absolutely awful!     That being said, me and my friends enjoyed how absolutely awful all these things were. We had quite a few laughs at the expense of the game and the terrible scenarios we were put in.     К покупке могу порекомендовать людям у которых есть второй друг для совместного прохождения.

    Your choices affect only on game situations, but not endings. Intriguing start -> HORRIBLE gameplay -> good ending. I would like more if this story would be told in a short story or video, but not in game. It was the worst interactive movie game I ever played.

    Hazelight’s interactive movie sets a new standard for co-op games. It’s varied, thrilling, very pretty and enjoyable for both hardcore and casual gamers. It evokes tons of positive emotions and I can’t remember last time an action game moved me so much. [05/2018, p.50]
